Arnel Management review: Improper record keeping and accusation of debts owed

Iin February 2023 I was summoned to appear in court over an illegal misuse of the law where Arnel evicted me while I was waiting to receive rent relief during COVID which happened in April 2023. By February 2023, I had long moved out and the rent relief program had paid them but Arnel claimed there was STILL a balance of $5000. Knowing this was inaccurate, I asked them to check their files & agreed to paying 100/month until my court date in February 2023 where the case was dismissed and the judge even asked why is this even on my list this case has no merit. I clarified that this included dismissing all remaining debt associated with the rental including the alleged $5000 they alleged was owed after being paid off already by the state of Ca. Nearly a year later i reveive a message and numerous calls from Collections threatening me, telling me they will sue me and that i better rethink my stance or else their next case against me is going to come after me for all the covid debt! Umm, what debt? What in the world are they referring to- they were paid off and the judge dismissed the remaining fees associated with the case in Feb 2023. Case closed. Yet this collections person threatened me saying he will reopen it and sue me for a limited liability case. This is illegal. This matter was resolved. My uncle, Hon. S. Clarkson is the superior court judge for the county they would have to file this lawsuit in and he has some words for them if they do not stop harrassing me and write off the case as dismissed and closed- immediately and permanently.
