It was the 25th August in the early afternoon (British) 2022
The printed reply came up, the usual 'my name is?. How can I help you today?' So I gave the problem I believed had arisen. A few more different screens came up and I was informed a charge of one dollar. I am in England so 85p is on the bank statement and a much higher amount lower down.
OK. Then the screen said there was a subscription fee if I wanted to 'join'. I said no thanks.
Meanwhile I had fiddled with my phone and it worked again! I was not sure whether it 'just happened' or was a result of my plea and somehow been fixed!
Being over 80 and on my own, there are many happenings I don't understand.
But I typed a thankyou to whoever it was (obviously not BT) and said I needed no further assistance at any time.
My bank statement shows the 85p and also printed a week later, the horrendous figure of £63.68. I am entirely out of pocket and very shocked. This was the beginning of September.
Please will you help me retrieve this?
