Wrong Mattress Delivered – Aspire Refused to Resolve Issue Properly
I ordered a Pure Relief Memory Foam Mattress through B&Q in January 2024. The supplier was Aspire Furniture. However, I received a cheaper Essentials Mattress instead. Unfortunately, both mattresses look nearly identical and come with no clear markings or branding, so I didn’t realise the mistake at the time.
After just over a year, the mattress developed a serious dip and became extremely uncomfortable. This prompted me to look into it more closely, and I discovered it wasn’t even the model I had paid for.
When I contacted Aspire Furniture, they refused to acknowledge the issue. Their response was dismissive, saying it was too late to help and offering me a “discounted” price on the correct mattress — the one I should have received in the first place.
This is unacceptable. I paid for a higher-end product and received an inferior one. I expect better from a company supplying products for people’s homes. Their refusal to fix the issue, along with the poor product quality and lack of accountability, is shocking.
Avoid Aspire Furniture if you value transparency, customer service, and getting what you actually paid for.
Claimed loss: £149
Desired outcome: Supply the correct mattress I paid for or refund the cost and I will buy elsewhere
