I made $10000 investment into the Association of Trading Professionals. I know now that it is a big scam and I probably will not return the money I gave them. That’s why I wanted to warn as many people as I can about this accident. Watch out!

The Association of Trading Professionals (Australia) charges $699 for membership. Any investment funds are deposited directly into the client's personal trading account with Vantage FX, based in Australia. This person's comment in relation to investing $10, 000 is untrue and not related to our business. If the person who made this comment would like to contact my directly on [protected], I would love to hear from them to resolve this matter & have this post removed.

Also this comment is from someone in The United States of America. We only have members in Australia with our Association, plus our membership is only $699. Not $10, 000! All of our members trading capital is deposited directly into their own personal account with our partners Vantage FX, who are an Australian award winning broker based in Australia. Anyone who has posted comments on any of these sites please contact me personally on [protected] and ask for Grant McLoughlin. I would love to speak with the person who is named Buggyboys, this person is 100% not a member of our association (FACT). All at The A.T.P pride ourselves on insuring all of our members are happy, and successful long-term. Anyone who is looking at this comment and is interested in investing with The A.T.P, please have an open mind and understand that we have all the proof, fact and evidence to make you feel confident in investing with us.

Nice little spin up Grant Mcloughlin ! Can you please explain the association of 'The Association of Trading Professionals Pty Ltd ' of Bundell QLD, to the recently insolvent 'Winchester Securities" of Bundell QLD ? How many or your associates and directors had a resurrection from Winchester to the newly rebirthed "Trading Professionals" ? ... Understand virtually all the same "slick talking sales people " in the same building repeating the same old FX, Gold and Oil trading schemes to the same old gullible investors ! ...

Also watch out for 'Global Income Solutions PTY Ltd' ABN [protected]. Appears this company was set up by Pattison on the same day as "Winchester Securities" demise. Looks like this "botton shelf company " is just waiting in the wings, ready to take over when 'The Association of Trading Professionals Pty Ltd' suddenly becomes deceased. The 'Global Solutions' even have an identical website already set up ready to go, churning old the same old stuff ! Don't be fooled by the promise of life-time membership, the companies all look terminal ! Appears there is no regard for investors and creditors, they are just "road kill" along the journey.

Got burnt by Winchester Securities for $10, 000 and they proceeded to lose 2/3 of my investment in a month. I recieved a cold call from ATP wanting to know if I would like to invest some of my Super with them. The Association of Trading Professionals (ATP) is registered with (ASIC) Australian Securities and Investment Commision on 31/07/13 but yet are using historical data from over 2 years prior. As part of their sales pitch they try to convince you that by adding the results of the GOLD, OIL & FOREX trades they are achieving a approx. 17% return on investments in a month. The fact is that by divideing the total percentage by the three investment the actual is more like aprox. 5.66%. That is a big difference and the hyper inflated returns are deceptive to say the least and I would doubt that it would be compliant with ASIC rules. I've considered making a complaint with ASIC but trying to navigate their website is difficult and the phone call to the complant line was of very little help. My best advice is stear clear and see how long they last. The proof is in the pudding.

To summarise then : Once upon a time there were 3 companies, Winchester Securities ABN [protected], The Association of Trading Professionals ABN [protected], Global income Solutions ABN [protected], and these were all linked to the very nice Mr Pattison. These nice companies would peddle flaky FX and futures trading systems spruiking lifetime membership for one-time fees to many investors far and wide. Their very polite sales staff would quote impressive returns to their nice investors over the phone such that the wide eyed investors would never even ask for even basic verification like prospectus, paperwork or proof of the companies credentials. The investors were given cast iron assurances that investors trading accounts were safe and at arm’s length from the 3 nice companies. The nice investors became a little distressed when in Winchester’s case their money would just sometimes disappear from their trading accounts without explanation. The same investors became very distressed when all of a sudden “Winchester” the company they trusted so dearly with their money became insolvent and left the nice investors scrambling to gather the morsels left of their investments. Little did these naive little investors know, but a new company “The Association of Trading Professionals’ would be reborn from nowhere, call the distressed investors one more time and the very polite sales staff would quote impressive returns to their nice investors over the phone such that the wide eyed investors would never even ask for even basic verification like prospectus, paperwork ... .. The cycle just gone on and on ...

Grant McLoughlin spoke with me a few weeks ago after I had withdrawn my interest in their services. Like Kiwi Chap I had visited the ASICS website and checked Winchester Securities etc and read the writing in between. They are malicious ###. Quotes like "you will never have to work hard again" or "just give me your card details so I can secure a membership for you as they are fast running out" The only thing running out Grant, and I know you are reading this, is the money you have scammed off your victims. I cant believe the comparison you used when I asked you about your other directors. I asked Grant a simple question. "Are you or any of your directors formally associated with Winchester Securities?" his reply "No, Im only one of the directors and I don't know or ask about their previous dealings" I asked, "As a director, don't you have an duty of care to your creditors to ensure that the people you go into business with have a solid track record? or even for your own personal reasons" his reply which shocked me" I don't ask about the qualifications
of an airline pilot when I board a Quantas Aircraft, or their crew" I can assure you one thing. The new website for ATP with all its glitter was funded by the tears of Winchester Securities Investors. You are ### Grant, typical vulture ###..did your Winchester victims fund your recent trip to the UK? You know who I am, you have my phone no. Call me anytime.

Some English bloke rang me several weeks ago and told me that I could make an average of $400 a week if I paid $10000 up front
to The Association of Trading Professionals, his name was Gerald.
After he rang back several times and careful thought he convinced me that this was the way to go so i decided to hand over $10000
to the company so they could trade for me on Vantage Fx in foreign exchange, gold and oil.
Trading began a week ago and I lost $500 of my $20000 with Vantage Fx.
This did not worry me however yesterday on 27/08/13 my investment lost $2000.
I attempted to ring Gerald several times but his phone rang and no answer.
I also asked him if I could have a refund of my money last week as I was a little worried about trading results and not making money.
Now I find out that this company has a very bad history as you can see.
Why is ASIC allowing this company on trade.
Beware of this complete scam.
I have reported The Association Of trading Professionals to ASIC
MY next step will be Slater and Gordan.

Sorry Todorov, if this guy was called Gerald Goodwin ? Then you can kiss the money goodbye ... he is another veteran of the the Winchester trainwreck, and also has a track record for attracting very vunerable investors via dating websites... Also big alert ... the ATP have recently changed their website to ABN [protected], maybe they are feeling the heat, the ABN currently returns an invalid ABN on the ASIC website... I will report back with full details of this shonky ABN shortly ...

I had the same thing just happen to me on Tuesday 3/8/2013. I got a cold call from a 'Paul' that works for TheATP, saying he has special packages to sell, $5000 to trade Gold and Crude Oli for 12 months or $10000 for 36 months. He went through a web presentation with me, showing me past results and stating that I would be making 13% interest on the money I invest with them. So you end up spending the money to buy their services (either $5000 for 12 months or $10000 for 36 months) and then you need to open up a trust account and deposit minimum $5000 in there and give them full authorisation to trade your $5000 or whatever you deposited into the trust.
Paul said there were only a limited amount of packages and to get this great deal I would need to sign up immediately after the presentation.
This all sounds like a scam to me! I spoke to my financial advisor and he said to be very carefull and do my research before signing up to anything. Lucky I did, because I came across this website and read all about ATP and how it is a scam. Thank goodness, I would have lost all my money.
Warning to all people approached by ATP, it is a scam!

This is a company with lots of smoke and mirrors! Suddenly enter a new registered ABN [protected] effective from 23rd August called “ATP Australia PTY Ltd”. The new Company has a reassuring paid up capital value of $120 and now lists its principal place of business as 44 Market St, Sydney. Don’t be fooled by this, the directors of the new entity are still Grant Mcloughlin and Jamie Digby. This is perhaps an attempt to distance themselves from Darren Gene Pattison, however Digby still has close links to Pattison being still registered as a co-director with Pattison in the very flaky entity “Global Income Solutions Pty Ltd”! Within “Global Income Solutions” Digby is registered is living at Pattison’s home address in Merrimac, however under the new entity Digby now lives with Grant Mcloughlin in Santosa Waters. I wouldn’t put my hard earned cash anywhere near this complex web of bottom feeder companies, it would certainly end up with tears!

This just gets worse ! Look out also for "The AUGUSTA GROUP PTY LTD" ACN [protected] has just been listed today by Grant McLoughlin and you guessed it ! Co-Director "Darren Gene Pattison" ... This is a "wrecker's yard" of worthless paper companies lined up and ready to take your money ! Investors & creditors beware !

The ATP is somehow associated with Got Money Fx according to the Financial Ombudsman and ASiC.
The ATP will lose your Trading Funds very quickly on VantageFx with their computer operated trading program and also keep your
reduced fee of $10000. Good try smooth talkers and liars.

Received a phone call from ATP offering a computer presentation of their investment. Went through program with slick salesmen who provided very little information in relation to the investment. At the conclusion went straight to sign up page. I explained that no way would I invest my money in a company after that scant presentation and would need to conduct my own research. He then mentioned that ATP needed to be comfortable that I was the right person for them and he would have to speak to his manager, as I obviously did not trust what he was saying. He gave me until the end of the week to contact him otherwise they would have to offer the opportunity to someone else. Meaning some unsuspecting person who would part with their money easier than I. Thankfully my research uncovered this site. Legitimate investment Co's do not pressure people into parting with their money and are open to scrutiny.

And no doubt it's purely coincidental that the Association of Trading Professionals is registered on the ASIC website at the same address as the sleazy call centres Winchester Securities/GIS and Magnum FX - 3 Allison Street Surfers Paradise.

On the 30th September 2014 True Wealth was registered with ASIC, its sole director being none other than Paul Wills, sole director of Trading IT and formerly of the ATP and what a surprise, Gerald Goodwin (Ged Goodwin according to his facebook profile) seems to have suddenly left Trading IT to work there too, following his stellar career with Winchester Securities, the ATP and Trading IT. The Pattison/McLoughlin partnership continues under yet another ABN and company name.
