I´m a victim too from the Award Processing Center. Í´m from the Netherlands and I´ve the same problem as all the people wo write complainletters. I´m 68 years old woman. It would be a plesure if I could get an adress from someone or more people wo want to take revance. If we could all come to getter then we can bring them dfor the judge and than they can get the punish that they deserve! In the letters they write they seems to be quite neat gentlemen but in real life they are such criminals and they use poor and helpless people to exploit and use for themselves, because all the money I and you have send they keep it by themselves. I want to cantact with one of you of more people, then we can take together a decision what to do with it. please contact me,
I´m delighted to hear something.

with all the things the feds want to control, why can't they get a handle on these scammers? what ever happened to postal inspection? or fbi? doesn't this kind of fraud fall under their jurisdiction? the trouble with me coming after these people is that i will go to prison for what i would do to them for scamming monies from my mother, who is in her 80's, limited income, and sorry to say, vulnerable to these kinds of fraud. why can't americans earn money the old fashioned way...you know work for it?!

as an 84 year old widow I receive these letters from award processing center almost every day, and many others like them.
Each one has a different post office box, and a different large amount stated. However, I read each letter and if it is asking me to send a processing fee I trash the whole thing.
If it is a contest you have not personally entered-it is usually a fake. IF THEY ASK FOR A PROCESSING FEE IT IS A SCAM. It is the law that a legitimate contest is not allowed, to charge a processing fee. Read all such letters such as award processing center and others and look for the fee request, if it is there DO NOT ANSWER THEM SEND NO MONEY. BE VERY CAREFUL OF ALL CONTESTS THERE ARE MANY OTHERS LIKE THEM OUT THERE.

I have written to these companies and asked them not to send me any further requests for money for these so-called awards. Twice I sent the fee in and then was mailed a consolation prize which consisted of an offer to buy some off-brand camera for the same price that you can buy it on-line. The wording in these letters is extremely clever and upon initial reading sounds like you have won a sweepstakes. I just received a "Secure Notification with names on a list that appear to have received an award of money - the list had my name on it for 15, 000 dollars that they say I have not claimed; and in order to receive it or be eligible to receive it, I must send in a $9.00 fee. Another letter from something called the "Award Notification Commission" goes to great lengths to make you feel that you have won 2, 000, 000 dollars. But of course one must first send in $11.89 acquisition fee. At the very end of these letters it says: pending winner finalization or "certification to play the next round" - All this seems to indicate a scam. If you think about it, all of us could send out such a letter and see how many "suckers" would send us 9.00 to 12.00 to be entered to win some grandiose non-existent award! Does anyone know the legalities on this type of activity? Sincerely S. Dodge

I also received the same award document from a Geoffrey McMillen for over $3, 000, 000.00! Wow, sure would be nice, guess it was just my thrill for the day! I'll just have to work longer and harder to make up for it somehow ;(
Well this is what I received today and to me it is just hard to believe that they would say that you win that much money and for then just to send you a letter that is why i new it was a scam but I just can't believe that they have not put a stop to him yet but here is some photos that will prov that he is a scam !
So someone take a look at the photos and tell what you think

I received an award letter today saying I could be the winner of a Lexus CT 200 hybrid. Who are these people and how can they ask for $20.00
association fee? Someone please help find these fools and prosecute them. SCAMMERS!
Don't send them the $20 or whatever. Just tell them you will give them $50, 000 upon receipt of the $3 million.
when and if you win "You Never pay to collect your money" I would say go to your city or state..."Consumer affairs" ours here in Los Angeles in at 500 hope st or it could be temple st, cant remember but google "Consumer affairs" and complain to them or they will tell you where you can go...I got scammed from a shister Lawyer I paided him 2500.00 to do some work for me, and 8 months later he did nothing...I got all my reciepts together, and wrote a letter of complaint...and within the week I got a reply from consumer affairs and within 3 weeks I got my whole 2500 dollars back...! also if you work for someone and especially "agencys" and they dont pay you you can complain to the labor board in "Your city and state only where this happened" good luck.
I also received a letter telling me that I had won $3, 591, 235.00 and to send $20 to Processing Center at PO Box 78, 3840 AB Doom The Netherlands
The man that signed it was Geoffrey McMillen. On the "Confirmed Granted I.D was [protected]. .

yes people, for every person who mails them the money you make them money, I kind of figured that this was a scam, like all the other's above noted, they always want you to pay for it, it it was real then why can't the money be taken from the winnings? so do not fall for this. Some people might say, "Oh it's just $20." But it's your $20 not theirs, so just trash it
I got the same envelope and letter today. I am going to send it back but in pieces along with a very strong letter. It's a scam. I did not even enter this contest nor have i ever lived in the netherlands. I live in louisiana
I have received the same letter by FedEx and want to know how they can be prosecuted. I was about to send them the 20 dollars today. Has any one tried to find Dir. Geoffrey McMillen who signed the letter?
Although I didnt pay asked a lawyer for advice...said it was a scam didnt want to believe it so I searched every word on the document till I found geofrey mickmillen scam scam scam its all I saw looked up address got the same so thanks to you he wont be getting my $20
I am from Wisconsin, USA. I received two different letters from this company, one for a monetary award and the second for a BMW. Like others have noted the letter and forms seem very professional. One letter was even delivered in FedEX red label. I contacted the only company I enter for awards and they told me it was not them.
Red flags were 1) no contact information for the company 2) no obvious company name 3) It is ILLEGAL in the USA to ask for money for a won prize/reward!
Please keep letting others know not to send these scam artists any money.
Wow, here in Texas! Today I too receive that same kind of letter! This is crazy, all the time and thought they put into this scam; they could possibly start a real business and make their own money for real! if there is anything that can be done contact me at gbridges1980@aol.com. It is a waste of time! I really hope someone can put a stop, before they get to someone that is willing to give them money, and maybe that's all that person have! Wow God bless us all!
I just received one today and was so excited...thank goodness my son is super smart and looked for the pixels on the signature...fake. The paper does look quite legit though A for effort. But i have my own FedEx account at work and it came from RedEx...they do not exist. And when they asked for money nope. You do not pay processing fees for something you legitimately eon

I got one of those letter in the mail by FedEx. I thought it was too good to be true. I hope you get those people who is stealing money from people. I did not fall for it. Thanks for letting me know about the hoax.
My roommate recieved a letter very similar to the ones described from a Award Processing Center in a PedEx envelope. It requested a $20.00 processing fee and the return of the certificate sent, which was identical to the one shown in the photos above. The award amount was also for $3, 591, 236.00. I typed the amount from memory so I could be off by a few digits. However, it is the exact same amount that another complaint for a ficticious < 3 million dollar award.
Our thanks to those who have posted their experiences with these attempted scams. It saved us from being scammed as well.
From two grateful roomies in Arizona.
I had a feeling that this was too good to be true a letter stating that I had won $15, 000 dollars and that I had to send in $9.00 to get it. I live in the United States the letter says pay the $9 fee and send to the address on the mail in envelope is AWARD PROCESSING CENTER 1401 ARMOUR RD, PO BOX 21-9620 KANSAS CITY, MO 61421
I sent mine back with a signature... just to piss them off... if they want the processing fee take it out of my winnings
I won 21, 000, just need to pay a $12.00 dollar processing the letter looks important with sealed stamps by senior director of payments John win stead,
