Placed an Awesome Auger order on Saturday on www.buytheauger.com. Site gave me the opportunity to purchase additional items and just pay shipping and handling. Site confirmed order, but did not give me the option to view order. Site also did not give me a total price. I had to wait until Monday, to contact customer service. Gave the Rep my name and order #. Rep could not find order and told me to call back on Tuesday. Tuesday morning, I checked bank account, and $158.58 was deducted for the Awesome Auger and other accessories. I then again contacted Awesome Auger to cancel order. Rep brought up order and told me I could not cancel order, because it was already on truck. I told Rep, that I contacted them the day before to cancel and they could not find order (how convenient). I then told Rep I was going to return order for refund. Rep told me, that I was responsible for all shipping and handling charges, which comes up to $113.70 and I was also repsonsible for charges to send back items. If I am lucky, I may get back $20.00. What a rip off. Site is totally unfriendly and customer service is misleading.
awesome auger advertise you would get 2 auger plus an extension and power drill for 19.95 plus shippin and handling and all i got was 2 auger.i ha d to pay additional 19.95 to extra product.
I ordered a awesome auger, and i did not receive, the free drill and all other products promised. I am a Senior Citizen and this is not right.
Very deceptive. You get a partial shipment. When you call customer service they tell you that you owe more money for S&H. When you tell them that you have complied with the S&H information on the order they tell you that you are mistaken. When you ask to return, they inform that you pay the shipping back to them and they keep the $8.95 S&H that they have already collected for the partial shipment. Then they hang up on you.

Total cheaters who won't tell you the cost for shipping and handling of their bonus items until they have already charged you. A total disgrace.
Can't get hold of anyone to check status of order.
Also, no summary given of charges to be made to my credit card.
They say you get the power drill when you order the weed auger and pay s&h.they rip you off.because you dont get the power drill.i paid over $36.00 to me thats false advertising.will never buy anything from them again.plus $16.90 for s&h.
I bought the Awesome Auger for US$19.95 in the internet in October 2008. The company has been charging my account. I have contacted American Express to assist me in this fraudulent charges but upto now cannot locate this establishment. It will almost be one year now. I have wasted a lot of overseas toll charges.
awesome auger order online is a one man arm bandit, once you enter your credit card, their is not way to cancel or go back anymore. I want to stop or cancel when I was mistakenly ordered and I have no choice to go back. Bureau of better business should investigate this online ordering online which is fraud all the way.
This is also valid for me. I also entered credit card number, but did not order it. I do not know how to call or cancel them sipping the order. It is a frad Company. No email to respond and no phone number to call. BBB must black list the.
The battery's in the drills don't last over 4 mins when fully charger, i need new ones and haven't had them or used them over a 6 months
