Balboa Press review: Royalties

I have not received any Royalty Payments from Balboa for the 2022 period. I emailed the following to the company and never received a response.

"Balboa Press ACTION REQUIRED - Royalty Payments Moving to Electronic Payments effective January 31, 2023

Dear Author,

Balboa Press is pleased to announce that we have launched an initiative to transition royalty payments currently made by check to payments via Automated Clearing House (ACH). ACH is an electronic payment that is credited directly to your bank account on the payment date. ACH is a safe and secure method of payment that improves the security, efficiency and environmental impact of our royalty payment process.

Balboa Press will discontinue mailing royalty payment checks to you after January 31, 2023. In order to avoid any delay in receiving your royalty payments:

1. Please click on the following link to the Author Center account

2. To submit your bank information, “Account Information” and then “Update Electronic Payment Info.” You must have a US bank account number.

If you have yet to register for the Author Center:

1. To register for your author center, go to www.BalboaPress.com and click on the person icon on the top right hand side of the page.

2. Then click “Login” and “Create an account.”

3. You must use the email address to which this email was sent to register.

IF you are registered but your password needs reset:

1. On the login page please click on the “Forgot your Password” link

2. You will be sent the following email:

A system-generated email was sent to your email address containing a link which will direct you to the password reset page. Please create a new password and take note that it should meet the following requirements:

>Passwords must be at least eight (8) characters in length

>Passwords must contain at least three (3) of the four (4) below:

Uppercase letter

Lowercase letter

Number

Special character

If you have questions or need assistance with your Author Center registration, please see the FAQ’s or the instructions attached to this message. You must have an active United States bank account to receive payments via ACH. Balboa Press will continue to provide quarterly electronic reports of royalties earned in your Author Center account.

If you already receive your royalty payments via ACH, you do not need to take any further action.

We appreciate your help with this transition, and we hope that you enjoy our improved process as well.

The following are examples of what I have experienced with Balboa. Now you want me to give my banking information, something you should already have on record. No way in hell. Any royalties due to me can be mailed to my home address of record: ******* Royalty percentage is low. Be aware. ******* I paid for a expensive marketing plan and I cannot get Kean Wilson to respond at all. He's the second marketing person assigned to me, no idea what happened to the first one but she didn't respond either. I call and email and nothing. They are very eager to sell their service but lack greatly in work product outlet and customer services. I won't use them again. ******* AWFUL experience. I am the author of ********. This company lacks integrity under the guise of love and light to simply financially benefit. My experience was a 16k scam and manipulation from their senior publishing consultant Brian Adamson. Do not trust this company with your hard work and pure energy.
