Barkleys Bank review: Trying to report fraud

I was notified by Transunion Credit Agency that Barkleys Bank in Wilmington, Delaware did a credit check on me on 2/3/2023. There was no reason for them to do that - I do not do business with Barkleys Bank and live in NY. I suspect someone tried to open an account in my name since this has happened before. I called Barkleys at [protected]. An automated system asked for my credit card number. I do not have one since I have no accounts with them. So they transferred me to a customer service agent. The agent said he can only help persons with an account. He insisted I am not in their system. I explained I wanted the credit check removed from my credit accounts and again I asked to be transferred to a fraud agent. The CS agent told me he could not give me a number and could not help me. I have tried to find information on line and too little is available.
