Purchased on 2/9/11.
Battery Junction was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Seller sold me a LIR 2032 battery charger that was broken and carelessly glued together with glue everywhere. The battery holder was broken and wires were exposed. It was a cheap product that could not have been worth over $2. In addition, I bought a bunch of rechargeable batteries that now don't have a working charger. Beware that seller will not provide return shipping even if product arrives damaged. Why should I spend more on shipping if that costs more than the product itself? I know that the company has a written policy to not provide return shipping but it is pretty shady to sell broken, if not USED, junk that costs less than the shipping itself. I feel pretty screwed over.
Furthermore, my negative product review for it on their website doesn't even show up! What a DISHONEST seller!
I too feel screwed over by Battery Junction's dishonesty. I have added my experience with them to this site as well. Thanks for taking the time to inform us consumers!
sorry about commenting on my own complaint. it was meant to go on another reviewer's page but somehow ended up here.
Hi Steven,
I appreciate your comments. You have every right to your opinion and your experience can indeed vary from mine. I stand by my claim and the photo clearly shows what I received. I did contact the store and got no remedy. I also contacted the Better Business Bureau about the shoddy product, shoddy customer service, and misleading product review web page, and still, Battery Junction refused to comment on their product and service quality.
I too saw the positive comments on CPF which was what led me to order from Battery Junction in the first place. I should have done more internet searching and realized the vast number of complaints on Battery Junction and their affiliated Shore Power business. Just because you had a different experience doesn't mean that your overall view on the company is truth. Also, why don't you explain to my why my negative but genuine product review did not stick on their product listing? Actually, why don't you order one of those and tell me if it's not junk? Battery Junction is a deceptive seller!

i don't know what you people are talking about...i've got a history of over 100 orders with batteryjunction over a period of 3 years) and never had one single instance of misrepresentation, poor quality product or failinbg to keep a commitment. Should you have a problem with anything you purchase from them, all you have to do is call them at [protected] and either speak to Nick, Don or someone else and they will resolve it. I belong to a lighting bulletin board called CPF (candlpowerforums.com) and batteryjunction has an above-excellent reputation among the members there.
I received a re-lable battery from Battery Junction some time ago and posted complaints in several places after numerous contacts with them. They refused to comment on the picture I sent them which clearly shows a re-labeled battery. This was my 4th or 5th order from them and will be my last. How do you argue with a picture clearly showing a re-labeled obviously used battery.
The proof in the pudding is in their answer to the complaint. They would not even admit shipping the battery even after I sent them the receipt. I could understand their Chinese supplier pulling a fast one without their knowledge. But to not even admit the sale shows me this goes much deeper than my order and possible many orders. Best to stay away from these people..
I ordered two different battery types from Battery Junction for my first purchase. The one type was clearly sold as a single battery. The other type that I purchased was a strip of 5, but I only was sent one battery. You have no idea how many emails back and forth I sent to them, asking for the missing 4 batteries. They refused to send them. Then the rep that I was dealing with said--sorry, I thought you were talking about the other battery. That battery was clearly a single battery, and that is what I received. This company is a nightmare. I still don't have my missing 4 batteries. They are a joke, and shouldn't be in business.
I've made many purchases from Battery Junction until I had a problem. Then they showed who they really are.
I purchased a flashlight and returned it because it wasn't what I thought it would be. I was given a RMA # and sent it back to them USPS. USPS shows that it was delivered and accepted at the address e-mailed to me for the return. Battery Junction/Shore Power claims they didn't receive it so they won't give me a credit towards another flashlight.
I've bought bulk quantities of batteries and they've sent batteries that were almost expired, batteries that have a shelf life of 10 years.
I'll never order from them again.
