On June 15th at approximately 4:14 p. m I called Best Western Hotel located at 5625 O'Donnell St, Baltimore, MD 21224 and inquired if there were any rooms available and what were their rates. The person at the front text notified me that there were rooms available and the rate with AAA would be 148.04 I said I would call back. After checking the rates on line I found a rate for 129.99. I was using my card but was booking the reservation for my sister. Once I put in all my Sister's information and email I used my card and it didn't go through. After putting my information/ billing address but leaving my sister's email address I got a confirmation number [protected]. Just to make sure I called Best Western and told them that I was booking the room for my sister and if it was a problem. The lady at the front desk assured me that there would be no problem and she would just add my sister's name to the reservation. After my sister arrived she called me and informed me that an Indian lady announced out loud that your sister's reservation was cancelled because her card did not go through. My sister informed me that she asked could she use her card for my reservation and was told no because it was through a third party and even though my reservation was cancelled they could give her a new reservation with an AARP discount she would be charged $125.00. After getting a new reservation my sister checked her email and in fact saw that my reservation did go through with the confirmation #[protected] and On Line itinerary number H6901423. I then checked my account and saw that I was not only charged $129.99 but also a $74.00 cancelation fee. When I called the hotel I was told that I would have to take it up with the third party. When I called [protected] I spoke with a male named Kim who told me he would have to speak with someone at the hotel to see if they in fact cancelled the reservation and he would put a ticket in. I called Best Western and apparently they recognized my number and had me on hold for over 15 min. When I called on another number still holding on the other line my called was immediately answered. I spoke to someone name Tiffinay who asked for my name and I told her I could give her my reservation number. When I gave it to her she said Oh it seems as though someone here canceled it. I asked who? and she said she didn't know so I said well who checked my sister in? and she said the initial here says RS because we don't give out our full name. I asked if someone there cancelled my reservation why was I being charged $204.71 and she said she would have her supervisor Doneshia call me back in the morning. I called the 1800 number again and spoke to Ailyn who attempted to explain to me why I was being charged for a cancellation fee in addition to the Hotel fee that my sister was not able to take. She told me to hold on and came back and told me she was told at the hotel that they were unable to find my reservation number. I said oh okay well let me let you listen to Tiffany who pulled up my cancellation number less then 10 minutes ago and said someone at the hotel cancelled my reservation saying my card didn't go through. After listening to my recording of my conversation with Tiffany. Ailyn at the 1800 who by the way at first did not want to give me her name as she said her coworker had already put in a ticket said Tiffany was the one who told her she couldn't find my reservation number. After she heard my recording of my conversation with the same exact person who told her she couldn't find my reservation number she said they would get in touch with me and to keep checking my email. Yes Best Western located at 5625 O'Donnell St, Baltimore, MD 21224 is working in conjunction with their on line booking agency to fraudulently charge you unauthorized fees by cancelling your reservations and getting additional money for their company. Please Do NOT Book ON LINE HOTEL RESERVATIONS if you don't want to sit on the computer at 11:37 at night after your bank tells you to work it out with the consumers first! So many companies are desperate for extra money and are not apologetic for trying to scam you out of your money. This world is spiraling down quick!

Desired outcome: Instead of my status being pending stop playing with my money. Why should my money be in pending status after trying to get paid twice.
