I made a payment to my Metro PCS account. The amount debited from my card was double the amount of the payment. I called customer service and they claimed they could not refund my money in a timely manor so I should just leave the overpayment on my account and let the next bill use the overpayment for payment of the mext months bill. Well, I'm on a very limited income and this would cause great hardship to me not to mention the fact that the Holidays are right around the corner and every penny counts. He finally told me to go into one of the Metro PCS stores and they would be able to reverse the erroneous charges. Please be advised that I do not own a vehicle and getting there was quite a hassle that cost me money for gas. Upon arriving at the store, the store manager advised me that he could not help me and gave me the number to Bill Matrix Customer Service 1-877-315-6074, so with that said I just spent another $15 just trying to correct a problem caused by Bill Matrix System. I spoke with an operator in Texas named Sonya who would not give out any information such as an operator number or location or store number where she was located in case I had to refer to her in the future. She advised me that she could only refund the entire amount and could not tell me if my phone would be disconnected. She could not provide me with a confirmation code or any sort of verification that the job had been taken care of. I really had a hard time with this because I get confirmations when I make payments so I do not understand why there is no way to send some kind of notification that the job had finally been done. I, at this point an very skeptical that the job was done. I feel this is a very unprofessional way to conduct business. I found her to be extremely short in the manner in which she provided service. I would like to see if some kind of changes can be made in not only your process of refunds but all education give to your representatives on how to handle similar situations in order to reassure customers that their concerns have been met. Please have someone contact me to reassure me that my request has been taken care of and that I will not loose service in the process of correcting this error. If by chance my phone is disconnected, please feel free to contact me on my lan line at [protected]. I am anxiously awaiting contact from someone who is trained enough to address my concerns. Thank-up for your time.

Yea Bill Matirx is the biggest scam and such a fricking rip off! $4.95 fee to pay my already 100+ bucks a month cable bill? WTF? I guess it all makes since considering this entire country (and world) is based upon one filthy "greed orgy" . I mean cum on..billmatrix, do you really think we are all that stupid? And the answer is of course YES! We are all that dumb, and it is getting worse every year. We will continue to be RAPEd by these greedy [censor] long after we are all dust on this [censor] hole of a planet!

Your friend,
Elmo

BillMatrix is a separate company and doesn't receive any money except for those processing fees. None of the money from the bill is sent to BillMatrix. So if you want to use their service, you have to pay for it. Simple as that. If you don't want to pay $4.95, use a different payment option.

tvince...sounds like you ARE BillMatrix...hmmmm?
There are NO other options when paying online than to pay their enormous fees to pay your bill. Why can't Indiana Michigan Power go back to accepting payment within their own company? Their customer service was fairly good! I have had nothing but absolute nightmares dealing with paying my deposit and starting my service using Bill Matrix let alone ongoingly paying the bill. Tonight, It won't take my payment. first it "timed out", then "timed out again"...now it just says it can't accept my payment at this time...twice! What good are you if you can't even take my money?

I'm done playing games with ###matrix (billmatrix) and my bank bouncing me back and forth on receiving a refund for THEIR screwup on May 6, and "supposedly" issuing a refund to my account. Bet they will move with a little more urgency once I obtain judgment for full amount of my refund, plus 17% interest as allowed by law, plus court fees, plus my damages as well. Done playing games with all of it, see ya in court! Got the paperwork ready to be filed at 830am sharp at the courthouse.

I'm going through the same thing right now. They are taking money out of my account to pay an electric bill in the South and I live in the North ! I am getting the run around and they are not refunding my money. They did it again this month so I have had to block my card and I'm still fighting for the two previous transactions they stole from my account and today the bank can help me try and dispute the charges. The whole thing is frustrating, it's wrong, the bank will not be able to help with the previous transaction as I didn't discover it until after 90 days...but they said Billmatrix should work with me. How do I start legal action ? Has this worked for you?

Billmatrix handles payment situations like amateurs. In a very specific time crucial situation they attempt to process a debit card payment as a check to prolong the process for 10 days. Then when requested to cancel the payment and process it as a debit which they were instructed to do in the first place, they state the payment cannot be made for another 3 days until the hold is released from the bank account. Absolutely pathetic way of doing business. Associates of this company should be ashamed of the their ability to provide any kind of costumer service or care. Though I'm sure these complaints mean next to nothing, I hope these employees understand how deplorable they are. If you find this harsh, my apologies, but go ____ yourselves Billmatrix

Use Bill Matrix at your own risk. At risk of my gas being disconnected because they altered my payment amount. Neither they, or the gas company will do [censor] about it. They simply insist that it's a lie. If you want your money stolen go right ahead and use them. Oh just an fyi for anyone that may not know/be able to find this, their parent company is Fiserve.

I don't even use any utilities or automotive services (Nissan) that use Billmatrix services. I never paid a bill using their website... I never knew they even existed until I saw a Billmatrix withdrawal on my checking account. I verified my internet, power and water companies and none of them use Billmatrix, they use different services. I called Billmatrix twice about an unauthorized charge and both times a different Indian woman answered my call. They are VERY DIFFICULT to understand, they just don't want to learn how to pronunciate correctly and slooooooow down when they talk. This is an easy way to know that a company is being very cheap and is low quality; when they outsource customer service to people in a third world country that are not trained well and do not intend to train them to help us correctly. The only thing they both told me was to call my bank and have them reject the charge. I have talked to my bank and any charges from Billmatrix will be rejected. Let's see what happens in the future. I have also just printed the South Carolina Consumer Complaint Form to mail out so there is a written record.
