Went to a gun show at cal expo. Two guys were touting the wonderful effects of the bionic band. Our buddies were tested and sure enough, it works. Went home that evening and googled bionic band scam. Read more into it and apparently it falls within the realms of "kinesiology". Basically in a nutshell, mind over matter.

At first, you don't know what to expect when they "push" you, or pry your fingers apart, or even tapping your drink with it. . . It is truly amazing at how gullible folks can be, and to be able to fork out the money for nothing.

I tried this at home with my son. I found an old barbie braclet that my daughter had lying around. I went through the same routine and the guys. Only, i told my son that the bracelet had some real powers that make him strong. Wouldn't you believe it. . . It worked.

If truly an amazing products, your local physical therapist would endorse the product. Oprah would endorse the product, your own personal physician would endorse it. This is just another mlm scam to let bring in money. Trust me, it will work with anything you wrap on your wrist. Just give it the "magical" powers that may be speech and you will find that they mind over matter does work.

It is the speech basically that your mother and father stated. . . "you can do it if you put your mind to it!. . . " good luck to those who still believe it works. Use your money to buy something that truly is beneficial.

Xeno,

But your argument is akin to the thought that because you read about and saw a picture of coolant on the ground, that the head gasket in your engine is bad. Without checking it for yourself, you are simply guessing or counting on the preceptions of others.
Now you want to compare and use a test for testing sperm in a blugill fish? They are using a video camera (looks like an observation) to see how they move. Than they froze (dead cells) the sperm to measure the ATP. Again, this is not an active testing of the ATP in a living being or human.

Xeno,

It is okay. You have nothing to refute the evidence provided. Every twist you have tried to apply to the science and your need for unrealistic "proof" that is not scientifical possible which I have proven that as well, you resort to name calling.

You have gone from "the study is not a test" to "bluegill fish" and I have proven your misunderstanding wrong everytime.
Troll away Xeno.

Xeno,

I understand getting "carried away" because each of us can and do. You now understand that the possibility does exist and that maybe, just maybe someone did find a cool homeopathic "tool" that helps people.

I admit that I do get carried away as well, in defense of the Bionic Band, but mainly against many that prejudge things not seem. All I have ever said to people is to give it a real try. I applaud you in being open minded to the potential that there are things out there (some will be discovered even today) that we do not yet fully understand and that can be of benefit to us.

I agree with you that consumers do need to be cautious. That is why when I do demonstrate the Bionic Band, I show people the right and wrong way the balance tests can be done, so that even if they don't purchase a Bionic Band, they at least understand the proper procedure/application of the balance tests.
I ask others watching (there is always a group around when I do demos) to make sure I push straight down and to make sure I do it right. Some people buy, but everyone leaves with the knowledge to protect themselves.

Keep an open mind to possibilities but, also by cautious and curious. Investigate and get the facts, not just someone’s opinion. I tell my kids to consider the source of the information. While I am a distributer and do sell the product, is my documentation and information plausible or feasible.

Thank you for at least considering that there is a possibility that it at least does something that people can feel and express.

Regards,
Owen

I got the bionic sleep from my parents. I have been an insomniac since the age of 14--eight years now. They basically plopped the thing in front of me, told me to put it on an hour or two before going to bed. And you wouldn't believe what happened---absolutely nothing. I got less sleep than usual because the damn thing was itchy as hell. My parents were dumb enough to get the bands to help them with their balance. All I could do was laugh in their face when they told me to stand on one foot and then try to push me over (no i didn't know what they were doing, i simply thought they were on crack) and guess what! They couldn't push me over. It really all is in your head. And more than likely, the people doing these 'tests' at their sales booths are probably pushing you in a different position of your body so you DON'T pull over--not to mention the people are now expecting to be pushed and so their muscles will tense and be ready for it.

They told me they bought the sleep band for my grandfather and he slept amazing and did great the next day. Well that's fine and dandy, but the man's nearly 80 and has NEVER had issues sleeping--more like the opposite. All the old man does is sleep :) As an insominac trying the sleep band, I am telling you for a fact this load of ### does NOT work. People telling you otherwise are either distributors trying to make a quick buck, or people have gotten a lot more ignorant and gullible. I'm just saying. I didn't know the cost for one of these bands until I read some of the reviews tonight. Money back guarantee or not--Don't bother! It's just a good way to get your identity either stolen or signed up for crap you don't want to be involved in.

I am a realist--sorry for the gullible people out there. But hey, if you think a fabric band with some metal in it---like a watch! can make you feel better, go ahead and hold that security blanket real tight!

The mind is a wonderful thing. Does it really matter if the band is what is helping or not? If you think it does and it helps great. It has helped my with my post op from shoulder surgery, very little pain as compared to before the band and more range of movement. I tried the same experiment as above with my girlfriend and the none bioband only helped a little compared to here normal self. I put the bioband on her and all of a sudden it was like night and day. By the way, my girlfriend doesn't watch tv so she has not seen any commercials, I did not tell her what was going to happen and she had not seen it done to me or anyone else. Double blind study.

I went to a Harley Rally last week, I purchased the band, I paid $110.00 for a braclet, all you non believers, you dont have a clue what you are talking about, may not work for you but myself and my brother both bought one and the outcome was just unreal, I had shoulder problems and leg problems, and I could not bend over without getting so dizzy that i could not hardley stand up, now I can bend over and no problems what so ever, All my friends new how bad the dizzy spells were that I had, and none of them can beilive what they see now, I am 60 years old, and I would have not believed this at all if it didnt happen to myself and my brother also.

Well I also met a guy Terry from the Bionic Band at a Crossroads of the West Gun Show at Del Mar Fair Grounds in mid December. I watched him for a little while doing why he call his Demo. I was very skeptical and thought there was no was it worked finally my buddy tried it and then convinced me to try it. I must admit there was something to the balance and strength test he did. He then told me that it also helped with pain, well being 50 I have a few pains, he actually put a little Tattoo on me and told me to wander around for a while and see how I felt. In less than an hour my knee pain that is ALWAYS there was almost completely gone. So I went back to his booth and purchased a band. He told me they offer a 30 day Money Back Guarantee. If I wasn't satisfied he would refund my "no questions asked" Well it has been over 30 days and I have no intention of returning this band. Since wearing this band my knees and my shoulder have felt better than they have felt in years. So I will tell you like Terry told me. What have you got to lose but your pain. I am now a Believer in the Bionic Band. I have since purchased several more for family members and they are also now feeling much better. If you want to get a band or try one out you can find him on the web. www.bionicband4all.com

Yep, more ### testimonies that do nto demonstrate the band doing anythign at all. IT'S A PLACEBO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF THE BAND DOING ANYTHING ITSELF. The ASA reviewed the eidence that Bionic Band have and told them they had nothing that actually showd it did anything. If you blieve it does somethign you have been conned. As for the pain relief claims, Teryy is breakign the law if he is sellign the Bionic bnad for pain relief, it needs FDA approval to be sodl for theat, whcih Bionic Band do not have, because t get it they woudl need to subit it for testing, and since it does nothign and is just a palcebo it woudl nto pass. so they rpefer to con ill peopel instead by usign testimonies and lying about it actually havign any effect. Lying to sell something to peple who are genuinely ill makes Terry total ### in my view.

Well Fangio, first off, you may want to learn how to type LOL your typing Sucks. Terry did not guarantee me it would relief pain, what he told me was it has helped him with his knee pain. and if I was not satisfied he would refund my money. I also purchased one for my mother who I take care of and she is 82. She has balance / stability issues, so I thought I would try a Jewlery bracelet for her to see if it would help. I just gave it to her as a late christmas gift and didn't tell her anything about what it was for, she just thought it was a pretty bracelet. Well after wearing it for 3 weeks I have noticed a remarkable difference, she very seldom uses her walker or a cane, and is now able to get up out of her recliner without someone helping her. So you can say it is bull crap all you want but for me and my Family it has made a big difference. As far as the FDA is concerned LOL what a joke that is as if they or the Medical Profession has a stellar track record, Why do you think doctors call it a PRACTICE? Because we are the dummies they are practicing on LOL

Where did I say Terry guaranteed it woudl work for pain relief? I said he sold a palcebo on ther basis of pain relief. I cooul dnot care less about whether a guarantee is offered, that just means that people who get a placebo benefit are scammed into buying the product.

No once has anyone offered a single scientific way in which this band works that has any basis in anything other than complete fantasy. Sellign such a product to peopel on the basis fo pain relief, as I said is illegal, it has NEVER been tested at all for such an application, and is the modern day snake oil. Sales people using this tactic are ###, pure and simple. You say it doeswn't matter as it has made a difference, no, scamming people with a placebo does matter, especially in medical situations.

So unless you have scientific proof it can't possibly work. What kind of a ###ic idea is that? For it to have a placebo effect someone would have to know or have an expectation of how it was going to help. In the case of my mother, she had no idea there was anything to the bracelet when she started wearing it 3-4 weeks ago. But now I as well as several others including her doctor have noticed improved results for her. The beautiful thing is, this is America and we are all free to believe whatever we choose. I will continue to wear the band and send my friends and associated to Terry to try out the Bionic Band and take him up on his 30 day Satisfaction Guarantee. And you can continue to keep your head buried in the sand or up your butt with your belief that unless someone shows me scientific proof you can't believe it will work philosophy. "God Bless America" but wait I assume you must not believe on God either since you don't have Scientific Proof "Make it a Great Day" Rock On with the Bionic Band www.BionicBand4All.com

No, unless you have scientific proof then selling it to ill people as a possible alleviation for their illness is plain wrong! What's difficult to understand about that?

No for a placebo effect you do not need to know what it is meant to achieve. In addition, for it to be put down to the band you woudl need to show how it did it, and discount any other potential reasons for improvement. So the anecdote whilst heart warming is completely and utterly useless as evidenc of a band with no actual science behind it whatsoever having had an effect.

Every double blind placebo test carried out by every independent body has shown the band has no effect. Bionic Band have zero evidence that the band "aligns" the protons, zero evidence that such an alignemtn would have any effect whatsoever, and zero evidence that it does a damn thing to alleviate pain or improve balance strength etc, so they are charlatans selling ill people an item whihc has NEVER been shown to have improved anything. It's a con, If you think that onmen shoudl be allowed to sell whatever they like with zero credible science behind it to ill people you are a seriously devoid of any morals. Seriously I find your attitude sickening.

PS, I know Bionic Band have absolutley no evidence that it works because their UK Distributor pulled his website when the ASA said he either had to provide evidence of his claims or change his site. Didn't have any evidence so pulled out.

Fangio you have really got your panties in a twist over this Bionic Band. I could really care less what you think of my attitude. Sounds like you are a little Anal retentive and need to have absolute scientific proof before you want to try anything. Well you poor little man. Tell you what You have your opinion and I have mine and I plan to continue enjoying the Bionic Band and telling everyone I know about it. Because for me it WORKS. And really that is all that matters. No, but some proof would be nice rather than completely made up claims, and people making money out of selling a placebo.

As for having my panties in a twist, this is a compalint board, yet you have your panties in a twist so much that you have searched for it, and come on here to post up more garbage promoting it to ill people.

the fact is that there is zero evidenc ethat this product has ever provided any health benfits, any improvements are placebo or coincidence caused by other circumstances. Ill people are being conned, you thin that's ok I think it makes the salespeople ###. If they have not got the integrity to find out HOW the product is supposed to work (which is psuedoscience of the highest order) and ensure that there is actually some evidence it does a damn thing before peddling this garbage then they are simply out to make money from ill people. ###.

If you think you don't need the band to actually have any way of working, but that the band is responsible for any improvements despite having no way of making those improvements you are an idiot. As the Chairman of the ACCC in Australia said about a similar product, you might as well wear a rubber band for all the good it does.

Here is what I know. I am 45 yrs old and just recently took a hard physical labor job. I have lifelong neck and back injuries from car accidents when I was younger. So, taking a job that required bending, stooping, lifting and stacking 40-50 lb. items for 8-12 hrs. a night was out of the question. But I was desperate to get a job after being unemployed for six months, so I took it. It was literally killing me! I thought I would be crippled before I got my first paycheck! I bought a BionicBand a year ago, then lost it and just re-found it about a week after starting that job. And guess what? I am still working! I am, by no means, pain free but my recovery time has increased 100% since putting on the band. Now some of that can be written off as getting used to the job but remember I was ready to quit before I re-found my band. Like the coach on the first page said, could the increased performance be psychological? Yes, but so what. Improvement is improvement. Could you temporally trick yourself into mimicking the effects of the band? Sure, but are you going to remember to do that 24hrs a day? So, psychological or not, I feel and increase in performance when I am wearing the band. And as far as people making money selling them or it being an MLM, I have no problem with that. In fact, I have considered selling them myself. They would be an easy sell based on all the testimonials here and my personal experience!

I bought one of these years ago based on the salespitch of balance and strength. After a week, my arthritis was gone. I wore it faithfully for years...every so often taking it off when I got in my hot tub. Sometimes I'd forget to put it back on...and a few days later I'd ache really bad in my joints...put it back on...few days later I'd feel better. I went thru the same cycle many times with the same results...and each and everytime...I did it without realizing it until the pain reminded me...so no...it's NOT mind over matter...there is something REAL in that little piece of metal...
