At 17.48 today I received a text from my bank to advise that someone attempted at 17.42 to make a card payment to this company of £90 from my current account. I immediately contacted my banks security and following conversation with them was able to demonstrate that this was a fraudulent attempt. I learned that the transaction had been declined. I was reassured that I had lost no funds, however my card has been stopped and I have to wait up to a week for a replacement. As a disabled older person this will cause me much difficulty. I shall be making sure that these details are posted far and wide to help stop this criminal activity.
