I work in a physician's office and a patient of ours, who is being treated for an inflammatory condition, is being denied the medication she has been on for the last few years. MedImpact will not review additional information showing what medication the patient has been on and instead told us they will not review again and that we have to file an appeal to the North Carolina Department of insurance commissioners. This is jeopardizing her health. This is the worst company that I have had to deal with in all my years of working in the medical field.
Desired outcome: Prior authorization for our patient.
