Gross negligence
My family and I have been coming to this office for years. Unfortunately I will never go back.
They were completely unprofessional and due to their gross negligence my daughter has been left untreated and in pain.
I called to schedule a filling and explained that we had been seen by a different dentist for a cleaning where they advised my daughter needed a filling. I explained this to the office, when my husband arrived with my daughter for her appointment they told him the appointment was for “Sealants” and not for fillings.
I called the office from work to explain that was incorrect. The office then told my husband they didn’t have time to take x-rays and do the fillings. My daughter left in pain.
I then called to schedule the appointment for the next day 12/6 at 4:40. They called me in the morning after confirming the time to tell me they over booked and couldn’t see my daughter at that time, I had to take off work early then to take her to the appointment.
I was furious, the office manager tried to put the responsibility on my husband by lying and said he canceled the appointment the previous day. I told her that was not true they told him they didn’t have time to take the X-rays and do the fillings and needed to take responsibility for their mistakes.
So I get to the office, they take the X-rays then tell me they can’t do the filling and will have to refer me to a pediatric dentist.
I ask the office for a referral in my network that accepts my insurance, the rude and unprofessional women by the name of, Iayera Jackson, then said it was my job to find a dentist that would accept my insurance…even though they were referring me?!?!
I asked them to email me the X-rays so I could give them to the next dentist and Iayera Jackson proceeds to tell me they only took X-rays of the left side of the mouth, I explained that was not true I watched them take X-rays of both sides. She continued to tell me “no, they didn’t.” So I asked her to get the X-ray tech and ask her, she then says “oh my mistake they did take both sides” Yes! I know I was there!
We left and now have another appointment with a competent dentist. But due to this office’s gross negligence my child is still in pain has been left untreated and I had to leave work early
Oral surgery service
I rushed my little sister in for an infected wisdom tooth extraction. The exam and x ray appointment went very well on bright now pico rivera, and was scheduled an appointment for oral surgery at bright now south gate, on 9918 atlantic ave south gate, ca 90280 on 9/10/22 at 7am in the morning. 1st issue i had was we were there on time at 7am but we were called at 9:40AM. Also i was waiting for someone to explain to me how the procedure will be done and everything but nobody did and just straight up gave us the description on what they will do and the price. I was charged extra for stuff nobody explained to me and cost me 1100 when i only expected it to only be around 600 for one wisdom tooth extraction. They also advised us to not eat or drink 8 hours prior to surgery for no reason. We expected that she will be put in sleep for it to be painless. Since their office is running all late and they started m6y sister at 9:40am instead of 7am and other people with oral surgery at 8-10am starts to check in, i feel like they rushed the procedure and skipped vital steps, because first my sister came outside crying in severe pain, with intense bleeding and dizzy and lightheaded. She told me every lthing about the procedure was painful and they did not put her in sedation. I ended up replacing her gauze multiple times cuz its bleeding a lot. When she comes out i asked the assistant with her on post surgery care and was in a rush and just told me that she can eat everything no limitations, and she should be ok.
I am willing to pay that $1100 for her treatment if it was done correctly. I do not mind, but since i saw my sister crying for hours in pain and i felt that she was neglected throughout the procedure, she was traumatized and when i am driving her back home she keeps saying over and over while crying in pain that they told her the procedure wouldnt hurt and painless. She keeps saying to me that she felt neglected and complains about everything, my sister said she was crying from pain during the procedure and nothing was done to make it better for her. Seeing her that way, broke my heart and made me upset about their service. I dont mind them being late sched and not communicating to me for the necessary procedures, but seeing my sister and traumatizing her, that she feels neglected by the procedure, made me really upset about the service we’ve received. My complaints are 1) 2-3hrs late. 2) bad to no communication for patients. 3) the surgery was rushed / skipped vital essential steps for it to be painless, not putting her to sedation even when the assistant told us that she will be put to sleep so she advised us to fast for 8 hrs before surgery. 4) Expensive for service not met.
I would like to have a 50% refund. because of all the bad service we were given. I would like it to be fair and square, they did not treat my sister’s procedure with 100% of them, then there is no reason for us to pay full in service they lack.
Desired outcome: I would like to have a 50% cost refund.
Better pics of the overpriced charged service highlighted are the code number we received are not matching the prices on the dental plan paper. Full bony extrac we got charged $420 on the plan its $395. Bone ridge was charged $600 on the plan its $290. Nitrous we were charged $112 on the plan its for $74.
I have a list of dental plan prices and from what they charged me its overpriced.
The receptionist desiree seems to be rude and treats us in a discriminating manner.
In July my sons went for their yearly exam and she just had an attitude that is just hard to deal with. Today August 4th I call because I got a message saying we had a missed appointment which was not possible because we never scheduled an appointment. Anyway I do not think people that do not have the best interest in others should work in place where they have everyone's information and try to manipulate the system for whatever malicious purpose. What is more bothersome is how rude she acts with children.
Desired outcome: Give a warning to the employee and if it continues they should let that employee go. If they do not like working with the public they should not be there period.
Orthodontics
Upon coming to bright now dental I signed up for their dental financing and my insurance paid the rest. I paid about $1900 with dental insurance covering $3200. This was to include full treatment, adjusted and a permanent retaining. From the beginning my adjustment were a little sporadic due to a high risk pregnancy and bed rest. After immediately hit covid. The office was closed, and when open you weren’t allowed to bring children. As my husband works the one day the had the orthodontist in, it was really hard to get in. On top of that they had two orthodontist quit. Causing long waits to be seen for treatment. When I called together to schedule a late adjustment (we had covid and then strep, I was frustrated I couldn’t get in. I have had a severe toothache and can’t be seen to get it fixed without my wires being taken out. Once I made a fuss I was told oh actually you missed your last two finance payments (which I was unaware of and was never mentioned to me previously or in the past year.) and I couldn’t be seen. It was finally agreed as a “courtesy” I could come in and they would at least remove them if I paid the remaining $200 on finance again that I was unaware of. They refused to finish treatment and told me I could go to another orthodontist and seek treatment. Absolutely a scam and I would not suggest anyone ever use their services if you want to receive a positive care experience. It was the “officer manager of Washington” that I spoke with, so she said when I asked to speak with a manager. All I expected was my final adjustment and my care to be finished but apparently since covid and pregnancy pushed me a year over the original time I don’t receive that, even with medical documentation, the office being shut down and limited, and lack of orthodontists to see patient. Seriously RUN!
Desired outcome: Ensuring my braces outcome was full complete, removal and permanent retainer. Or credit for not recovering the care I was supposed to from the beginning.

My experiences at Bright Now Dental at 5726 B Buckeystown Pike, Frederick, MD 21704 were extremely traumatic for 2 years. I suffered discrimination as Deaf person and mistreatment by Joann the manager and doctors. No interpreter provided on VRI for cavity work on July 8th, 2022, I repeatedly asked for it but I was ignored. I was terrified since I did not have cavity done for 45 years. It is against ADA law that I was not provided with interpreter. I was told by one worker that I should not pay for cavity in Colorado because cavity occurred after crown was implanted. One lady who cleaned my teeth over a year ago did extremely poor job in 5 min. It was painful to go through this because I felt like I was treated like I did not exist. I asked Joann for phone number so I could speak with someone regarding filing compliant against this place but I did not get the number. She kept on saying the department would call me and hung up on me. I had difficult time getting food out of the crown which resulted in cavities above the crown and behind the crown (2nd molar). I had to wait over 3 months for fixing my crown and filling 1 cavity covered by medical assistance in MD plus last minute cancellation on June 26th as my time ran out in Maryland so I had to leave for Colorado. I am not supposed to pay for evaluation and cavity in Colorado. It is like I am paying for their mistakes.
Desired outcome: I want this resolved. They need to pay for cavity done in Colorado.
Billing.
My last visit was on February 2022 at the Medina, Ohio location. On 07/05/2022 I received a call from your collections department. You obviously have my address yet, you never send me a bill! Instead, you send it over to your collections department only to have them call me on the phone. Seriously? The receptionist who I spoke with tells me this is the way you do business. Well, I'll never do business with Bright Now Dental again. Furthermore, I will also be warning potential patients to seek dental treatment elsewhere. Ridicules.
Desired outcome: Send me my dental records so I can move on.

We have been dealing with this dentist since 1/26/2022.
We went in because my husband's tooth broke, We decided to have a partial made. That process took almost 4 months, 3 months with no tooth because they had us get it removed to make the impression for the partial and then it took until 4/19/22 to actually get the partial so he had to go without a front tooth all that time which was extremely embarrassing. We had to go back because it kept falling out.
On 6/21/22 it broke.
we went in on Wed 6/22/22 to make a new mold and have it replaced or fixed. They said it would be back on Friday 6/24. I called Friday and they said it broke again and they would need another impression done and to come in Monday 6/27 at 8 am so they could do it and get it back to the lab asap. We went Monday and they said it will be ready Wednesday 6/29/22. Again, I called and she said it would be guaranteed to be in by 10 am on Thur 6/30/22. I called this morning and it is still not there.
This is absolutely unbelievable and has been the worst experience in my life in a dentist's office. My husband is going to a family reunion in another State Sat and they knew this and said not to worry, it would be done.

They can't seem to distinguish between a cleaning and xrays - bad place for dental work
I have now tried at two different Bright Now Dental offices in my area to get my teeth cleaned there. Both times I had an appointment for cleaning and got there and was told no cleanings were available - but they would xray (1 office) or xray and exam at the 2nd) and I could come back another day for a cleaning! Now, both times I made it very clear I wanted my teeth cleaned. Both times when I arrived at their offices I was given the run around about their procedures, their mistakes and how sorry they were but despite the fact I had an appointment for a dental cleaning, none were available!
Don't go to Bright Now Dental - I am not sure what their front office issue is, but they seem to be incompetent and their appointment schedulers and their front desk seem to live on different planets...! Bad, bad, bad place to go unless you just want to be upset!

On Saturday September 25, 20122 I went to Bright Now dental in Los Angeles on Sepulveda off Manchester to have a too removed after going to the dentist complaining of pain. This tooth end up breaking due to needing a root canal. The dentist I saw that day struggled to pull the piece of tooth which end up rippling my gums and exposing the bone within. My gums was swollen for over a month. However my gums never came down. I went back and complaining that I was still in pain and the medication that he gave me was making me sick. Let me add that he put in stitches that was desolvable. The other dentist I seen asked why I did not come back to follow-up appointment which I was never offered and he was shocked not just by my gums but the service as a whole. This is effecting my self confidence when I smile. Bad enough I had a bridge put in years ago and one tooth is way thicker than the next which maybe why it was difficult to pull the tooth that broke. He is is about to be 2 month on the 18th of November. These pictures was taken last week. I am still awaiting an email or email address from company so decided to just file a complaint because of the run around that I am being giving. I still have not heard from the director of complaints from Bright Now. They had the office call and make me another appointment to see the same person who did the damage in the 1st place. He tried to attempt to inject me without telling me what it was he was about to do on Saturday November 6th. I couldn't allow myself to allow that to happen. No details was given as I said on whatever it was he thought he was going to do so I refused his service. Today I am still awaiting a call or follow up appointment with new dentist.

How do you make money turning down customers that forgot there masks. A 2 cent mask! I keep extra in my car I rode my bike and forgot. And I am vaccinated. If I owned the business you would give a mask. The price of business out weighs the cost of the mask.
Desired outcome: I will take my business else where. Dr Jordan isn't there anyway.
Unprofessional and horrible Customer service
I went in today thinking I was getting my front tooth fixed and that wasn't the case. Both ladies that worked on me today were rude and extremely inconsiderate! They were making rude comments about me missing teeth. After getting 2 needles and waiting for whatever reason she started and 5 min later she states my tooth is too decayed and someone needs to pull it but they don't have anyone to do it. That was the end of it and I am extremely extremely extremely unhappy with the ending result. I feel disrespected and belittled! I DONT KNOW IF I WANT TO GO BACK TO BRIGHT NOW AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE! I am not happy at all.

I went in to bright and dental to have my crown that was ordered. Assistant removed the temp. She placed the crown to see if it fit and it did, one the doctor came in and tried to remove the crown it was as if they had mounted in, but it wasn't. So after struggling to remove it was impossible. I was sent home and have another appointment in about a month to remove the crown that was put on me, but they are going to order another crown and charge me for it again. I don't think it's right I pay for another crown that it's their fault that they left some of the stick paste cement not sure what it's called and crown got stuck in.
That's why I'm. Complaining cause I shouldn't be charge again for a mistake they made. The staff is good but not happy that I was told come back in month and we will have to remove that crown and order another one, but you will need to pay again. That's where I just don't think it's far and right.
Desired outcome: When they replace my crown they don’t recharge me for it.

It's a lot to type but the office is manager has no class and is very rude from the time I walked in she had a attitude with me for no apparent reason and was belittling me in front of other patients she also put her hand up in my face and became confrontational and Sam rear snatch the bib from around my neck! Appointments were made by me in 2019 & 2020 & cancelled by Bright Now. In 2019 I was fitted for back teeth partials a couple times & never received them. In 2020 a pandemic hit. Finally, in 2021 I made another appointment for an annual exam & it was cancelled by Bright Now! I want a full refund for the partials I paid for. Front desk service rude
