Couldn't cancel on site, messaged you but had no reply, on banks advice I cancelled my cards to stop payments.
I now have 2nd reminder, (never had a 1st) asking me to pay 96.62 Euro.
Is this another scam just like your site?

How can I possibly of canceled when you didn't reply, and have no system explaining how to cancel on your site?

Can you please reply to me on [protected]@hotmail.com so this can be sorted please, my next step is to contact Lemberg Law as I believe other members of yours who have complained have done.

I signed up to this website, after a short time I realised that's it not the website for me. What has since alarmed me is there's no way to cancel the membership through their website, there's no phone number either.



After some research of their Terms and Conditions I realised I had to send an email and fill out their Model Withdrawal Form. I think this is highly unusual but fine. I've sent that via email along with a cover letter. I've done this well within their 14 day notice period. Literally 1 day after signing up.

I've sent this several times now as you can see from my email inbox screenshot, the replies are just automated which I've included for reference too. I've also included the Model Withdrawal Form and cover letter for reference.

I've since researched the company and there are hundreds of bad reviews stating that you simple can't cancel your membership and your are then moved onto a really expensive monthly membership. If you don't pay your details are passed onto their debt collection agency and then you are hit with hundreds of pounds of unwanted costs. This is simply unacceptable.

If this happens it's breach of EU consumer rights and UK contractual consumer rights. If a customer has made it clear that they do not want a service and for that service to be terminated then oblige in a manner befitting a trust worthy company.

I make a pertinent point, if debt collectors are issued against me then I put you on notice of my administrative charge of £500 p/h payable by yourselves in any event.

I simply want confirmation that my account has been cancelled and my personal data has been removed from their database.

Joined their free service, not personally inputting any bank or PayPal details then a few days later they've moved my account to "premium" extra poor service! And took £9.99 from my account without permission or me setting anything up. Now I'm tied to a monthly fee for website that doesn't function nor offer the service they promt.

This is theft! Trading standards will be notified ive had to cancel PayPal and affiliate cards also. Right headache.

In August I made the mistake of creating an account and trying the service out for a week according to their offer at that moment.

But they immediately made me pay a full month. Which I canceled immediately by e-mail.

Now in december, I receive an email from a payment provider threatening with other action. So to make sure I do not get into more trouble I paid that bill seemingly for August. Which I canceled with the legal period (14 days in the EU).

When I paid the amount to my surprise my account wasn't deleted but reactivated. Like WTF. Now I've been trying to contact the company without any response, on whichever email they provide.

This is a horrible situation and this is borderline criminal behavior.

I signed up for a free trial, and it was not made clear that that I was signing up for premium membership, or that payment would automatically renew. I tried using the online cancellation form as advised, but was unable to use it on my Android phone or Chromebook. I contacted your support for help, but they ignored the problem I had reported, making it impossible to cancel. Since then my old credit card expired and payment failed, and I'm being pursued by a debt collection agency. It is quite clear that you do not make your terms clear when people sign up, you make it extremely difficult to cancel (not just my opinion - check out all the complaints on this website) and most of the members are fake. As you have given me no way to cancel, and you are not providing the service you state, I would be grateful if you would cancel my subscription with immediate effect.

They replied me once, since I opened a PP case and promised me to refund me if I close the case. Done it a week ago and still no reply.

The website say I can cancel my membership anytime, however is impossible since no option to do so.

No contact no reply no communication. Will continue to send 2-3 emails daily and post their scam webpage everywhere to avoid.

Signed VIP to Cdate £9.90 trial for a month. Tried everything I could to cancel the subscription two weeks in advance. Sent emails. As who uses fax these sites days. I then got an email two weeks later saying I owed them over £ 39.00. I emailed back saying I emailed them wishing to cancel. They hadn't. I removed my info. Logged out and took the c date app of off my phone. Cancelled Pay Pal payment so they couldn't take money. Two weeks later threats of a debt collector.if I don't pay in the next week which is now £49.00. I have not paid and in addition blocked c date from my email. It is very worrying being in this predicament. After reading on online so many other unfortunates have also repythe exact same problems. Even recieving letters from the debt collectors. This is a total scam. C date should be closed down. It is unexeptable what they are doing total frauds. I'm going to totally ignore them

To Whom it may concern. I wish to cancel my subscription to your site. I have realised, that this site appears to be fraudulent, so the terms and conditions are not relevant legally. I have cancelled my credit card, so I cannot be billed for a service I am not getting. stupidly joined up only to realise it is a con. I downloaded the form provided in their terms and conditions and emailed it + faxed it. i have also cancelled my card so that they can't try to scam me, I will lose the 9.99 but thats better than losing hundreds.

they make it impossible for you to cancel within the first 2 weeks, they want to make sure that you pass that threshold so that they can carry on scamming you.

how is this company allowed to operate?

It is virtually impossible to cancel my subscription. Should I just cancel my payments. I have notified them by email and have had no response

Hi I've cancelled c-date subscription after 1 use to which I paid £9.99 but now I have received email asking for £49.99 payment and threatening to use other means to collect payments. Absolutely there is no bloody way to talk to someone or live chat to explain. Not sure how I am going to cancel this again which I thought I had as that's how I have read online because internet full of people who have been scammed by these fraud's.

Been caught out by this scam site, faced them with my cancellation request as they state you must do in order to cancel. No response and no delivery receipt so I'm guessing even the fax number is a scam. Cancelled the payments so will be waiting for debt collection letters which will be going in the bin.

I purchased the subcription accidentally. Or you can say i have been stupid to buy premium service. I immediatley sent request to cancel within minutes. I am still awaiting reapond. And i am worried looking at so many negative reviews. Will i even get my money back?
I have sent several emails and they just say they will get in touch but they never have. I regret visiting their site. If i don't get my refund, i will report them. I will bear some damage myself, but i will not let them digest my money easily. I am sure they will regret as well.

I don't recall signing up for this service which is clearly a scam tried to cancel to no avail

I have contacted my bank and monies owed have been returned to my account.
Now I have a CMS letter from debt collectors trying to obtain money from me.

This seems to be happening to lots of people it's extremely stressful.

A fee of £39.40 as been withdrawn from my PayPal without my permission.
I have also sent many emails to cancel whatever account I have with C-Date with still no outcome.

This is discacefull and robbery

I want this resolved ASAP

I tried cancelling my membership but it was impossible so I had to cancel my Visa card to stop them taking money and now they have a collection company threatening my with legal action over €60

I want to cancel my membership because this site was clearly a scam, no genuine profiles,

At this stage I will be happy to pay the €60 if they cancel my membership and leave me alone

They state they require a FAX to cancel. No one uses them anymore.
The site is a total scam!
Please do not use them.
I have cancelled by email and cancelled my card. Try to sue me if they wish. More bad publicity.

Close my account I didn't want this it was done with out my knowledge so close my account I'm in close contact with authorities and collect proof that I've tried to cancel as I have contacted you through every possible Avenue on social media so if you think not cancelling my account will get you more money then your wrong so stop wasting my time cancel and confirm this in email but the end of the week

THE 1 month premium membership with C-Date ended today 11.09.21 and I've received an email of an outstanding payment. On the date I opened the account (11.08.21) I immediately cancelled my renewal via PayPal and via the C-Date app via in settings as the confirmation email advised. I can't believe I've been threatened with debt collectors etc for a service I knew I only wanted to try and cancelled because I had no intention of renewing. C-date are asking me to pay £50 for another month. I can't contact anybody because the website immediately asks me to pay them the money and my access to the app has now been blocked. I'm not paying for a service I know longer wish to use and all I'm asking for is for the C-Date to be fair and realistic.
