I am currently cybersecurity student and I should have achieved my course on May 6th 2022.
I should but, because of facts I am not responsible about, precisely decisions made by CDI College with no explanation and without providing any legal basis, my course has been postponed twice, to May 13th then to May 20th.
My practicum, scheduled to end on May 20th, has been abruptly ended two weeks and a half before its end, as I was concerned about the fact there was no learning and the topics listed in the contract where not provided by the host, so I expressed this issue to the practicum coordinator as written in the contract. Since then no way to get any answers to my questions, my emails have been ignored, and after ten days I have been notified that I was dropped off as a student, that the process would take about four to five weeks so I would, maybe, be able to redo a practicum in... July 2022.
I contacted the supervisor who reproached me that I asked to much and the host could not provide the tasks listed in the contract... All my requests since then have been ignored, I contacted the upper supervisor and didn't get any satisfactory answer, I escalated again and the person didn't acknoledge my email and, of course, didn't answer me.
That means I am deprived of any possibility to achieve my practicum and graduate, I found a potential host two weeks ago but couldn't proceed as CDI college refused to provide me dates for the practicum, I found another host who seems eager to provide me a valuable work experience but I still have no practicum dates and no answer from CDI college.
My request for legal document justifying such actions have been ignored, so I can believe there's no legal basis to justify my current situation.
Desired outcome: Please address the situation so I can enroll in a practicum and achieve my course in a timely manner. This is an emergency.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
CDI College - Refund
I jave been waiting since Nov for my refund. I have been told to email acsw they told me to email the finance department the finance department gave me a woman's name to email I got no reply then I was given Jason's name then he told me that my refund was on its way I emailed him and he denied emailing me and says he doesn't work in that department and told me to email acsw I jave been sending emails for 5 months no one responds I haven't gotten my refund this school is a joke

CDI College - Hacked account
I have reached out to the ACSW my practicum coordinator and my facilitator. My account on Microsoft was hacked password has been changed and no one will assist me I cannot do school work cause I cannot get into my account. I sent several emails and was told by my facilitator that it wasn't her problem as she teaches. I am so over this school and there lack of organization. They have no regard with helping there students.

Good morning, this email is meant to be received by head office. Im currently enrolled in one of your Edmonton campuses. For the past 6 months my entire class of 17 students have been struggling to dispute our issue with text books, and getting a refund as we either had to go buy our own to use, had them from previous or didn't ever receive books we were paying for. Our class had gotten a resolution 6 weeks ago when the director and samantha came to our class stating what we were to receive as a a refund and that we would receive this refund within 4-6 weeks of signing the refund documents. Yesterday was the exact day of waiting 6 weeks for this refund and we were all told that we were to go down and speak to advisors about cheques and when I went down there, for one they denied saying they'd be ready in 4-6 weeks however 17 students will tell you the same thing they told us. And two they are saying they are only now sending in our paper work this week which is now going to take much longer to receive this refund and there's nothing they can do. I'm upset as I budgeted to get this money back (money I wasn't supposed to pay in the beginning) for my children's daycare, food and other Bill's that have been falling behind and now I'm being told we aren't receiving them this week... I went in 3 weeks ago asking if there was any way I could receive mine closer to the 4 week mark as I've been financially struggling at home and the financial advisor I spoke to said I cant make promises but they should be in closer to the 6 week mark as at that time she was just sending our paper work in - that was 3 weeks ago...in the meantime I'm not sure where to bring my children come this following Monday as I now can't send the money I was told we'd receive. I'm a worried parent wondering how I'm going to feed my children next week. This is not the first time weve encountered issues with this campus, were constantly being told one thing and another thing happening. I'm so tired of the games I've had to endure with the staff at the school, and why they feel the need to constantly continue to make ongoing issues for myself and classmates. These 17 students are extremely fed up with all that weve endured in class and with your staff, and we would like something to be done about all of this. Like I told the director yesterday we were told to pay our fees in a timely manner, so they didn't have to chase us down for payment, and I did so, but they dont have to refund me money in the timeline stated that shouldn't have even came out of my own pocket to begin with... there is a huge double standard and lack of professional responsibility within your staff. I could continue on as like I stated before this is not the one and only issue weve encountered, however this is our main issue currently that I would like something done about this.
Same issue with the book thing for half the students in my class.exact same campus. I can’t believe this place!
