I had a very disappointing experience at FreshCo in Whitby located on Brock Street (south of Dundas) on July 7/21. The cashier was extremely disrespectful. I patiently waited my turn in line and then paid for my groceries. I had purchased approximately $120 of product so it was a fairly large amount of items to pack. There are usually two sides to put items so while one customer packs a next can be cashed out. One side, presumably due to covid, is closed so the next in line is forced to wait for the person ahead to move on. I was horrified when the cashier told me to hurry up! I asked her if she was seriously telling me to go faster and she responded yes because she had others in her line. Maybe it's time to go back to Sobeys, No Frills, Metro, or one of the many other supermarkets in my neighborhood! In my opinion this was extremely rude and a poor example of customer service.
