Cabela's and Fenwick review: FenwickHMX70M-FS2 7'O"

Received the above pole as gift, from my wife, and the first time I was able to use it was in May, 2022. Purchased Dec 31, 2021, Cast out and caught a small trout and top half broke into before I could get it to shore. Contacted Cabela's was told it was out of warranty, to contact Fenwick customer service.

Still hasn't been resolved 1 month later.

Cabela's should have a better return policy, I was told by the salesman when purchasing the pole it was warrantied for a year.
