I purchased Filemaker Pro Advanced 10 with my credit card for $124.99. Downloaded the software then discovered that I had to download more software to open an .rar file. Opened the file then discovered that the text file included in the folder that was supposed to have the KEY, did not, had no information about the key or how to get it. I cannot install the software. I sent a support email from their website. NO response. They state wait 48 hours, so I did, sent more support emails, plus support requests from my email. They also have a credit card chargeback disclaimer on their website AND a 3 day "end of download" period. I called my credit card company and they said that the disclaimer will allow the seller to charge me a $100 fee if I report back to my credit card. I decided to keep trying to get them to work it out. Now, 5 days later, no one email or phone call have I received from CheapestLegalSoftware.com. I am so disappointed. I used my birthday money from my children to buy this software. Now I have nothing. I have been cheated and lost what is alot of money to me. I hope that no one else lets this company cheat them and that everyone will avoid buying from Cheapest Legal Software and Jay's Design (who collects the money). They are crooks!
I Purchased two computer programs from Cheapest Legal Software (cheapestlegalsoftware.com) on the internet, and I had the programs mailed to me. I went to copy the programs into my computer and in how to install, the text message they had was to disconnect from the internet, e-mail us for the serial number. Use activation by phone to activate the product. E-mail us back the installation code, we will e-mail the activation code, don’t e-mail us until you are ready to install. I have E-mail them five (5) times and they have only responded once. They told me in that E-mail if I would turn off my antivirus I could see the serial number in the text file. I did turn off my antivirus program and I still could not get a serial number. Both of the programs are worthless. I spent $209.98 for these programs. My E-mail is MLLMKL@AOL.COM.I cannot use the software programs without having the serial numbers and no one at cheapest legal software seems to be willing to help supply me one or tell me how to get one. On the mailer They name is Cheapest Software Anywhere, 128 Blue Ridge Circle, Newark, DE 19702 and in the invoice it is Jays Designs.
I too got scammed by Jays Designs(aka Jamie Snyder). Also his associate is Brian Sparacino.
Do you think there is any legal action that can be taken?
I paid for software called "Chief Architect X1" and Rossetta stone for Italian and down loaded it, extracted it, then installed it. Everything went well until I tried to use the software, then it required cd key for Chief Architect x1 and activation forall three levels of rossetta stone(level 1, 2, 3.When I tried to contact the scammer(aka Jamie Snyder) by email and phoning him, I received no reply also. Do you know of any safe site(that is not a scammed site)that a cd key can be used so I can finally use this software(I have come across some that suggest Paypal can used but when I register and am about to pay for it there is no method to pay with Paypal.Do you think this site is safe or from your experience do you think it might be someone else who scams people. I do not want to get burned again.
Some of these sites(when I search for "chief architect x1 cd key") is
thepiratebay.org, torrentreactor.net, btjunkie.org, ddlspot.com, torrentz.com, crackfulldownload.com, warez-files.com, fenopy.com, heroturko.org, gigabitwarez.com, etc. Are these sites legit. They all seem to have the same format(could they be the same group with different sites). Please let me know if there are safe sites that will not rip me off.(my email address is nrodych@mts.net) Sorry for the lengthy comment but I am thououghly frustrated.
