I have a ten month old baby boy which was takin from me by CPS at birth due to Methadone in his system, Dr. ordered because of my pain killer or opiod addiction. My case was never taken to court, I have completed all services successfully, ten months worth, and my case worker has lied and done everything in his power to keep my son from me. Now he has disappeared and I want my son back immediately. I am still his legal guardian since I volantarily complied with all requests from CPS. Isnt is my right as a parent and legal guardian to take my child from his volunteered temporary guardian since CPS refuses to contact me or let me know when I can have my son back permanently? Can I get in trouble if I take him from his current temporary home if I feel it is not safe that the legal father quit all of his services due to drug use and still sneaks over to see him?
There is a women in Texas that can probably help you get some help if you have not already gotten your son back!... She is in Facebook and her name is Shannon Rice. She is an advocate for change in the system in Texas. Due to her advocacy the FBI is currently investigating CPS for unethical practices. You may also contact them directly about your situation minus telling them of your intent to remove the child from the temporary home. That will not go well if you tell them that. I pray that your issue is resolved and will champion you to freedom from their claws if you have not had help!... Also when you get him back get the hell out of that county. They will continue to prey on you simply because they can, Babies are a huge commodity.. Especially if he is a cutie pie! Please make a way to relocate after they are completely out of your lives!... Start fresh and new with a whole new set of family/friends/relationships!...
