My son was put on NPO since 12am for dental surgery that was happening at 1 pm NPO for 13 hours very unnecessary, not to mention he’s autistic and being hungry has become a trigger for extreme behaviors. Everyone in the hospital knows that. Since he was admitted 3 weeks ago for these behaviors.
Looking for triggers and ways to stop these problems before they happen was everyone’s concern. It looks like a set up. My son overstayed his welcome at this hospital. That’s torture for a kid like him.
Desired outcome: Avoid putting children with autism onNPO for 13Hours it’s not safe for and not right
