I started working for the company in the begining of february. I was told I would start at $9 an hour and I would receive my first check in 2 weeks. The 2 weeks came and I didn't get a check. I asked the owner (donna van dyne) what was going on. She told me that checks had to be mailed to her accoutant in louisville, ky and that they would be mailed the following week. When I finally received my check it was for $8 an hour instead of the $9 I was told it would be. She told me that she never said that I would start at $9. I liked being able to work from home and doing the job. I set up appointments with small businesses. It came time for the next pay check and the day checks were suppose to be mailed her daughter suddenly got in an accident and she had to go out of town. It took me 3 weeks to get that check and it was 4 hours short. So it was time for the next check and I was told it was in the mail. Monday come and I still had no check. She told me that wednesday that her office landlord had called and told her there was mail that was not sent because of postage. I asked if she was going to get them and get them mailed that day. She told me yes but I have to wait till 10am because the office don't open till then. Come friday still no check. I was not able to get a hold of her through email or by calling all weekend or even monday morning. I finally sent her an email telling her if I didn't hear from her I would be contacting a lawyer. Then an hour later I get an email from a lawyer saying that there was a bank error and that checks would be a week to 10 days late. The 10 days passed and still no money. I have received emails stating she would no longer except emails from me and I could call her. I only had 1 phone number for her and no one ever answers. Ever time she called it come up private. I finally called her lawyer and come to find out she is not her lawyer. She told me that donna had stopped in there 1 day and asked her to send me that email but that is all she knows. I am still owed money from her. I have left message after message and have had no return phone call. She has now canceled her emails because they all are undeliverable. This women is a big liar and scammer. Please everyone avoid dealing with her at all cost. You can't believe anything she says and she don"t pay! I almost forgot. She has 2 websites www.cincycostsavers.com and louisvillecostsavers.com. And the company name is results in advertising.
I am the original posted and thought I should update my situation. I took donna to small claims court to try to get what is owed to me. I did win my judgment. I won my judgment because she signed for the court summons but never showed up for court. therefore she admitted her guilt. even though I won my case and she has been court ordered to pay me I still have received nothing. my next step will be taking her back to court and have the judge get her bank account information so they can take it directly from her account. they have informed me that if she does not show up for this court date to provide the information she will have a warrant issued for her.in all honesty she belongs in jail where she can't screw anyone else. I can see by the other postings she has been up to this for a while and continues to do so. if anyone is reading this before you do business with her be assured that the postings made by her employees that are happy with her is really just her posting to try to look good. this woman knows nothing other than how to make up stories and lies. avoid her at all cost!
She will continue to screw people. I still haven't received a penny of court ordered judgement and the has interest keeps building. Last I contacted her she threatened to sue me for the original post and said her lawyer was dealing with it. That was December 2012. So she owes me over 2 years interest as well. I know I wasted my time and money though. You would think if she was such a honest and good person she would take care of it. She knows she owes has done nothing other than threaten to sue me.
Sure would be nice to have a local news station do a story and see how many people she has really screwed! To get her name and company name out there and maybe stop her from screwing others over. This has been going on for far too long!

Wow! I'm so glad I decided to write this complaint up. I hope she is caught because I know I still haven't received a dime and I doubt anyone else will either. I hate to hear that she still doing this to people. She is doing more damage to families than she realizes.

I have worked for louisvillecostsavers for two years now and I have never had any prombles with getting paid on time. there are a total of five employees here in the louisville office and three in cincinnati and no one has any complaints against donna or the company. she is a great person to work for if you give 100% she will in return. perhaps the reason you didn't get paid is because you didn't get appts like you were suppose to. I know donna always starts people out at $8.00 an hour, why do you think you would be different? I am proud to work for the company I feel we offer a great service to the small business owner and my clients are happy with their results and I am proud to have donna as a boss. there are two sides to every story and I am glad I was able to say my side. you better be careful of a slander suit... betty thomas office manager
I just wrote my comment. I have never had any problems with Donn getting paid or even working for her. She is a good boss, and very understanding too. I know that Donna has always started people out as an AS $8.00 an hour I don't know why this person would think otherwise. I am the office manager I know how much she pays. I have never and none of us has had problems getting paid. I know this person as tried to cause problems for Donna slandering her name and companys name all over. Donna has a great company and her advertisers love her. She works very hard for them. I have been involved with her for over two years and never had any problems . I feel people shouldn't accuse without proof, and the negitive remarks aren't right and if I was Donna I would file a law suit against her for saying such negitive remarks. Most people that know Donna are just ignoring it and if any clients ask we all stick up for her, cause we know better...
I have been working for cincycostsavers since april and I have had no problems what so ever. everyone is nice to work with and donna is a great boss. at times she can be rather demanding but she is a very hard worker and I have talked to some of her advertisers and they all seem to like the site. I have also met and talked to employees past and present and I haven't heard one negitive remark about the company or her. I think alot of times people try to cause trouble cause of being jealous. I read the above letter and I wanted to let people know that I have never had any problems with getting paid, or the company in general. I feel donna has been very generous with us by giving us bonuses and extras that benefit our families. I have no idea what this person jessica is talking about I have had no problems and no one else has had problems. isn't it funny, she is the only one who has had problems? makes you think if there is a problem with her. if you have tele-marketing experienced and looking for a part time job call donna and see if she is hiring. I would recommend her and infact I have my sister in law works for her too. thank god! for donna and cincycostsavers, it has really helped out me and my family. I will pray for jessica that she finds other things to do with her time than to cause trouble to people who do not deserve it...
I worked for donna a few years ago and by looking at these comments I can see that the only truth in this thread is from the original poster. the comments were clearly posted by her. once you work for her long enough you get to know her tone in written text. not only her word choice, but even the grammatical errors in these comments are a clear indicator that she is the author. let me make it clear that the original poster speaks thr truth. my situation was nearly the same as the original poster's. this woman (donna van dyne) has a criminal record, and I see she's still not smart enough to change her story. if you ever want to be treated fairly and make any money, do not work for her and bring your business somewhere else, because she lies about the amount of views her site gets. she lies about everything, even down to her "daughter" and "accountant".

Results in advertising, llc is not registered and does not exist with the secretary of state's office in ohio — you might want to check the owner out more carefully before doing business with her.
I forgot to mention that she is a habitual liar and is a smooth talker. Dealing with her is like dealing with a person that is all over the map. Type her name in "google" and you will find that she was charged with 4 counts of deception (felonies). That's why she is doing this work -- she can't get a regular job. I bet she even typed all the favorable responses on this post herself using different names. Once a criminal always a criminal in Donna's case.
I agree with the complaint and there is proof that she does not pay for the work people do for her! a friend of mine has a judgement against her in a court of law. she has been ordered numerous times to pay those wages, and yet has not. how honest is a person who doesn't pay even after they are court ordered? not at all! next step, jail time and I will be there to take the pictures! she has caused irreparable harm to my friend and her family by withholding payments for her time and efforts and work done perfectly! after 20 years working on the net, I know a scammer when I see one, and cincycostsavers.com is the scam of the decade!

I repaired her car and she wrote me a check for 1200.00. I cashed it and then she stopped payment on it. She sent me to multiple places saying she was leaving the check with employees and nothing. She is a habitual liar and cant even remember her stories. Do not do business with her or thust her in any way shape or form.

I worked for her for 6 months and it was hell. everything stated here is true. well, except for the random comments that she made pretending to be someone else. I did eventually get money from her, but I literally wasn't paid until I worked for her for four months. I think she still shorted me a little, too. she tries to make you feel like you didn't do well, and that you took too long, so she has a reason to not pay you. well, maybe I didn't try very hard because you weren't paying me. after all my threats of taking everything I made down, she did finally pay me on a couple occasions, but of course both times "forgot" some checks, and I had to nag the hell out of her to get them. her daughter is always sick or injured. she is the excuse queen. this woman needs to be behind bars. if she didn't end up paying me, she would've been sued, again.
Wish I had seen this before. she has (or uses) a different last name. she has one address on web site. told me to come to a different one to get my check. she did not have an office there. I worked for 18 days and no pay. now she says it is her husband who is sick. I am going to fight to get her off the streets and being a fraud. she acts like everyone is dishonest - it is her and susan.

I had put that donna agreed to pay, because she said if I did she would pay me what she owed me. she did not. she said check was on the way. then said I gave her the wrong address and fed ex delivered it. now she will not return any emails. she is a liar, fraud, scam. My story starts when I discovered her through the Career Services board on my college's website. I found her flier asking for a Graphic Artist. I thought this was perfect because I would love to have an art job, since I am an artist alongside my CIT major. This job would have been perfect for me to do even while I was in school.
When I first talked to her, I thought things were a bit sketchy. First of all, her phone number showed up as "Restricted" on my caller ID. For my interview, she wanted me to meet her at a McDonald's in Blue Ash, Ohio. A McDonald's. I thought about not taking the job at all because that's what my gut feeling was telling me, but not knowing about her reputation at the time, I didn't know what to tell her, so I went with it.
For work, I had been doing graphic design as promised. The goal of her website is to advertise small businesses and post coupons related to them on the site. My job was to make the businesses' fliers and upload them to the site. I also ended up managing a page of movie listings every week, and I ended up doing her IT work as well which included managing the website, and at one point saving one of her sites when something went wrong and it went down. None of that was in the original job description. Keep in mind, as of now I have only had a year or so of my CIT education, so I don't know how to do everything. When I told her I didn't know how to do something, she promptly guilt tripped me. "Well what am I supposed to do!?" She should have found a real IT person with experience. She was lucky to find an artist who happened to have the knowledge that I did.
After a few weeks, I had received no information on when I was going to be paid, aside from casually mentioning how much she would be giving me for completing these tasks. Finally I asked her about it, and she told me she would give me what she owed me the next time we met. Of course it's a little odd that an employer would make someone meet them in person in order to pay them. When the time came, she conveniently fell ill and was taken to the hospital, preventing her from meeting that day. (That information was given to me by her Sales Rep, Susan, whom I have doubts even exists.) Next, she promised to meet me another day, and because she wasn't allowed to drive due to her condition, she had to wait for her husband to get home, who was stuck in traffic. After that, there was a bad storm which she used as an excuse to tell me a tree had fallen on her house and she was once again unable to meet. You can see where I'm going with this.
I will admit there were two times where it was my fault that I could not meet. My GPS had malfunctioned due to a failed product update on my phone, causing me to get lost on the way. She promptly took the opportunity to use this against me. By the time I was finally able to meet with her, she had only $300 of what she owed me. $100 in cash for compensation for an account I had to buy for the website's host, and a $200 check, which as soon as I got home with it, she immediately told me not to cash it, telling me the check was for the "petty cash account where only $100 can be taken out at a time". I heeded this because she told me she would have two new checks next time we met, plus the rest of the money she owed me. This of course never happened, and I kept the check for evidence.
I ended up working for her for 3 months, and she managed to hold onto me for an additional month, claiming I had to give her a 30-day notice before leaving if I wanted to get paid. Obviously that never happened either. In total, she owes me $1, 058. Sadly I'm a patient and nice person who hates conflict, and that's why this went on for so long.
But that's not all: Once everything was said and done, I went to small claims court and filed a lawsuit against her. When the day came, it turned out the address she had posted on her website was fake and the summons was returned. Luckily I found another address within my evidence that I used for the second time. That time, the certified mail was never claimed, so they resent it through regular mail. There was no word otherwise, so when she was a no-show at the court on the final day, it was ruled in my favor.
I'm currently waiting for my time to collect. In the meantime I have done some research on her, due to a strong suspicion that "Daskevics" was not her real name. There were no results for "Donna Daskevics" on Spokeo or other people-searching sites. That was when I came across this complaint site. She runs a completely phony business under a phony name. I am in the process of taking her to the authorities now, and I've even sent an email to John Matarese with this same story. This can not and should not continue. I hate seeing people taken advantage of, (especially artists, since it tends to happen a lot) and I will do everything in my power to achieve justice.

Donna daskevics was almost able to scam me and my friends a few months ago. she joined up with a jewelry company and had a home party. since my friends and I did not supply her with personal information but chose to go through the jewelry rep who gave the presentation, donna tried her best to get that information through harassing phone calls and emails. I realized that there was something wrong since she was so extremely aggressive so no info was given to her. she must have realized that by having a home party she would gain access to people's home address, phone number, checking account information and/or credit card number. beware! I was told she left the state with $700 worth of jewelry from the company by passing them a bad check. apparently the company filed a police report. mr matarese may be interested in following up on this as well.
Left the state, I am here I never left the state. I invited you and your friends kathy to my home you arrived 30 minutes and you ate my food and didn't order anything. why attend a jewelry party if you were not going to order anything? you just wanted to see where I lived. you brought two people with you and only one ordered something. that was rude!
I could care less about getting peoples personal information, did you realize I already had your addresses in order to send you an invitation. think before you accuse. the credit card info wouldn't go to me in the first place, you order on line. nothing would go to be it goes directly to the company through the internet. you should really watch your accusations...
By the way, there is a difference between writing a bad check and a stop payment check... once again, you shouldn't come to someones home and bring your friends and eat their food and not buy anything. why do? that was rude!

That is a lie Donna. I told you in advance I was not going to buy anything and neither was my friend. You said that was fine. Now you have changed your tune. And yes, you would have gotten the credit card info because you badgered one of my friends for her to send you a copy of the email she sent to the rep regarding her order. That email included her personal cc information. Then you tried desperately to get their phone numbers from me and got mad when I refused. You even said "Are you AFRAID to give me their numbers?". Then you got mad because they DID order through the rep instead of through you. Then you called me and tried to get me to place an order with YOU for merchandise I had already told you I did NOT want. If anyone here is rude it is definitely you. I don't know how it is that she hasn't been arrested yet. She needs to be caught. You'd think that stealing the jewelry would have done her in.
Unfortunately, 1. She knows how to cheat the system, 2. (from my experience) The police won't comply as long as it sounds like a "civil dispute", and 3. Civil lawsuits do nothing because of her fake addresses. She can't be serviced.
If only we could get someone's attention with this.
I have my local authorities dealing with it. She may be breaking telecommunications fraud given my work was online. but i'm going after her for bad checks. Small claims (which won't do anything) but i might file. So I can put a lien on her stuff. So i hope she goes back to jail.
All her sites have been disabled, but not destroyed (due to legal reasons). police are investigating her, I have informed them of this page and the numerous complaints as well as my college alumni that was conned by her as well. criminal charges are being pursued, I will update you all when I hear more back. she is violating her probation from what I can tell based on the known criminal charges she had. for those who know this is her and all of her known aliases.

SO glad this is being resolved. She scammed me in 2013 as a college student. She owes me probably $800.
I did design work for her and she was the most harassing client of all time. She would call me at all hours of the morning or night. Changed deadlines from being a week away to needing it RIGHT NOW. The check she wrote me was declined. Which by the way, being a poor college student, made me overdraw my account. At this point, I already had a bad vibe about her. I didn't realize till too late that she had given me two different names during our initial talks (which I verified looking back at emails and voicemails.). t looked her up online and realized I wasn't going to get paid so I stopped all communication.
That resulted in numerous emails, phone calls and voicemails to my cell phone. Not only that, but she looked up my PARENT'S home phone number and called them multiple times and left multiple voicemails trying to reach me. She's insane.
I tried to be so patient and understanding with her and she completely wasted my time and gave me unneeded anxiety. Who scams a student struggling to pay for college? WTF
Donna, As of 2/16/16 your website is redirecting to this complaint board. We have done business in the past without you ever paying me. It's now caught up to you. Good luck explaining to the next designer why you need them to fix your website because they will see this and know you won't pay.

I'm the current designer who also just got scammed. Her website started to redirect to here last night or this morning. She was supposed to pay me $275 for the two months I've been working but then she said her daughter got into a car accident so she had to go out town. I refused to fix her website and told her I would only do it if she mails me a check that I can cash to pay all of you what you are owed. What a horrible person.
You see you have to realize that when someone goes into the website it is logged from the Godaddy account. I have the login information from Godaddy who did this and I will be filing criminal charges against them. It is a federal offense to hack into someones website...I am pressing charges I know who did this. It doesn't affect me it affects the 150 clients from all three sites. It is on their contracts that we are not responsible if the site is down for more than two days. Good luck to you...Charges are being filed on Monday morning I have your physical address and I will be providing this to the detective. Good luck, cause once again this is a federal offense!

I also had a conversation with a man who was working with you and was furious that you had some kid load up your car with cases of softdrinks that were for the festival to sell to someone you said you had waiting for them. I alos know that there are several criminal complaints filed in at least 5 different townships and cities in the cincinnati area alone. And the state of kentucky has a long list of your dirty deeds.
