A Balanced Perspective on Edition.cnn
As I delved into the reviews of Edition.cnn, I found a mix of opinions that shed light on the diverse experiences people have had with this renowned news platform. Some customers praised the platform for its coverage of significant events and its ability to provide up-to-date news. Others expressed concerns about potential biases and sensationalism in reporting. It's clear that Edition.cnn holds a significant place in the media landscape, drawing both admiration and critique. When considering Edition.cnn, it's essential to approach it with a discerning eye, appreciating its strengths while also being mindful of varying perspectives.

CNN coverage of the Genocide in Gaza.
I have watched CNN since Ted Turner started broadcasting the channel on August 30, 1995. I have always had the utmost confidence in CNN to show the news in an impartial and unbiased manner.
However, I have been saddened to see the coverage of the Gaza War, compared to Aljazeera's coverage. CNN has favored Israel and has not shown all of the carnage death and destruction that is going on there. While CNN shows mostly the perspective of the IDF, Aljazeera shows the dead babies, women and people under the rubble of IDF bombardments.
The difference in coverage is stark and disappointing to say the least. The death and disfigurement of the children should be shown to the audience so they can see for themselves the war crimes and crimes against humanity that are being committed by Israel. This experience has forever changed my view of CNN and it has proven that CNN is just as biased as any of the right-wing news outlets that they claim to be different than.
Unless and until CNN provides images of this genocide, it will forever be just as wrong for not doing so as any other biased news organization. One thing that I can say to Aljazeera's credit is, they are trying to show both sides of the story. They show the harm of the victims that Hamas has done, as much as they show the genocide that is ongoing in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, done by the IDF.
Do better, be like Aljazeera, give us unbiased coverage of this event.
Sincerely,
Britt Lyle

First time to watch CNN/Anderson Cooper and I am glad I did.
I decided to watch Mr. Cooper tonight because Fox is showing things I saw earlier today. Mr. Cooper did an excellent job tonight showing what really went on in Israel. His interviews were top notch. I don't how he did the interviews and described the horrors he saw in Israel but he did a great job.

P.S. I will never understand how anyone cannot see how horrible HAMAS is.
Support Israel!!!
I am astonished at the speed with which CNN has gone from coverage of the attack on innocent Israelis to currently spending most of the time promoting the innocents living in Gaza. Have you already
discounted the atrocities they perpetrated on Israeli women, children, the elderly, and many vibrant young men? I have switched to MSNBC out of disgust. Fair and balanced does not mean trying to sway opinion towards whomever you perceive as the underdog. These people have been given adequate warning to move south. They elected Hamas in the first place. There
has been no effort to break from them. We need to support Israel!
Boycott CNN
I’ve been a lifelong viewer of CNN because of the three major news outlets in the US, CNN has been the most credible and balanced broadcaster. Today, I begin my personal boycott of your news network and I will do everything I can to ensure everyone I know does the same. I’ll miss Poppy, Sarah, Jake, Erin, and Kaitlin as they were like family in my home all day every day. However, I miss balanced, honest reporting even more. For anyone who wants to know the truth about Israel and Palestine, watch Aljezeera English.
When you continue to allow Israeli officials to come on air and make a case for eradicating Palestine you support terrorism. When you give oxygen to hate from the Israel officials with little explanation as to why the Palestinians are even under Israel’s occupation in the first place you’re refusing to tell the whole story in favor of those who oppress and discriminate on a daily basis, as a part of their religious zealotry. My outrage is directed at you and all western media. CNN could step up and tell the whole truth but you cower to the Israelis under the false narrative of antisemitism. Non-Jewish Israelis and residents do not have the same rights of citizenship as Jewish Israelis. They are not a democracy. And if they are just like the US, then the US needs to reset its values. There is no difference between the actions of Hamas and the actions of Israel. The truth is right there for you to read. But you choose to ignore it and the blood of innocent Israelis and Palestinians is on your hands.

Recommendation: Boycott CNN
You are so displeased just hop your A.S on a plane and get the H..L out of USA.
Biden Administration appeasment of Iran has caused Arab aggression
For almost three years now, CNN has enabled the Biden Administration"s total lack of enforcing oil restrictions on Iran oil sales. CNN has enabled the Biden administrations gifting Iran $ billions of dollars to spend on terrorism. CNN has supported with idiotic policy of allowing Iran to become the worlds terrorist state
because your liberal ideology puts America and Israel last. CNN supported the internal rift in Israel of liberals vs. Conservatives and CNN enjoyed watching Israel ripped apart. I consider liberal and leftist news channels like yours as directly responsible for what we see in the middle east today. This war in the middle east is directly on you.

Political coverage
We're almost a year away from the Presidential election and I'm fed up with the non-stop coverage of polls. You announce a poll at the beginning of the day and you analysis it to death at least hourly. When you guys use polls in this way, you're not just reporting what a group of people think at a given point in time. You're pushing and pulling people in the direction of the majority. People don't like being the odd man out. They often follow the crowd and, the way the Media is bombarding us with polls, the poll itself may serve to move. In short, all the polls are SHAPING people's opinions rather than simply getting them.

reporting by Wolf Blitzer
I must say that Wolfe Blitzer has shown is clear bias about reports of Palestinian releases from prisons as part of exchanges. I am deeply disappointed in his reporting. This whole things is terrible, but we all know history Isreal is not blameless in how they treat Palestinians in the West Bank. This. part of his report on Fri, Sat, nov.24 and 25th.
Thank you.
Desired outcome: he needs to correct his behavior.
News
Dear CNN
You are broadcasting false information about Palestine and Israel conflict.
Information about hamas in the hospitals. Idf Spokesperson was debunked on line posting lies. And you are relaying his information to public as truthful.
Pushing Israel's agenda is not what journalism is about. I demand public apologies to be made on your Chanel for broadcasting false and misleading information from Idf spokesperson.

Hassan Eslaiah
I have just read that the above man, Hassan Eslaiah, who works for CNN was with the Hamas terrorists when they launched their day of violence against men, women and children on October 7th in Israel. I have seen the footage, so I assume so has CNN. So the first question is, did CNN know that he was going to be in the "frontline" with the terrorists, or did CNN only find out later? The second question is why has CNN not showing this on the website? The third and final question is how can CNN possibly call itself an honest reporter of news when it doesn't have a shred of integrity and all the time has taken the word of Hamas as the gospel truth, when we all know they are lying. Shame on you!
Desired outcome: An apology and an admission of reporting factually incorrect news
panel/presentation
I briefly went through complaints...I see one unfortunate similarity...everyone complaining is targeting 1 person.or 2 or everyone...not the way cnn is presenting the news...just that 1 person...
i believe that part of the problem is presentation...as it is so blatantly obvious ...that whatever panel member is presenting a specific topic...there is either a i am in favor of this topic/ or no i am going to disrupt the topic//////showing anger///making jokes///critizing/////
I think it is becoming obvious what i am saying...a lot of people sarah erin etc...maybe they went on assignment...but a reporter is just that...a reporter...i don't believe that we as the audience need to interpret their beliefs on that topic...only report about that topic...its like watching kindergarten children play with play doh...very very sad...but children playing with play doh require adult supervision...where is that at cnn
Desired outcome: i am hoping for a non bias news report other than my local station
On Air Reporting
I have removed CNN from my cable favorites. Your host are just puppets.
Today's great reporting is about some misguided [censored] in Maine with an AR15 shamelessly killing a bunch of people. What else is new in the USA? Doesn't everyone in US have an AR15? Give this [censored] 15 seconds of fame and never, ever sensationalize on this event again. How about more reporting on the new house speaker, or Hamas & Israel. If memory serves me Ukraine has a little spat with Russia etc... etc
CNN has lost it's way with reliable reporting and turned into a network that will sensationalize whatever event is the flavor of the day. Pure crap.
Desired outcome: Integrity, Integrity, Integrity. Facts matter.
Fake news
Today (Oct 24)at approximately 4 pm Sara Seidner reported that thousands of Gazan’s have been killed by Israeli bombs and over 90 Palestinians killed in the west bank by Israeli soldiers or settlers in response to the Oct 7 attacks by Hamas that killed “dozens and dozens and dozens” of Israeli citizens. Sara lied on air (to mislead her listeners perhaps) because I happen to have it from many reliable sources that 1400 Israelis were slaughtered and most of them were civilians. Will anyone there hold her accountable.?
Desired outcome: For Sara and anyone else on your team (and there are a few) who hold the same opinions on this war to report accurately and not attempt to minimize what happened to Israel. Basically just do their job.
news coverage of israeli/hamas conflict
Cnn has become a totally biased propaganda tool for the israeli side of this conflict. Yes it is totally wrong and evil what Hamas did at the start but that doesnt excuse what Isreal is doing since. That is total genocide. But CNN continues to stress the israeli losses and side of the arguement. I used to be an avid fan of CNN. Now I see what the far right meant when they said it is a biased media outlet. Shame on you Jake Tapper Wolf Blitzer Erin Burnett . You are not journalists but propaganda tools. I will never watch this channel again and im not the only one.
CNN News
At 18:59 on 17-Oct-2023 there was an explosion at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza.
Today, on 19-Oct, CNN News says "The devastating Gaza hospital blast is shrouded in uncertainty".
Which is fair enough. There is a lot of confusion and it takes time to sort it all out.
So, why did CNN News report, within minutes, the Hamas conclusion without any verification or indication that the report was not verified.
This was very bad journalism and it is constantly repeated by CNN News when it involves the Palestinian-Israeli conflict - first report the unverifiable Palestinian narrative, without reservations, and only later, after Israel has properly investigated, give the Israeli narrative.
Desired outcome: CNN News should only report known facts and not give one-sided conclusions without verification
At 18:59 on 17-Oct-2023 there was an explosion at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza. That is a fact. It is also a fact that the cause was unknown and all details were unverified.
CNN News immediately reported the incident but, instead of just reporting the facts, gave the Hamas version without trying to verify it even though Hamas, the governing body for Gaza, is designated a terrorist organization by the UK government and has a long record of exaggeration and lying.
It should have been obvious to any reporter that Hamas could not have possibly investigated and known the facts so quickly.
Only hours later did CNN News bother to report that the IDF said that they were investigating and had a completely different version. CNN News made it clear that they would have to prove their case.
Then for many hours, CNN News presented both versions with equal weight, never saying that the Hamas version was unverified.
Even now, more than 24 hours later CNN News is equivocating, even though the National Security Council now accepts that the Israeli version is much more likely.
But the damage was done. Within hours there was rioting all around the world. CNN News helped foment hate against Israel for actions that we now know were taken by the Palestine Islamic Jihad organization.
Why did CNN News not just state the facts instead of immediately giving credence to the Hamas version? Why were Hamas not required to prove their case? Why is CNN News still working to unravel what is and isn't known when CNN News gave a "definitive" answer only minutes after the incident.
This is not a one-off. It happens every time there is a conflict between Israel and the Palestinians - the Palestinian case is always taken as fact, whether it can be verified or not, and the Israeli case is questioned until it is verified.
Coverage of the israel middle east conflict
I have been a supporter of CNN for many years but this recent situation makes me question my views.
First can I say I am a Humanist and totally against what happened to the people of Israel I lecture on Respect...respect for the environment and respect for ALL people.
However your coverage and reporting is very biased towards Israel and against the Palestinian people.
The terrorist group (I do not want to even mention them) do not represent most Palestinian people.
When you interview Israeli or Jewish family members who have sadly lost loved ones or who know their loved ones are being held hostage why do you not then interview Palestinian families who in this conflict have lost families and homes.
What about discussing the opressed existance of the Palestinian people
who had their land taken off them who live in a prison called Gaza where they can not move freely. This situation has gone on for years squashing the Palestinian people and even after the UN told Israel that they should not take over and build on the land they did all the time pushing the Palestinian people back. May I suggest you discuss what has happened over the previous 40 years even more in context with what is happening today.
What does it say that a military officer interviewd says there is electricity and clean water in the south of the Gaza strip when we can see that is not the case what does it say that all the humanitarian aid is not being allowed to travel into Gaza.
You are a great and important media outlet please aim to create a better more balanced view on the situation in the Middle East.
Once again I am totally against what the terrorists did but is flattening Gaza killing innocent people and children going to solve anything.
Personally I think it may even make things worse.
All of us need to learn to respect each other no matter ones religion or wether you do not have a religion, no matter the colour of ones skin, ones sexual orientation, whether young, old rich or poor we are the same species and the sooner we remember that the sooner we respect one another then maybe we will create a wonderful future for this great planet...our home.
Desired outcome: A more balanced reporting
Gaza coverage
I saw Christiane Amanpour's interview with Yuval Noah Harari and was shocked by the awful inaccuracies stated by Harari - which is ironic considering he's meant to be a historian, yet is clearly clueless about the past and present of Israel. Yet his totally inaccurate framing of reality was never challenged. He talked about going through these cycles of violence as if it was a two-way street. And yet UN figures show that in the cycles of violence between 2008 and 2020, the ratio of dead Palestinians to Israelis was 20:1; the conditions imposed on Gaza by Israel on a good day amount to war crimes, breaking of multiple UN resolutions, and psychological torture; the settlements which Harari considers Israeli are actually illegal and on land that doesn't belong to Israel.
Yet, listening to the poorly informed Harari, you would think Palestinians lived a great life under occupation, because they really enjoy getting bombed, locked in by tall walls, having their land stolen, their schools and hospitals bombed. If Harari was shocked to find that illegal Israeli settlers had been murdered and allegedly tortured, how shocked would he be to find out that it happens 20 times as often to Palestinians? Perhaps he should rename his book Homo-ignoramus? After all, how different is his thinking to those who believe Afro-Americans truly enjoyed slavery?
And the facts that I'm presenting are far more verifiable than anything Harari said in the interview. You can go and read multiple UN reports. Or Amnesty International. Or Human Rights Watch. Or just some history books. This is reality. You know, I know it, even if Harari thinks that murdering Palestinians is an act of kindness.
By letting such a distorted analysis of the current situation be presented without challenge, what CNN is doing is stoking anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab, and anti-Muslim hatred. All in the name of keeping Israel happy. Yet at what cost? Now we see pro-Israeli hatred coming home to roost (https://abc7chicago.com/plainfield-murder-joseph-m-czuba-stabbing-16200-s-lincoln-hwy-il/13918623/).
This isn't unrelated. Through your editorial choices you are justifying state terrorism, promoting the murder of Palestinian civilians, and pushing this conflict in the direction of Israeli genocide of Palestinians.
It is deeply disturbing that a channel I have generally considered responsible since the 2003 chaos, is drifting into disturbing, extremist territory.
Desired outcome: Fact-checking your coverage, ensuring balanced coverage (sofballing one side and hartalking the other isn't it), and have human rights lawyers check whether your coverage is covering up or downplaying war crimes.
tv
I would like to request that you rewrite my text in an academic manner. Michelle Ann Flores Martinez has encountered numerous issues with CNN. Initially, there is a perception that CNN is trivializing the photographs of her family and friends, which is distressing to both her and her family. Martinez currently resides at 9052 IH 10 West in San Antonio, Texas, Flex Studios specifically in Room 222. She has become a victim of defamation and electronic harassment, allegedly orchestrated by individuals paid by CNN (allegedly), who occupy several rooms in her vicinity to perpetrate these acts of harassment against her and her family. Furthermore, it is claimed that CNN has unlawfully obtained and disseminated their personal information on live television, as a means to demonstrate their actions. Martinez has experienced difficulties in maintaining contact with her family members for an extended period, and it is alleged that CNN has intercepted and manipulated her online communications by utilizing her own words. The situation has escalated to an alarming extent. I have attempted to communicate with many authorities through email to inform them of my situation, however have not received any answer. Additionally, I have reached out to CNN News Tips on the matter, but have not received a response from them either. The lack of response from these entities has caused me to believe that the situation has escalated beyond my control, causing significant mental perplexity. I kindly request assistance regarding a recent incident that occurred at 10/1/2023 at 11:20 Central Standard Time. Photographs of my acquaintances, Sandro Escobedo and Ms. Almarez, were posted without their consent. I find this action to be highly inappropriate. At present, I am experiencing a sense of constant surveillance, perceiving that my actions are being monitored. Furthermore, I suspect that individuals have been assigned to tail and harass me, utilizing a white Jeep with the license plate number 2024 TDJ 1388. This suspicion is reinforced by the presence of a female who habitually parks at Denny's and directs a red laser towards my window. Additionally, a white Cadillac Escalade, which parks at McDonald's across the street from my location, engages in similar behavior. I harbor concerns that my neighbors, Jackie and Norman Robertson, as well as Troy Pelton, may be implicated in these events, potentially having made a claim regarding my breast implants, and have been aired on cnn as guest to display they sorry which has hindered my ability to proceed with necessary legal actions. I kindly request assistance in addressing a situation involving potential conspiracy theories. Currently, during my break from a college class, I have been informed that my math professor, Fermin Ortiz, is allegedly engaging in harassment towards my family and myself.(allegedly) as they seem to know everything I do and want to put the blame on everyone else,. I seek assistance in resolving this matter, as it appears that CNN is continuously broadcasting individuals who do not correspond to the authentic online news casters. For instance, Laura Coastes is purportedly Desiree Esparza Holmes, and Erin Bennett is allegedly Ms. Barrios, from San Antonio who Mr. Barrios happens to be my father. These actions have been allegedly directed towards me due to Ms. Barrios' association with your organization. The provided numerical value is [protected].
24/7 Reporting of ISRAEL war
I love CNN. I start and end my day watching CNN, but I am tired of the 24/7 round the clock reporting of the Israel war. I am more interested in what is going on here, especially the court cases of Trump. I want to know what is going on with the case.
I am not anti Jewish, and support Jewish people, but I can't remember any support they have every given to the US. Please balance your remorting, and make that a portion of your reporting, not 100%. I am sure, I am not the only one who feels this way.
Desired outcome: Balance your daily reporting
News reporting
You people are trying to remake yourselves. So far you haven't been very successful. I don't have a complaint as I stopped watching CNN a long time ago. I do have a suggestion. If you want to improve your credibility and bring people back, try reporting the facts, good, bad or ugly. Only the facts. Not what you think are the facts, not facts that don't meet your standards of what you think the people need to hear. Don't put your political opinions into the reporting. Just report the facts. When you interview people, if they stray from reporting the facts or report what you know to be inaccuracies, call them out.
It used to be that you watched the news and received the facts concerning what was going on locally and in the world. Then the liberal, left wing got involved and the main street media reporting went to hell in a handbag. I'm nearly 80. I remember accurate reporting before the liberal, woke, politically correct BS that currently seems to be the rage. Put common sense, honesty and accuracy into your reporting and you will be successful.
Delivery of the News
I apolgize up front but I have a question and concern.
Christiana Amanpour, one of your announcers, it is hard to follow her delivery of the news. I am not trying to tell her how to speak she is a little all over the place and too many personal fillers words Ex: very, very, very and she was not able to pronounce a former POW (Gilad Shalit or Wafa al-Ahrar) that was captive for 5 years and Israel had to swap 1000 Palestine prisoners' to get him back. She is just hard to follow. If you close you eyes or drop your head and listen to her I do not know what she said. Just state be clear and state the news, she is too hard to follow. She was on the air Monday morning 10/09/23 between 7:00 am and 7:30 am. I listened to her about Palestine attacking Israel and I honestly do not know what she is saying. I am not trying to cause her an issue, I just want to hear and understand the news clearly. I watch CNN everyday
Desired outcome: I am not trying to cause her an issue, I just want to hear and understand the news clearly. I watch CNN everyday
I believe she was delivering the news twice in that half hour
Online CNN article containing false claim in headline
There is an article on CNN online today stating "Erythritol, an ingredient in stevia, linked to heart attack and stroke, study finds." This headline indicates that all stevia products contain this dangerous ingredient, erythritol, which is far from true. Both liquid and powder stevia is sold in pure form without any other ingredients. CNN should expect to be sued by companies who will lose customers due to this error in reporting. In fact, I called the attention of NOW company to this lie that CNN is now circulating. You have also done a disservice to people with diabetes who use pure stevia. This calls for a reversal and quick apology on the part of CNN.
Desired outcome: Correct this error in reporting immediately and apologize to all the companies that sell pure stevia without any other ingredients, including erythritol.
Your Political POLLS
PLEASE stop giving poll results WITHOUT the number of voters in the poll. I believe that giving us the pulse of the nation from 1800 Americans makes you the promoters of invalid information. Haven’t we had enough lies in America. Polls need to be comprehensive with a large percentage of America polled. Sample polls are lies to America. We are far to diverse to use samples. PLEASE become the distributors of FACTS – Including the ACTUAL NUMBER OF AMERICANS POLLED.
Thank you

Desired outcome: Start reporting the NUMBER of Americans Polled in EVERY Poll you use.
Morning News - Poppy
This morning, September 20, 2023, Poppy made two bad errors regarding the coverage of JOHNNY MIMS TASING INCIDENT.
First: During the TASING interiew, Poppy rudely interrupted his attorney, rather befuddling her.
Second and Most Disturbing: Poppy announced that the Birmingham Police would have the oportunity to give their side of the story - all this while the obviously upset and damaged Mr. Mims was on camera and in earshot. Mr. Mims was obviously already in duress sitting there listening to this rant.
Dr, Radford Thomas
Desired outcome: Mr. Mims is deserving of an on-camera apology at the least.
Murdoch University student/ Hearing voices in my head
Dear CNN
I write to express my anxiety in my intellectual health and encounters with hearing voices in my head. We may say someone is ‘hearing voices ‘if you hear a voice and no one is present with you. It is typical to think if you hear voices, you must have a conceptual health problem. I remember hearing voices and allowing offensive thoughts that set out to control me and hang on to me. I usually hear voices as I fall asleep or wake up. This applies to your brain being partially in a dreaming state. Voices calling your name or expressing something brief. These incidents are happening throughout the day. What’s it like to live with hearing voices? Repeatedly, voices are a problem because of your association with them rather than just because you hear them. I realize voices are harder to deal with at specific times and can be controlling and stopping me from doing the things I really want to do. These circumstances are provoking me and leading me to be upset. I want to take control and block the voices out of my head. For example reading books, doing exercises, personal study meetings. What treatments are available? I have been to hospital to see a GP who prescribed medication. How can other people help? Firstly accept that hearing voices is real, try not to make judgments and encourage others to talk about their experience. The voices and sounds I hear, that I recall are from Andrew Forrest former CEO (Fortescue Metals Group) Elizabeth Gaines CEO (Fortescue Metals Group) Ivan Glasenburg former CEO of (Glencore mining company). I have never come across any individuals or groups from these workplaces and I have had no interactions nonetheless. Up to this point, since my occurrence with hearing voices from this group of people I have noticed a decrease in my memory, a decrease in my intelligence and a slower momentum in reading. Your support is considerably appreciated and your cooperation in confronting me tackle this problem is highly regarded.
Sincerely,
Muzimo
Desired outcome: Contact Murdoch University to inform the university about this incident. Stop hearing voices and take back control of my life.
CNN news
Each time I go to CNN for correct honest news, I find you and your newspeople feeding lies to the American people, again. Your political dishonesty and lack of true information has caused many American people, ignorance of what is really happening. Our country is slowly becoming socialist and communists. Young people who rely on the news to help them make good decisions, are unaware that your news is heading the country to disaster. I know Power is your biggest motivation but remember when you are no longer here to spend the money and bask in the Glory, your children and grandchildren will be left behind to clean up the mess. I pray for each one of your employees to stop the evil lies and become a reliable, educational tool for American people, so they can make good decisions. Thank you.
Desired outcome: as above
