On 13 August 2020 I called Summer Plumbing [protected] (Internet) to change my toilet bowl pump from lever to push button type.
I specifically requested to change the very worn out brackets.
On 15 August 2020 the plumber came.
I reminded the plumber to change the brackets.
The plumber took out a circular bracket and said it’s not compatible.
He did not bother to find a solution to get compatible brackets.
Instead he continued to change the pump.
After the new pump was replaced he just slot a black round rubber In between the right worn out bracket.
I only found out on 20 August 2020. That night I called Summer Plumbing.
Mr Chia started arguing and said it’s my fault I allowed the plumber to continue with the work.
He offered to replace the old pump back if I’m not happy. Mr Chia said as long as after replacing the new pump and there was no leakage their job was considered completed.
I reminded Mr Chia that during my conversation with him I specifically requested to change the brackets. I did mention the brackets were very old and worn out.
His plumber did not even bring a drill along with him. I wondered how was he going to change the brackets.
Instead of arguing with Mr Chia for more than 10 minutes, I asked Mr Chia as a professional plumber how can the plumber just replace the new pump without changing the worn out brackets?
I am very disgusted with such unprofessional plumbing service especially when he said he offered to replace the old damaged pump back without offering a solution to address this issue.
To be in business for so long and already informed they were old brackets, the plumber chose to bring incompatible brackets instead.

2/12/15 What a rip off - to unblock 2 bathroom sinks - usually $250 per sink but they offered a special rate of $400 (how kind!). DO NOT use these guys again.

When our toilet bowl leakage in Nov 2013, we called Summer
Plumbing Service from the Classifieds. They came and replace the pump and the gasket
between the tank and bowl.

Last then 3 months later, the same toilet leak again. I called Summer Plumbing Service. They said
warranty expired as the time I call is more than 3 months. They can inspect the toilet but will charge
me accordingly. I agreed to the charge
because I want them to follow-up on their works.

They came again and change the gasket again which is less
then 3 month. Charge is $20. I paid also.

3 days later, the same toilet leads again. This time, Summer Plumbing it is not their
responsibility. Should they come to check, service charge will apply again.

This type of service and warranty is totally not responsibility. I am here not to recommend their services.

I call another plumber. They discovered the gasket is not
the right size and it should be for aircon usage. And the screw not tighten
were the cause of leakage
