I used the trial order of colotox and was dissatisfied with it. There was no phone number so that I could cancel the order. When I received shipment of colotox at the post office, I refused it and sent it back.
I noticed that this uninformed company charged my account again this month. I am on social security and cannot afford this unwanted and unnecessary product. I does not work as I discovered in santa fe, nm in 1994.
If you do not cancel this order, I will be forced to change my credit card number.
The second product has not arrived as yet because I am on the island of maui in hawaii. Everything goes to honolulu on oahu for further shipment to the neighboring islands like maui, but my bank account has been charged for it.
Cancal - cancel - cancel this order.

Hey Sherry

File a complaint with the BBB @ www.BBB.org. I have done so and the BBB is now handling this issue for me.

I ordered a product on line, which was advertised as a free trial, I was to pay $4.95 for shipping and handling only. However, upon receipt of my credit card bill, I was charged $45.85 instead of the $4.95 I had agreed to. After checking on line, I see many many complaints from this company by people with the same greivances as I. They, are apparently a totally fradulent company cheating people with their false advertisements.

I placed an order for a 30 day free trial of colotox. I just had to pay for shipping . I cancelled the order on 12/23/08 via the customer service @[protected]. I was even given a confirmation number. On 1/7/09 38.95 was pulled out of my account from colotox. This infact caused an over draft fee of 28.00.
seeing how this was cancelled in december. I consider this theft. Who can I report this matter to

I filed a complaint with the BBB as well...I think we all should! Watch your bank statements--this company also sells your acct info to Fit Factory and Comprehensive Weight Loss. Fit Fac charges 29.95 per mo and Comp Weight loss charges 9.95. They just continue to steal money from me!

Comprehensive Weight Loss 9.95 monthly membership.
Cancelled my order over a month and a half ago and I am still being charged by their "partner" companies for my "Free" trial product!

Ordered COLOTOX for $5.95 S&H. Charged $45.85 and sent additional products I didn't want. Tried to cancel, because charge on card before I received any products. Still got products. Called to cancel any further shipments on 12/04/08. Was on on hold for 59 minutes and then was cut off! Went online to cancel. No more products sent, but new charge on my credit card for $38.95 on 12/24/08. You cannot reach a live person!

I am in the same boat. I am still trying to cancel the order. Also, for those that don't know, you automatically get signed up for a Fit Factory membership as well. This was another $29.95 each month. Call [protected] www.fitfac.com

I ordered a free trial supply and did not want any more. I have been billed for further supplies and do not want or request them. Please stop. I will not pay for something I did not want.

charged for things I did not order
I ordered a $1 trial of Colotox, all I was suppose to pay is $4.95 for shipping and handling. When I received the Colotox, they also sent me Hoodiburst gum and Hoodiwater. I did not order either of them. Then they proceeded to charge my credit card $44.90 for these items. I was told that the fine print stated that orders would automatically be sent if not cancelled. There was not fine print to read.

in December, I too fell for the scams of Aci-berry and Colo-tox combo diet. I followed the dosages of 2 pills of acai-berry per day and 3 colo-tox. After 2 days of receiving acai-berry sample pack I received a 30 supply and was billed for it. Colo-tox sample took 3 weeks to receive. I was charged for an additional 30 day supply which has never arrived. I have cancelled both products. The only results I have seen from these products is a 2 pound weight loss, interupted sleep, & severe stomach cramps. My most noticable difference is the size of my bank account. Don't get taken by this scam!

I've read several negative reviews regarding Central Coast Nutraceuticals, and it seems most of the problems are caused by the fact that many people don't read the fine print. If you take advantage of their trial offer, you are obligated to adhere to the agreement, which is consummated when you accept the offer. That is, you agree to a monthly shipment of the product unless you cancel the agreement in writing. You can't claim fraudulent charges if you're just too stupid to follow through with the specifics of the offer.

I am not associated in any way with Central Coast Nutraceuticals its owners or assigns.

Might as well add this for all to see...

Their terms and conditions are more than clear, even concerning the "negative option."

Negative Option Clause:
I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS CONSUMER TRANSACTION INVOLVES A NEGATIVE OPTION, AND THAT I MAY BE LIABLE FOR PAYMENT OF FUTURE GOODS AND SERVICES UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT FOR $39.95 PER MONTH PLUS SHIPPING IF I FAIL TO NOTIFY THE SUPPLIER NOT TO SUPPLY THE GOODS OR SERVICES DESCRIBED.

Look folks. I would be the first to slice-up a rotten vendor, but consumers, in general, have become lazy.

At any time, when you purchase something, make sure you read ALL of the terms and conditions before buying. If you do not perform that very simple aspect of due diligence, then you have no defence, whatsoever. You will be at the mercy of your credit card company, and they are notorious for being bottom feeders. Save time in the long run by just reading and understanding your purchase. Good grief.

Guess what? I read the fine print (all of it) and followed all their procedures and was ripped off anyway so not everyone is just stupid. Some of these companies do prey on those who do not take the time to read every word, but for those of us who do, we should not be liable. But, I have learned my lesson and will not give out my card # online again. So not everyone is lazy, some of us play by the rules and lose out anyway so I would not be defending these idiots until you have all the facts

They don't inform the customer that the amount of the "Free Sample" is not actually free... you later will have to pay 39 dollars if you do not send the remainding amount of pills after 14 days! this company rips you off and steals your hard earned money! Do not trust them, they are scam artists! The crap doesnt even work!

Can you say SCAM! I returned the product within 14 days of receiving my "free" trial. 11 days later my account is drafted for $38.95. I called that same day and they said they would look in to it. I called 2 days later and was told I would be issued a refund. 5 days later still no refund. 8 days later I went to my bank and filed paperwork to dispute the charge. I called Colotox the next day to let them know I filed a dispute and Claudia the Service Rep. said "then I guess there is nothing we can do for you" and hung up! Better Business Bureau, here I come!

This appears to be a different company than Central Coast Nutraceuticals. None of our products actually charge those amounts, but just in case we recommend contacting your bank for the correct contact information on the companies that sell those products. If for some reason it still appears to be our company, please follow these instructions.

I ordered Colotox and I read that I had 10 days from the time I RECEIVED the order to cancel future shipments and to return the product. This company charged my credit card after I had only had the product for 4 days. When I called them the rep said that the 10 days is from when they mail it out, but that is not what their order information had on it. I read ALL the fine print and still lost. I also need to point out how was I supposed to get a 30 day free trial when I had to cancel within 10 days of them mailing the product to me? This company never intended anyone to get a "free" trial, they just wanted your credit card info so they could at least rip you off for one order, possibly more.

I ordered the Colotox on July 21 and on my order confirmation it said I should receive it by Julu 25 (Sunday). When it wasn't received by Aug. 1, I called and they said the 14 day trial started when I receive the product and to call and let them know when I got it. When I still hadn't received it by the 6th--called again and was told the same thing. Finally received it on the 7th. Called to tell them (both support numbers) and recording said they were having technical difficulties, so I e-mailed them twice in a week with no response. So I tried calling again and now it says their in litigation with the FTC. And, yes, they did charge my account before the 14 days expired.
