I paid a lot of money to be part of the Commercial Real Estate Program/Austin Davis' Mastermind Group. They charged $100/month to supposedly help you purchase Apartment Buildings for cash flow. 1st ; instead of being told where to locate deals that were Off Market, where sellers might actually accept "creative deals": was only given a list of Commercial sites like LoopNet. They act like something is wrong with you if you can't get a seller to accept a deep discount deal (with agents in there, mind you) Then, was told to get "prefunding" through ZippyResults.com as their consultant. ZippyResults said I needed a Shelf Corp.to develop business credit so I could get a downpayment on a building. They sent me a bill for thousands & set me up with Penny Consulting to "build out" the corp. Shelf Corp. ended up being a DISSOLVED one, worthless for getting credit.(& told me I was getting a good deal) Was charged more monies (& lots of delays) by Penny Consulting, then referred to James Jones at StartFreshCreditNow.com(Start Fresh Credit Solutions)in Las Vegas. He billed me thousands more, and did absolutely nothing but stall, pretend, extend. He told me to go to a friend of his, Aaron Sanders, to pay over $1, 200 for tax prep for the company. Said he'd applied for loan at Key Bank, who doesn't loan in my area. When I asked for info or updates got lies, attitude, & abuse and he tried to blame everything on Terry Penny. I asked for help from Austin Davis, Zippy, & Penny, got none. To absolve themselves CREProgram refunded a whopping $200 (oooooohhhhh) I asked ZippyResults & Penny Consulting to buy back the Shelf Corp and STAND BY their product: ZippyResults threatened me saying I signed a NCND but of course failed to stand by their product. I've gotten no help from any of them. James Jones has made a bunch of phoney excuses and has failed to refund my money; which he had promised to do on Feb 7th.
BTW, Josh Cantwell gave me lists of places to find Off Market Apartment deals & didn't charge me!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Dispute was previously submitted to the BBB and closed by the BBB
This dispute was previously filed by Corinna with the BBB and was closed for the reasons below.
First, during the term of her membership, she submitted several requests for assistance (over 100) over serveral months and on multiple deals - all of which were responded to during the term of her membership. Corinna has repeatedly made an inacurate claim that no help was provided by Austin or his team, but that is simply not correct. Every request made for help, was responded to.
Second, all billing is done through Click Bank, of which is a independent third party, that administers all billing. There is simply no way for Austin or any staff member to bill a member of the program directly or other than they agreed to when joining. A member can only be billed as per the terms they agree to on the click bank billing website when they apply for the membership. This was put in place to protect member credit card information, and has since provided a source as an unbiased third party for all billing for verification of the terms of the membership charges always being 100% as agreed to by the member.
The terms of all memberships, that all members must agree to when joining, that Corinna also agreed to when joining, are clear, in that the member is given a full 60 days to for any reason request a refund of the membership charge. If a member is not satisfied 100% as per the 100% satisfaction guarantee they are welcome to request to cancel and request a refund as per the 60 day money back guarantee at any time. Corinna was free to request a refund at any time during her 60 days as per the terms and conditions of her membership, by simply contacting our support staff to help with her request or by calling the 24 hour call center with Click Bank that provides support. This is the same for all members, there is no special treatment for any members, every member has access to this guarantee.
Corinna canceled on 9/7/11. Then on 12/28/11 recontacted our office demanding a refund, but was past the 60 days as was explained already to her. The $200 referenced in her complaint was not given as a refund as stated (the terms of her membership did not allow for a refund past 60 days), but she was given (as a one time courtesy) a courtesy credit for $198 as a sign of good faith, in the amount of the refund she could have freely requested when canceling previously during the 60 days, but in which she chose not to request it.
Corinna later made a request for a list of suggested vendors/brokers/investors for assistance in obtaining funding and as already explained, she would need to contact them for assistance. She did not apply for the partner program, but sought to do her deals on her own, and there are risks with all real estate deals, as stated in Austin's program. All members have access to Austin's partner program, of which has no up front costs to access cash for deals, but when seeking to obtain funding direct and on your own as a investor, there are up front costs and risks when doing so. This is the same with any program, lender, investor, bank, etc.
We wish Corinna the very best in her investing ventures in real estate. However, taking to the internet to attack Austin and his program is not a practice that is rewarded. Any other questions please submit on the website.
