I paid approx 1200 USD in total to a webdesign firm in India called
ORANGE LAB (www.orangelab.in) for creating a custom application using
software such as FLEX and PHP.
People from India are generally nice and fair when it comes to
understanding. However there are some that are just greedy and
selfish minded like the CEO of this company who is called LINGU
aka CHOCKALINGHAM.
I thought I could save some money in the longrun
due to the currency exchange etc. On this occassion however it´s turned
out to be a nightmare of not only poor service but also not being sent anything in return for my money.
The person who I sent the money too via westurn union was:

I´m very upset by this and will no longer be
trustworthy to sending money to countries
abroad such as India.
Not only this but just like every part of the world, these companies
make others less trustworthy to companies. Simply as they are corupt
and con men!
The CEO of this company will speak to you like your his best friend
but when he has your money, you´ll be ignored. The developer
who was working on the project was called Vinoth. Now just the
fact that the CEO Lingu said to me, ¨Don´t discuss how much you
paid to any of my staff¨explains something.
This is very bad and I would like to report the user and company.
Westurn Union should have a database or online system that enables users to write feedback on
the service they have received from Users on
Westurn Union. This can then give other users
the chance to see how genuine the service is
rather then sending money to a company which
will not only be rude but not send anything
in return.
If you are seeking web development, web design, applications etc.
I warn you now, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
You´ll be left with nothing!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I wouldn´t bother with a company like that. That CEO Lingu sounds like a fraud! I wouldn´t be suprised if he does it again.
I agree! This CEO of Orange Lab in India sounds like a real fraud. He´s bound to do it again. This company needs to be reported to the officials in India, it´s spoiling any good reputation which other companies have. I think the CEO
Lingu should pay you in compensation.
I 100% agree with the author, had a very bad experience with this con man, please dont use him. He doesn't pay his employees so they leave orange lab in 2 month period, you as a customer will be in dark . DONT use this fellow, he is very greedy, selfish, has no moral values. I lost 1000s of dollars because of this dude. take my word for it, He IS NO good!

I can relate, my web designer 499websites.com 360 networkservices inc has disappeared and does not respond. Karim from customer service gave me an estimated time frame of 5 weeks beta version It has been 7 weeks now. I do not know what my options are please Help. I have paid all upfront cost in advance and have no chances of getting any monies back.
Selfish minded person. He is definitely a disgrace to his people in India. Lingu Chockalingham is the kind of man that makes the British cautious about using services abroad. Britain have known India for a long time but this man gives his people a bad name. I wouldn't want to do any business with India just because of him! I wouldn't want the same experience happening to me. So people in India, you know who messed your name up! I suppose it's a matter in his business life where you can say "Laugh now and cry later"
I heard about this company Orangelab in India. I was just about to use this company to develop my website project. I was speaking to Mr Lingu Chockalingham on Skype and he sounded friendly. But I'm not going to use his company after all these complaints I'm seeing scattered all over the internet about him and his company. He won't be getting a penny from me. Thanks for posting this Justin, I'm probably better sticking with a UK firm.
If you want to outsource a project in india please check whether the company is approved by the ministry of Coporate Affairs, the government of india. Just Type "MCA21" in google and search. Click the link "Check Company or LLP name" and enter the company's name and search . if approved, the details will be shown other wise, the same form will be shown. Orange lab is not registered company in the list of MCA
