Concrete Services/Concrete Everywhere review: Driveway installers

Over a month ago I set up a project to have a driveway put in and Mr. Montes showed up, measured the area, outlined it and then we spoke about the cost.

We agreed on $5,500 for excavation and the pouring of concrete, Mr. Montes said he required a deposit for the job and since we have done this before, with no problems, we gave him a check for $1,900. The agreement was that he show up on the following Monday to begin work. We were contacted by Mr. Montes by text that he might've contracted Covid or the Flu and he said he would have to start the following Monday. During that week he again contacted us by text to inform us that he still was dealing with the affects of the Covid/Flu and that he'd have to start, again, the following Monday. Since that text Mr. Montes has not notified us by email, text or phone but we sent him a copy of the contract, receipt of deposit and check, so far no word from Mr. Montes and it has now been nearly a month and half. Since this has gone this far I've contacted the Washington State Attorney General's Office on Fraud and they sent Mr. Montes two letters and letters sent back to AG..
