Hello to all my folks who got into the dumb TIMESHARE GAME. This is yet again another complany who "can help" or so they say.
Boy can they lie to you. I did not contact them. They called me two times today. Once to ask if I still have my time share for sale. I do. Then another person called to say they have a buyer for me. WOW you do, do you? LOL Now this is when the red flags went off for me. If they saw my AD for sale on line, why not contact the pepole on the AD, not me the owner of the time share for sale? Then I was asked to give my credit card to hold for a retainer fee they called it. When I looked them up on line I saw the same fee $1, 994.00 for level 4 pricing they called it. It looks like yet again anther timeshare company "trying" to list my time for sale. All they do is take your money and put a very simple boring AD up to list your timeshare and then they change there name and numbers and your out the money. I did not give them anything. Has anyone out there done business with this company in the past? I just want to sale this timeshare I have. I have no hope for it. I have tried since 2008 to sale and no luck. Only people calling me to help me sale it only after you pay up front. I cant belive people are really that mean that they know you got something no one elsa will pay for. Any hope out there? The only thing I can do is to give the timeshare back to the folks that I got it from and never owe them HOA fees but I will have lost 100% of the money I put into it. I wanted to have something. After today I have no hope for what I have. Becareful out there when you go to one. Leave your money at home.

I am so tired of this! ;-( I had some church guy e-mail that he wanted my timeshare and would take it off my hands. Well he never got back to me after I sent him the title transfer paper work and he does not answer my calls or e-mails now. I called my timeshare Silverleaf and I told them to dont want this ### anymore. They are sending me paper work now to give it back to them. I ll keep you all posted on when Im going to be free of this ### once and for all. I will not make anything. I just want to not pay for something I dont use anymore.

I am working on giving it back to Silverleaf. I cant give it away. I cant sell it. So Im just going to walk away from the deal. I have learned to just save my money then I can go to any place when I went how I want. No more time share for me. I will keep telling others to run away form time share and time share resellers. Im glad you too did not go sign up with CVS losers. Take care

I agree. The best thing to do is donate your timeshare to a charity and at least get a tax deduction...or give the time share back and get nothing, or sell it on eBay for $50-$200. I'm donating mine.

Complete scam. They contacted me claiming they have a buyer for my timeshare, but they needed $ 1, 886 to begin the process and a contract will be sent in two days. I insisted on the contract first and they presisted to pressure me into giving them my cc information to get moving on the sale, even guaranteeing that the large fee is 100% refundable. The person on the phone got beligirent and eventually hung up on me. Do not fall for this scam. It is unbelievable how crooked these companies are. They basically look for listings of timeshares for sale, contact the owners and pretend that they have a buyer ready to commit. Upfront fees are always a red flag!

Complete scam and rude. Kyle Dryden from Continental Vacation Services called me to scam me about selling my timeshare. I had him talk to my wife and when she said no we wouldn't sign with his company to sell out timeshare he called her a Fu..ing Cu.t. I'm sorry but if any body wants to deal with people that have no respect for the common hard working people and use vulgar names when they are turned down I feel sorry for you. This is a real loser of a company and I would stay as far away as possible if I were you.

We got a call from the same guy, who seemed very nice. However, everything I've read on every website that that mentions this company points to fraud. The BBB rating is an F. Their website, accessed from various URLs including the one above is identical to their other ones, and no one in their right mind would pursue buying a timeshare based on the sketchy to non- info provided on their site. It is just a twist on an aging scam designed to "market" your timeshare. We already paid $600 to a legit company during good times to try and sell our timeshare- no way we're paying over twice that to these guys. Since it's been paid for for years, we'll just keep the !@$!@# thing and keep banking weeks and occasionally using them. We have had a few (very few) really special vacations through RCI; but the advice others have given to NEVER buy a timeshare is certainly valid. You just can't unload them.

I just got a call from John Mitchell at ext 333 from Continental Vacations and whoa Smoke Tree Lodge in Banner Elk is being bought out by an Investor. But I had to give my CC for $1994 charge if I did not send back the deed "after receiving the contract and a cashiers check for the $8000 for my studio wk 39.
We have tried to sell this unit for the last 8 yrs so last yr we gave a week to our daughter's school for their auction and took the tax write off. Great way to be in a win win for everyone. Chris in MD

Complete scam. Led me on for 6 months about a solid buyer. Then gave me a closing date. Then told me that selling my unused weeks would require another deposit, refundable at sale. Two weeks later told that there is no record of a buyer. So I wasted 6 months on these con artists. After 7 years trying with other con artists. Shame on me. If you speak to Samantha there, tell her she has an appointment in hell.

It seems to me that the Florida Atty Gen's office is at least partly responsible for these scam artists continuing their trade. Is there a class action suit against the AG's office?

Just want to be sure and put in a final warning against Continental Vacation services. They still have an active website but from what I can tell no active numbers. Unfortunately my husband and I lost our 1886.00 dollars last Nov. 2010. Worst mistake of our lives! Have learned a big lesson! Anyway to anyone who is being contacted from someone named Brian Hill acting as a paralegal for G. William Clarke PA of Delray Beach Florida. WARNING! Give them no money. They claim that the state of Florida was given money by Continental Vacation services as restitution for fees paid by unhappy customers. If you pay them 400.00 dollars and sign a limited power of attorney they will get your money back for you! Wrong answer. The Florida Attorney General's office informed me after I put in a claim regarding CVS that the owner of the company OD'd as in killed himself and took all of the money that he acquired fradulently with him! So there is no money to be had in regards to restitution! The owner of CVS had no money in his estate. Imagine that. Please do not fall in to their trap.

There is also a very smooth talking TOM JOHNSON who gave me the same story about filing fees and power of attorney. They should be shut down!
