This company is a scam, yet Gulf News Appointment has placed many job ads on behalf of them despite of many people complaining about their scam.
please dont give them 100 dhs or 150 dhs which they usually ask for, they are only making money on you.
They do not have any real jobs to offers anyone, they just make up fake interview calls and ...you are never selected by the client!..

I have live in UAE more than 20 years and have seen agencies like these steal your money by running 'illegal' business of charging you any kind of fees, before you visit such agencies please read this ..

"Recruitment Agencies warned against collecting fees from job-seekers
The Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour, Humaid Bin Deemas, said that it is illegal to collect fees from jobseekers as it is against the Labour Law and agencies getting into such practices will be shut down.
Bin Deemas mentioned that charging fee from job-seekers for acting as a broker between employers and the job-seeker is considered illegal not only under the law of UAE, but also under the international law and the ministry has the right to shut down all agencies involved in such an act.
The Minister of Labour, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al Ka’abi, has expressed anger over the manner in which such recruitment agencies are operating and mentioned that any individual who has fallen as a victim to such agencies should report to the ministry immediately. As an initiative to stop such practices, the Ministry has stopped granting licenses to any new companies for two years."

Hello everyone,
I received call today from this company core-element, at 10:30 am as they offered me two excellent jobs located in dubai and abu dhabi, then the lady ( Indian accent ) told me : the offers are good & I may earn 9000 aed up to 13000 aed amonth ( depends ) on my skill and profession experiences, so I was excited and very motivated to for it, but my first note that she asked me to come for interview tomorrow ( which is Friday ) and from my experience in this country, that no recruitment office, company or anything relevant to this sort of business would work on Friday and around 99% of the companies in the country are off for weekend, so i passed this note, then in my lunch break, i said hmmm let me check their website for more knowledge and after loooooooong searching, , I found this website & went through the posts here I worried then I called them again to ask if I am going to pay any fees for the interview or membership or paying any fees for any procedure, the lady told me NO sir, you pay anything, so I felt like it's only ( change in scamming strategy ) and later on after after doing the interview they will call me to say : Congratulations, you have passed the initial interview and if you would like to pursue with us you must pay blablabla ... so they will not ask you to pay in advance & definitely somehow they will try to trick the candidate to pay later, , so after seeing all posts here and they are all reasonable notices for me, my opinion about this Core-element company : This company and their staff knows how to play on labour regulations pretty good and they have calculated carefully & professionally everything they do or say and no regular person or job seeker can put them in troubles for the next 100 years as I can predict, but what comes around goes around and one day they will pay dearly for playing on rules & fooling needy people & ripping off their blood & sweat money .
(((( DO NOT GO THERE, YOU ARE WARNED ))))

I received a call from Core Elements last week at around 7pm - which I thought was a little strange for a 'recruitment' agency to call at a time like that - and a soft spoken lady (possibly from India) said I had an interview the next day at 10.30am. Apparently my CV had been shortlisted and the company was a JAFZA construction company and my CV just so happened to be short listed. Up until that point, I was pretty happy considering I've been looking for a job since October. However, when I started asking questions like salary, name of the company and who was I meeting with, the lady couldn't give me an answer and brushed me off with a "um..I'm not sure you just go for the interview and they will explain".

Anyway I received an sms on my phone telling me where to go but something just didn't sit right with me, so I didn't go. The next day I called the same number (+[protected]) to say I couldn't make it (out of courtesy and curiosity considering no one called to find out why I didn't show for the interview) but no one answered.

On Thursday (20th Jan) I received two missed calls from another number (+[protected]) and when I tried to call back - twice! - it was just blank, no dial tone, nothing. That same number just called me again, about half an hour ago. So I answered - it was a well spoken Filipino sounding lady telling me I had an interview tomorrow at 4.30pm, my CV has yet again been shortlisted and my interview is somewhere on SZR. After typing in the number on Google, I came across this website - I'm pretty furious at this point because I think it's pretty disgusting how they can go around telling people they have interviews and then expecting us to pay with false hopes and promises. I just tried calling back and no one's answering.

We need to put a stop to this so that others out there don't get hurt by these guys. I know the police have a scam number to call them and I think people need to start doing that and set these guys straight, once and for all.

Yes this is true..I'm only a year old living here in Dubai. Last year they called me for an interview, so I went in their office somewhere in Shiek Zayed Rd, I can't exactly recall where it was because I was so new then. One of the lady interviewed me of my experiences, etc..and then she told me if I want in a call center, of course I said yes because she's offering me an 8k dhs a month for a salary. And then she ask me if they can edit my CV and insert some experiences in a call center field because I don't have an experience in a call center. And I asked her it's that possible? and she answered me 'yes'..and she did some computation..and then she told me I have to pay 100dhs for the editing and processing of my CV to their client..I was kind of shock because I'm not expecting it..and I told her 'I don't have money so I can't pay, if possible I will think of it first and then I will come back tomorrow.'..after that, she stand up, throw the calculator in her desk and told me to go and not to go back in the waiting room, and another lady show me the door securing me not to go back in the waiting room, maybe they think that I will inform the others on what they did to me.

And now..after a year..someone phoned me, cp # appeared, this #+[protected], inviting me for an interview tomorrow January 29, 2011 around 12:30pm-6:30pm @ Shiek Zayed Rd. for the Food and Beverage Manager position..I asked the caller which company and then she told me it's from CoreElements. I said OK I'll be there at 1:30pm and told me to wait for the sms for the exact location and for the person to be contacted..then bye thank you.. After our conversation, I realized that CoreElements sounds familiar to me. And then I researched. No website for the CoreElements but I found this site Core Elements dubai Complaints - job scam..and then now I remembered what they did to me last year.. And I will not go there anymore. Thanks a lot for this site.

..what I'm thinking is they're too consistent to be a scam and they're not shifting locations..but hellooo..there's too many companies there hiring without charges..so why spending 150dhs..just be patient..

And for the Labor Law, if this is against the law, collecting money from the aspiring applicants, why their not closing this down?!?

Attention to All Applicants:
If I we're you..keep on sending CVs only in the Company based details, be updated on walk-in interviews, dropping of CVs is fine..just be patient..

Dear Sir,
I want to inform that i have been cheated by Recruitment Agency "Core Elements" located in 23rd Floor, 2309, Grosvenor Commercial Building, Above Noor Islamic Bank, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.
I had Applied for the vacancy Advertised in Dubizzle.com, they called me yesterday (24.01.11) afternoon (1.00pm) from the mobile no [protected] and said that i have been selected for a Vacancy as a Civil Engineer in a large Construction company in Jebel Free Zone & asked me to come and Attend an Interview with Ms Sheikh on Tuesday 25th January 2010 & also sent a text message in the evening (see below).

I travelled all the way from Abudhabi to above mentioned office for interview & saw there are only 3 staff (one male receptionist & 2 female staff), the asked me to sit in the waiting Area. There were another 7-8 guys waiting for their interview. Then they called my name, the lady named "Farzana" conducted the interview. She was asking very simple questions that are usually asked after a person gets selected like, "What do i currently work as?", "Which projects have i worked on?", "Asked my current Salary", "Expected Salary", "After how many notice period can you join" etc. I asked the company name, which she said is "Abstract Contracting". Finally she said that 'Its 90% that i have been selected by the employer representative and now they have to forward my CV to the GM for which i have to fill a form & sign it.
Since its only a recruitment company, I didnt read before signing. After signing they said that i have to pay 300 Dihrams against CV Building, prioritizing, & forwarding my case to the employer. Thinking it is genuine, i paid 300 Dhs without any second thought & also asked for the receipt which they gave. They promised to send me an email today (the same day) to confirm my modified CV & then forward to the company's GM, but i didn't receive any email from them.
I tried to Google "Abstract Contracting", & couldn't find any company by that name. Then i googled, "Core Elements" on which i found hundreds of articles & forums saying its a fraud company. I felt so cheated. Never in my life was i been cheated any time. I tried to call them, but their mobile is switched off. They seemed to use the law well to prevent any trouble, which is why i think they are still at large doing this fraud openly.

I have attached photographs of the documents they gave me, if that would be of any help. I tried to search the advertisement on dubizzle.com & found that it has been deleted. All i wanted is to prevent other poor & innocent people falling into their trap.

If you need any further help, please let me know.

Sincerely,
XXX

Indeed i was called by them for an interview on the 7th of february where they made me waiting for more than 4hours and i could meet approximatly 40 candiadtes out there.which i had applied for certain vacancies through a popular english daily in the field of hospitality industry. The interview was conducted only by an Indian lady and she told me that they are mandating it on behalf of Jabalali Group of Hotels and my CV to be modified and updated it seems..for that job they are charging a sum of Aed300.When i said, i am not prepared to pay now she started to get uneasy and deliberate a bit and asked me if i ve any debit or credit cards on me.When i refused, she got inpatient and ask me to come along with the money and went for the next call..
Guys, what makes me wonder is that, the concern authorities in such a country like UAE and this frauds does'nt look new and still existing and on run..what do you call it? ignorance or negligence?

I get a phone call Core Element for a job opening. in JAZA in semi-governmental company.
I treied to ask the caller more about the company the answer was very vague and I didn’t understand anything. Then I told her send me more info about the job roles and responsibilities by email. For which she said sorry my email is not working now! I will send you location info by sms (Very Strange). I was sceptical so I tried to call them back on this number [protected] but nobody answered. Then I said to myself to go and check it on google and here I am….
Don’t go it is a Core Element is a scam

I received a call lately from this place, and plus they sent me a SMS giving me the location(I work as an Accountant). When I reached there they was a male receptionist who checked my mobile number for the appointment. I was asked to wait and later a lady appeared and took an interview. She took my application and as I was answering her questions she was entering something into her laptop, while giving a glance at me and asking questions in between. She then told me that there is a 'Big-big company' (her words) and since I am 28 she told me they are looking for young and dynamic people at the lower management level(hmm.. pretty convincing). I was expecting a pay of 7000/- Aed and she told me they would pay 8000/- with accommodation and transport. She asked me to fill a form so that she could prioritize my application since there were 55 other candiates... and she slowly added I need to pay 300/- Dhs with the application... I just didn't know what to do. I felt that the only thing between me and my job was 300/- Dhs. but there was another part of me saying what if this is a scam?.. I told her I didn't have the money and I would have to come some other time for it. She then escorted me to the door.

This is my story.. I later googled the name I found this.
My Question is if its a multi-national company.. and looking for young and dynamic candidates... wouldn't they make sure that the candidate doesn't pay anything...
But after this thing in my mind and reading all this I wouldn't pay to them.

I got a call from Ms. Sheikh from (Core Elements consultants company) a fraud scam company who promised that I have been short listed from MNC company in Jebel Ali. They ask Dhs 150 to deposite for service charge but I deny it as I have been warn by many friends. There office is very attractive and well decorated in 23th floor Governor Commercial Tower before Crown Plaza, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubaiu to attract and convince Job Seekers .So, dear desperate job seeker please avoid such fruad interview calls and never waste money to attend interview and pay service charges which is against Intl. labor law. However, why the UAE labor department has not been taken action till now against those fraud manpower company and this is really surprise ! me.

Im surprised by aria's comment...how come they are not a scam...? according to you "It's a scam if you don't get any service or product for the money that you paid."...lets break this down into details...

1- If a company calls you for an interview on behalf of their client, that means you should get into phase one of shortlisting...otherwise, why would they call you in the first place if your CV doesn't match the job?
2- If they are offering a service or product, what is it? are they going to 'PIMP up" my CV so i DO get the 'job' ? isn't that a scam or as you so called it cheating?
3- HR consultancies get paid by their CONSULTING companies, not by the recruits. This is to take off their backs the burden of job interviews of unqualified candidates. Do they even ASK you specifics of the job you are interviewing for ?
4- Did they or have they got ANY back to back contract with an affiliated company hiring THEM as their HR consultant? they don't even have a file cabinet.

It is quick money...but it is people's money...shamefully they are muslims...and Allah will compensate everyone who lost their money their...and they will see Allah's punishment sooner or later..Ameen

Unfortunately, i went there today...and the lady gave me jibberish about how their client liked my CV and would be willing to hire me...and now they are asking 300 dirhams...i told her...if they liked my CV so much, why do i need to pay for your service? I then asked her...specifics about the job...as a scam artist, she replied, its a managerial position with EXCELLENT compensation and that they will forward me a job description within the week.
I promise...if they send me a bogus company or don't send me anything, i will go back, and MAKE them pay 4 taxi trips to and from sharjah...its only fair...so if you DO work for them...warn them...im big, bad and DONT give a damn what happens afterwards...how bad can it go...a free deportation to my country, i dont even pay the flight ticket.

Well dearest job seekers...my honest guess is that these companies work under corrupt 'balushi' immigrated locals...who have 'balushi' cousins in the force to cover for them...but Allah will seek justice for all those who paid 'blood money' in hope that they get a job...Allah is Just...HE is merciful on his believers, except for the Munafiqeen "two faced"...i will keep you updated on what i will do next week...

The biggest liar in this company is AFSHAN SHAIKH. She sits there and telling you all her lies and stealing money from people. My friend was working for this company before and they are treating their employees like slaves, not paying them and asking too much from them which is beyond what they signed for.

I have been interviewed by this company 2 years back, and they asked me to pay 150DHS. They told me that this is a job vacancy for Kanon Group which i don't know on which part of earth started for the position of Administration Manager. This AFSHAN SHAIKH asked stupid questions that are too easy to answer. I am also conducting some of the interviews on my own company and believe me, that is not how a real interview goes. If they have clients, why aren't they providing any copy of the company's contract since they said that the application has been short listed?

After this i met this friend of mine and told me that he/she (this is to protect him from any problem, so i'd rather keep his true identity) worked for this company before and their working visa is under a different management which is just a front of this Core Elements which is very clear that what they're doing is against the law. Then my friend resigned from this fraud company when he knew what they really are doing. But before they let him go, they did [censor] things to him. (sorry for the word)

So, my advice to all job seekers, do research about the company you are going to be interviewed for before going for an interview. If they don't tell you even the name of the exact company, simply don't come for the interview because real companies are very proud to disclose their companies name if they are interested to hire you.

Hi Aria :
Are you a employee of Core Elements ? I believe so, since you defend them wholeheartedly ! Lets see what happens when this company is charged with fraud will you defend them also ? i myself was victim of this scam and promised a position in Canon Group. How many positions does Canon Group have? People like you and Core Elements are the reason this world has gone to the dogs. Scamming innocent people for their hard earned money. But you know I learned something good in this. not to trust anybody. And that is a shame, that we cannot believe in the good in people anymore. We have to be cautious ! And to my fellow employment seekers ( please do not believe Aria she has posted this same comment on all the complaint sites against Core Elements) She wants you to believe that her so called friend has acquired a job through them, to give you hopes and give Core elements a chance.
May God bless you all !

09/04/2011 in Core Elements I had attended an Interview for IT Manager position, at their office in Sheikh zayed Road, near Crown Plaza Hotel Building, I found plenty of well experienced IT Managers, from all the emirates were waiting for the interview, they were waiting even 2/3 hours more from the appointment time, A Office boy acting as GM instructing everyone as don't speak, don't stand, go there, sit... such commands. Finally the immature girl, who doesn't know how to speak, repeating the memorised word again and again with little stuck in between. "I am Farzana Shaikh, I am taking interview on behalf of our client, I am going to shortlist your CV and modify according to their requirement, are you OK with that", I told its OK as long as you will write what is in my CV, while interviewing she gave me a paper and asked me to write my name and sign, and.. “you can pay by debit card or credit card” she added. I smiled and I told I don’t want pay, don’t send my CV. While I asked the people who were already interviewed by Farzana Sheikh, I came to know that plenty of them paid 300 dhs trusting her. In fact they don't have job because when she called me she told that she has received my CV from Employer to assess, but when she asked 300 dhs she told that she is going to modify my cv according to client requirement.
This is absolutely a job scam, so my dear job seekers please don’t pay anything as registration. and please take this issue to the right person if you know how to complained against this, or please write how to take action against them. So, you will save plenty of peoples from cheatings.
It is surprise how they still exist since 2009 with this job scams. Guys plz. don't pay even a single fills to get jobs, without proper confirmation.

This is totally insane of putting somebody's pictures if you have a problem why dont you go to the company directly and ask for your rights, cheated for what nobody in this world is forced to buy services, i have been experienced myself and it was very clearly told this 300 aed is just to modify the cv and not to find a job
If you are a IT professional go and use your skills where its required.
And for complaints board it is good to have such websites but it should also be controlled because some people misuse it.

look! there is another person on this site defending the cheaters! for your information this is not insane because i am very certain that these people are the ones conducting interviews in Core Elements office. everyone on this site will agree to that.

why are you defending them? are you one of them? or maybe you are one of those Ms. Shaikhs' that is on the picture. i'll make sure that these photos will be published in all newspapers across UAE, India, Pakistan, Lebanon, etc. try me.

one thing more, does anyone needed their CV's to be modified? these applicants know themselves more than these people are. if their CVs needs to be modified, the applicant should do the modification, not a stinking company like Core Elements who only takes money from those people who are desperately looking for a job.. Stay where you are xyzsam, i will definitely find out who you are.

this is the mail i received from xyzsam:

"Stop putting personal pictures before you get sued for writting fake stories about somebody's personal life, if you have the guts put your picture and details you [censor]
And may god bless you for your actions"

I know you are one of the lady on these photos i published. For your information, i am not making up stories. Have you tried reading all the comments against your company? these are REAL stories of people who has been scammed by YOU and the only one making stories here are YOU and ARIA, which i believe also worked for your company. I know that there are two people conducting interviews, Afshan SHaikh and Farzana Shaikh. I don't know how you people can sleep peacefully at night. You are monsters that doesn't have conscience. I also don't know why they're parents allowed them to work for such kind of company. It is such a shame for me that a fellow Indian, and a Muslim is doing these lies to people.

Note: i submitted these photos to Gulf News and CNN India and requested them to publish, if possible as a Front Page, in order for all of the people to know who they are and what they do.

TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO'S WITH ME AGAINST THIS FIGHT FOR CORE ELEMENTS, PLEASE SUBMIT ALL YOUR COMMENTS TO XYZSAM FOR HER TO KNOW THE REAL THING IS AND FOR HER TO WAKE UP FROM HER DREAMS THAT CORE ELEMENTS IS DOING SOMETHING GOOD FOR EVERYONE.
