In May 2021, Country Cousins Upholstery in Florence, SC provided a quote for the work, explained how they "were more expensive because they take the chairs down to the frame and repair and/or replace everything before recovering" though it would be 3-4 months before my 3 chairs would be redone. On June 3rd, I purchased fabric from their store. A friend with me in May received her sofa before Thanksgiving and I expected the same.
As the months rolled on, I received multiple reasons for continued delays: family illnesses - several with multiple issues and continued promises.
On July 29th, 2022, I received and paid for 2 of the chairs. On delivery, I questioned the scratches on the legs and was told "we don't fix that". Upon further inspection, I pointed out that no arm covers or fabric were received.
On 9.2.22, the recliner was delivered. I was sick that day and couldn't locate my checkbook; they took the recliner back. When returned, the odd look was explained "as due to the stuffing". One set of arm covers came later, but were too small to fit the arms. The chair did not recline as it did and upon closer inspection was poorly recovered.
No adjustments were made due to other issues and I doubted any would be. Please help. Thanks.
Desired outcome: A refund to address the frustration and effort required to get a response as promised - 15-20% Or reimbursing what it would cost to have work completed elsewhere.
