credit cards review: credit shield too long to approve! 13

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I have applied for an insurance because I lost my job last month, good that I have paying my "credit shield". Now first gulf bank still demanding me to pay my due every month until the insurance approved it! what the heck! They said that insurance will take 2-3 months to approve it? This is really useless, because perhaps by that long period of time I'll be getting another job!

I complained because first gulf bank is not having transparency on their costumers, they care about only their money, and keep you more on debt! All the first gulf bank personnel will only talk about the issue but they will not elaborate what will happen next coz they already received your payment.

I extremely suggest not to get credit cards on this bank! and if you do have? Don't ever get from them this so called "credit shield", which they say it will protect you if you lost your jobs! but actually it will burden you, and you will still keep on paying them till it approves! non-sense!

last 7 digit of my credit card is 927810x, here you have given krtan instead of ketan, please correct the spelling in the name on credit card

Hello,
I had applied for uti creditcard in the mid of sept-07, through your bank agent Mr Pankaj Patel.
I recieved verification calls,home visits, etc. for so many times. I also asked for status of my application to your a'bad office,but some lady over there answered as no details visible. I dont understand the working of your employees with such an unprofessional manner,they are least concerned with the customers need.Then why does Axis bank boast of customer care 24x7 at your service. stop ditching by saying so, when your staff is not well versed with their duties. Plz first train them ,then go on telling to people outside bla bla bla bla. I want to know status of my application. I would apprreciate your prompt action.

I GOT AN CALL ON 3/3/08 SAYING THAT I WOULD GET AN LOAN AND CREDIT CARD. THINKING IT WAS THE REAL THING I DIDNT THINK AT THE TIME IT MAYBE A SCAM AND THE SAD THING ABOUT IT I GAVE OUT ALL MY PERSONAL INFRO . SO WHAT I DID WAS TO COLSE OUT MY ACCOUNT . SO THEY TOLD ME TO GO TO THIS WEBSITE TO CHECKYOURBALANCE AN THER WAS NOTHING SO I AM HOPING YOU CAN TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON . THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AN HELP

Last month I had 3 credit card statements that I did not recieve therefore making me late on all of them. I had a low rate on all of them. Two of them was only 3.99%. I have had some of these for a long time. This looks like a scam to me. Why else would I not recieve all three of them in the same month. It looks like they all did that so I would be late causing me to lose my rate. Have you heard of this happening to anyone else? I guess there could possibly be other explanations for my statments not showing up but it looks like a scam to me!

advanta raised my interest rate from 15.43 % to 37.99% in a 2 month period.They told me that if i opted out
the rate would stay at 15%, but i would not be able to use card.In other words they would cancel my cards.
They cancelled cards, and still raised rates to 37%.Over the 4 year period i used their cards, most of the time
balance was paid off monthly. I have talked to card representatives twice and they would not consider lowering
rates.

Hello,
How do I become part of the class action suit against, Chase, B of A, capitol one and Advanta? They all have decided to increase their interest rate above and beyond the fair act. I've paid on time and now they want to increase my rates to outrageous amounts. I want to be a part of the class action suit. You'd think they would cooperate especially since they got so much money for their bailout!

We have to be smart enough to know what is money and life about. Using credit cards; first, eating the food, digesting it, pass the motion and after a few days with the same routine, finally, you had the awareness to pay the costs of what you had processed in your stomach just to avoid paying extra money for what you had! Is that what is life about. Think and ask for yourselves. Why there are so many known and unknown diseases have exist among us. Most of the diseases are caused by your stomach. Indirectly, paying later, eat first can cause more than that.

don't know from where to start, Firstly I was not interested in credit cards but from your side marketing people called many time for credit card then I took it.It is my worst experience in a first go, I have purchased desktop dated 3/3/2011 from S.S.D.N INFOSOLUTIONS G-2 Raja House Nehru place, Before purchasing I have called many times to confirm that whether this particular product available on EMI basis or not, All your customer care Executives confirmed that yes it is available on EMI basis, From the Merchant where i have purchased also charged me extra around 2000RS just because of EMI later on I called to customer care to confirmed that this amount on done EMI basis or not they said it was cancelled stated that no reason, I have called many times to customer care but all were blank then finally a lady from your customer care side said we need to forward the complaint, she forwarded the complaint then on dated 26/03/2011
jaspreet named executives called me and saying that your request for EMI has cancelled, reason behind that you have not payed the membership fees, I told her that I 've already made the payment of membership which is 219 Rs before the due date 22/03/2011, then she said we'll get back to you with in 24 hrs, Now I don't know when this 24 hr'll be over.This is really mentally harassment that you HDFC credit card People are giving, I am holding account in HDFC from last 4 years My perception was very good for HDFC but know it is ridiculous.
