Our Cuisinart toaster burst into flames. We were able to unplug and extinguish with minimal damage to our kitchen. We contacted customer service on 10/31/22, 11/4/22 and 11/9/22 and were told each time that corporate handles fire claims. Additionally, they ensured that we would be contacted within 24-48 hours. As of today, 11/15/22 we have not heard from anyone at the corporate office. At this time we are not seeking restitution for the minor damage just a new toaster. We cannot fathom why Cuisinart is not interested in the cause of the fire in their product and not prioritizing this matter.
