Today' [protected]. Was forced to get a deep blue debit account last year when I filed my taxes with liberty tax in order to receive the early advance refund everything was fine last year this year I just did my taxes today with liberty tax and they said the money would go to my account with deep blue debit. Well a few weeks ago I decided to log into the deep blue debit account because I hadn't been on it for a year since I got my taxes last year and there was $180 in negative and was overdrafted which I have no idea how that even happened how does it prepaid card even let you overdraft in the first place so that was not my doing anyways I made a payment of $160 to them on january 6th 2023. Which left $20 left in the negative he would think just like most banks or prepaid cards work if you get a deposit into that account they just take the money right off the top and I figured that's what they would have done when I got my taxes deposited was just take the $20 that I still owe them. Nope. I left liberty tax with an approval loan of $1350 was deposited into my deep blue debit account went to the gas station to withdraw the money and get some gas and nope it says please call the card issuer cannot complete transaction. Even though the balance says available balance says 1350 for whatever reason it still wouldn't let me use my own money so I called the company on the number on the back of the card and they tell me that there's a block on my card because of the negative $20 I said okay well I now have 1350 available in my account take the stupid $20 that I owe you and let me access my money! Well they told me that it was going to take hour for the block to come off which makes no sense at all how hard can it be to take the money out of the account and apply it to the negative balance and then let me access the rest of my money?! Well here we are 6 hours later and I still am not able to use my card or withdraw any money and I have called them two more times and the next person I spoke with told me it's going to take two more days before I can access my own money this is ridiculous these people are thieves
Desired outcome: Block taken off my card ASAP and access to my funds that's my money that is my money and I would like access to it right now
netspend is a scam i filed a complaint wrote the letter that i didn’t authorize it and now i have to wait 2 more months when i followed tge procedure…im never doin business with them again and my family n friends wont either
On 2/23 the Irs sent my fed refund to liberty tax aka (deep Blue) they never alerted me . I called everyday for 7 days no direct deposit . I call my tax preper and she told yes it there deep blue has it . So i call again they wont take me off hold when they finally answer they dont have the money call irs .
