Deer Park Animal Hospital - PADS review: Dental work

I took my dog to this discounted surgery clinic because she has had procedures done here before. This was a tooth extraction due to a fractured tooth. I confirmed with deer park weeks ago that they got a note from my regular vet stating exactly what needed to be done. Today when my dog had already been put under anesthesia I get a call from the vet asking which tooth needed to be extracted... is that not something you should know BEFORE you put her under? They then stated they do not feel the tooth needs to come out and would only cause her more pain if they did take it out. They charged me $50 less than the original quote when she didnt even get the tooth taken out and didnt get any meds sent home with her. I am upset at the unprofessionalism and the fact they put my dog through that without even confirming what needed to be done to her...
