Purchased a male from this woman (Cheri Rusich) Recieved this puppy he was definately gorgeous and he was the puppy I purchased. He developed a heart murmur and I contacted Cheri and asked her some questions as I read on one of the pics of the puppies this was a "tight breeding". I asked her about it, she asked where I heard this and I told her was one of her comments on the litter. She was very vague, did further checking of the bloodlines of the Sire and Dam and found they had the same Sire. VonZennith Dasco and VonZennith Lia, Tight Breeding, fancy word for, where I come from this is "inbreeding". As time went on and I sent her emails regarding Mercury's health and concern for aggression issues, she indicated nothing wrong with the two other pups, but she did not sell these pups? I must be doing something wrong, I have 3 oyher rottweilers and they don't behave like him?
I had to put Mercury down today, Jan 22/13. I lost a family member today, this situation could have been avoided if I had been told in the beginning of the line breeding this woman insists is "normal" her opening line on her website is " We are a code of ethics breeder" how far from the truth is this. If this was the case I would still have my precious Mercury and would not have to feel as if I have lost my best friend. He had just turned 2 Dec. 03/2012.
This code of Ethics Breeder, knew what I was looking for in a puppy but knowingly sold me an inbred puppy for $3500.00 because I was looking to have a male with good blood lines to breed to my female from Carters Shaka Zulu bloodlines.
Not only does she not stand behind her dogs but she turns the situation around and makes you out to be the bad guy. Really Cheri how can you sleep at night knowing you are violating the laws of human nature.
You are no better than an animal abuser messing with their brains and genetics. You were sent the documentation to verify the heart murmur and the aggression issues. As for the "accident" litter I called you to advise what happened with my son and him letting the dogs get together, not for advice on how to care for the litter, please I would not trust you on anything let alone ask for help from you, I did not have to tell you about this litter as you would have never known but unlike you, I am honest and the families that adopted these puppies were fully aware of Mercury's condition.
When I read you contract I was curious as to why you would put a "disclaimer" on behaviour of the puppy destructive and aggressive, Now I know why, lawyer must have advised you do this especially with your unethical breeding practises.
Poor Cheri, Apparently you are not only grasping at straws to rebuild what little credibility you have left and well feel sorry for your next victim. Sad part is the dog is the one that suffers, the poor individual you neglect to tell about your inbreeding practises.
You can't read either, investigation done and we were found not to be at fault, Read the comment on what the autopsy report stated.
As for publically displaying documentation in regards to my poor Mercury, having to be put to sleep and cremated as I still want him to be with me in spirit. There is something called a Privacy Act and will I leave that door open to you so you can attempt to sue me, your stupider than I gave you credit for. You see Cheri you brag about being a millionaire if this was really the case then you would refund my money as you stand behind your "product" as you profess, so like everything else that has come out of your mouth, just more crap ! I can sleep at night knowing I will see Mercury soon, how do you? I hear you don't even have a pet dog they are not allowed in your house. Good grief I hope you are not a puppy mill . :(
Still claiming you have no documentation. Wow. You are a real piece of work.
Looks like you finally are going out of business. Thank goodness now no more dogs will suffer or their owners from your disgusting breeding practices. Losing their best friends.
It cost you your business for your arrogance and denial.
Karma Mrs. Ruzich, I will see my Mercury one day.
Andrea contacted me and told me the puppy I sold her had a heart murmur. I asked her to send me the veterinarians report stating that this problem was diagnosed, she never sent me any proof. I also told Andrea I would replace the dog but she had to neuter him and send me proof of the disease and proof of neutering. The next thing I knew she called me and asked me about raising puppies and told me that the supposed heart diseased puppy I sold her just had a litter with her female. She said she always did intend to purchase my male so she could breed to her female. I was speechless. I told her she was in violation of our contractual agreement and that I could repossess the puppy I sold her at this time because of what she'd done. I once again asked her for the vet's report on the heart disease. She didn't send it. Then just a few weeks ago I was once again contacted by Andrea and she demanded all her money back for the dog I sold her. She told me she had to put him to sleep because of his horrible temperament, too aggressive and she couldn't handle him. Seriously Andrea? Please send me the proof that he had a heart condition, and proof that you put him to sleep, and please send proof of his temperament issues. I'm sure your vet can vouch for temperament issues, a letter will suffice. With no evidence provided by you, I will not be providing you with any type of compensation. I find your ethics to be of the lowest in that you intentionally bred a dog you purport to have heart issues, and when I asked you if you presented the puppy buyers with the knowledge that supposedly the sire had a bad heart, and according to you a bad temperament, you said no, that the puppies seemed fine so there was no need to inform them about anything. Andrea, you are the most dishonest person out there breeding dogs, and you should be ashamed of yourself not only for your actions but also for your bold lies.
Andrea, you never sent me any vets reports on your dog. I invite you to post them here for all to see. I'd also like to see a death certificate. There's a photo attachment feature so you can just show everybody those vet reports that you never sent me. Had I known you were so unscrupulous I would have never placed a dog with you. I found this about you on the internet, showing your callous attitude towards the killing of a dog in your own grooming shop:
Submitted Photo Whiskey, a four-year-old male Shih Tzu, suddenly died during a routine grooming visit at a Spruce Grove business last fall. Whiskey's owners said the groomers are responsible for his death.

A Spruce Grove family is mourning the loss of their Shih Tzu dog after he dropped dead during a routine trip to the groomers last fall.
Deanna Thomas dropped off her two Shih Tzu's, Whiskey and Tequila, at Mahvlys Paws Spa & Boutique in the early morning like she had routinely done once a month since 2008. A few hours later she received a call that Whiskey was dead.
"It was very saddening, " said Thomas, who was told that Whiskey died while one of the groomers was attempting to place a muzzle on him.
"He peed on the table and they cleaned it up. Then it took both of them to put a muzzle on and that's when he collapsed."
Thomas said Tequila showed signs of stress and red bleeds in the eye following a vet examination after the incident. The Thomas family said they weren't aware the business was under new management and holds Mahvlys Paws entirely responsible for the death of Whiskey.
One of the reasons why they are speaking out over half a year after the incident is because a lawsuit was in the works and they were advised not to speak to the media.
The claim, seeking the replacement of Whiskey including neutering of a new dog and loss of wages, went through Mahvlys Paws insurance company and was denied.
Andrea Mah bought the dog grooming business located in Spruce Grove last year. Mah was not at the building when the incident occurred and the staff member who was working on Whiskey has since quit. Mah said Mahvlys Paws is not responsible for Whiskey's death.
She went on to say that Thomas' dogs' behavior was getting progressively worse at each visit and that they were "extremely difficult to groom."
The reason muzzling was needed is because they began biting the groomers, Mah said.
"Naturally all parties involved were negatively affected by the circumstances of the tragedy which developed, " said Mah in a statement.
Mah said their goal and mission in operating Mahvlys is to provide a safe, clean and responsible environment in which to "pamper our beloved pets." She also said her and her staff are pet owners and dog lovers who between two families own a combined total of 8 dogs.
"Unfortunately the situation turned into a legal matter, rather than an unfortunate medical dilemma which no one could have predicted, as there was no indication from the owner, prior to the grooming that there was an underlying medical condition. I believe that the owner never gave me/us the benefit of the doubt, if they had taken opportunity to understand the circumstances and eyewitness statements they may have had a more clear understanding that everything that could be done was done in the best interests of the dog and the dog owners."
The underlying medical condition that Mah refers to is stated on the autopsy performed by Whiskey's vet that said, "the heart seemed slightly enlarged for the breed of dog (Shih Tzu.)"
However, Thomas disputes the claim of an underlying medical condition and said that Whiskey was a "perfectly healthy dog."
The autopsy also read, "Unfortunately, sudden deaths in dogs are sometimes difficult to resolve. Sudden death can be caused by pathological processes that are not apparent at necropsy such as conduction abnormalities, biochemical imbalance, or pathology in other organs not examined in this case such as brain."
Mah said she has received tremendous support from the community since the airing of this story on an episode of Global newws' troubleshooter in which, due to time constraints, Mah was unable to do an on-air interview to share her side of the story.
Meanwhile, Thomas plans on getting another Shih Tzu in the future and is now taking Tequila to a private groomer whom she knows personally.
She wants the public to "beware" of whom they're taking their dogs to.
Dog grooming is not a regulated industry in Alberta so experts warn pet owners to due their research.

I don't have the autopsy report. You have never sent me any reports of any kind on Mercury, ever. Put up or shut up.
I will never refund money to a person who refuses to provide one iota of proof that the dog had any medical issues, temperament issues or was put to sleep. Only an idiot would refund money to a liar who has not provided any documentation whatsoever and who continues to refuse to provide documentation.
I've told you repeatedly, over and over, send me the documentation. You have my email address, send it there. Stop lying about sending me the proof.
All my dogs come in my house and go with me everywhere I go. All my dogs are my companions, trained, shown, who live with us day in and day out.
