Drayton Valley Ford review: Powertrain warranty used on recall

They replaced an engine 10 months ago. They used my powertrain warranty to cover the cost of the engine installation. When I began to have troubles I took it back to them. They asked for all the service records, which I gave. Candace the personnel whom I was dealing with had stated that warranty was covering the costs. Then she went about making a claim to Global Warranty, without my approval. To my understanding only myself or my sales rep are to make a claim. Global decided not to cover my warranty without diagnosing my car themselves. I am being told that I am expected to pay the $9000.00 fee for faulty engine repairs. My complaint is why was I told that warranty was covering the cost but now I am told it is not covered. I have 2 different warranties, plus the new engine installment should have a 2 yr service work warranty.. (which allegedly is deleted because of the powertrain warranty they used) I Also my car at the time of first repairs was recalled. My complaint here is why did Drayton Valley Ford use my powertrain warranty to fix a recall that was a manufacturer issue?
