I bought two kittens from the Dreamz Himalayan Cattery. After several days I noticed that one kitten had serious skin bacteria, which afterwards turned into worm ring. I went to the veterinary, but they couldn’t get rid of it. I tried to reach the breeder, but she ignored all my phone calls and messages. Just avoid this company and don’t buy cats or kittens from this cattery. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Let’s share views about this company.

Well here we go again this breeder is always gong out of her way to make DREAMZ look like a bad breeder when she needs to look no further then her own home, but yet we have no proof of anything no documentation what so ever, just her word. What occurred was that this breeder bought a cat and it developed Ringworm 1 1/2 months to 2 months after purchase. Now as any breeder know it shows up within 2 weeks of contact. Therefore he got Ringworm from his new home and is the new owners problem. Now to make this even worse she decides to put the cat down for this, really for some thing treatable why would you ever. l'm sorry it is not our problem that our baby went into such a home she called herself a friend so we trusted her to keep our baby safe, after all we let him go to her at a pet price as she was a friend. We expect that our babies are kept in a clean home and treated correctly and with respect and not put to sleep over some thing that is treatable. l've told this story to so many breeders who has bought several cats from us and are more then willing to tell anyone how healthy our babies are, just contact us and we'll give great references. This woman is clearly harassing us and bullying us with no proof so shame on her and anyone that believes such BS. And we are shocked that any site would post anything like this with out proper documentations.

I have bought several cats and kittens from Lynn and Ben from Dreamz they were and are all healthy cats. It's clear the kitten got ringworm from fluffytoes cattery in Canada look at the time line and then to try and blame Lynn and Ben for your ringworm problem is sicking but even more sicking is having that baby killed because you were to lazy to treat the kitten.you are a heartless person Cathy. It's very clear that you show no compassion or respect for the lives of the beautiful creatures just $$$ signs.

We all know who wrote this complaint and it's really rather sad that the person that euthanized this kitten due to something that is treatable is the one who is complaining. I don't see the lady you are bad mouthing putting complaints all over the Internet about not selling to YOU because you may kill another breeders cats! Yet you insist on spreading lies and rumors about her and this kitten and what happened to it? You refused to send any veterinary documents stating what you have said is even true and you were asked for this information time and time again. You opted to have a kitten euthanized (that more than likely developed ringworm due to being in your home due to WHEN the lesions appeared) because you didn't want to spend the time, effort and money to treat it? I am sorry, but I have NO respect for someone that can so easily discard of a LIVING THING! Please just do us all a favor and stop with the nonsense. Honestly, it's getting old and you are going to give YOURSELF a bad name if you keep it up!

I have 3 cats from Lynn. I'm an experienced breeder and my contract guarantees all kittens for FIP, but it also states that the buyer needs to have necropsy by a licensed pathologist. I never had a single case since I had my first litter and hope to stay this way. I'm really frightened about this sickness since there is no DNA tests available yet. Did you have necropsy done on your kitty? Only necropsy can give you a secure diagnosis for FIP. Otherwise it's just suspicion.
About bacteria turning into ringworm, I also didn't understand. How can a bacteria become a fungus? Do you have cultures? Or just the vets opinion? A vet's eye is not enough for diagnosis.
If somebody sells me a cat with ringworm I'll be furious. It happened to me and took me 2 and a half years to get rid of it. I had to get rid of good rugs, mattresses, beds, etc...In my country almost all Persian catteries(if not all) are infected and they say that it's a Persian thing. it's not! Some breeders here get upset at me because I go to public saying that Persians are not born with ringworm, they get infected in the cattery. Breeders here go crazy (lol...).I don't care because I'm saying the truth and I'll never buy a cat from them anyway. But to accuse someone, you have to show proofs. Hope that you have them. Sorry for your losses. I'd try another vet next time. I only take my cats to feline specialists.
My website is www.lilacpersiancats.com wher you can see my 3 cats from Dreamz cattery

Sorry to tell you it's not who you thought that put in this complaint. You know you are pathetic and a very big liar half of what you're telling people is not true and you know it remember that you told me Motor City Club show that how you can't believe all the cats and kittens you have lost lately and you didn't know why. Of course you will deny that I know because you don't have problems you have a perfect cattery don't make me f****** laugh. And it's pretty sad at the shows that if other breeder beats and you know I feel sorry for that girl that bought two kittens from you and had very major problems she has complained on this site about you and you didn't even have the common courtesy to call that girl back you know you do not stand by your word so you need to stop lying nasty who is nasty I think you gotta look in the mirror and see who's nasty you're the meanest person I've ever met on this earth your cat is bad mouth those people and you think your cat is better than everybody else is well you need a wake up call because you're not . your cat . Who talks bad about her part in you have nothing nice to say about anybody when it comes to competition when you lose I have seen it over and over and over again nasty who is nasty maybe you should look in the mirror first before you start talking and looking at other people. Half of these people that you are talking to on Facebook and wherever they have never met you think they have not ever seen you in your best because you know it would be a totally different story if they did. So get a life and leave me the hell alone because you are dead to me too

Sadly I have to agree with the OP. While Lynn is an incredibly nice person (contrary to how she comes off in her replies here) I have a concerns about the health of the cats she sells. I purchased a 9 month old male from her this past September and I absolutely adore him. However, from day one he has had problem after problem ranging from joint issues, GI problems, and ringworm. I have spent more on what I paid to buy him in vet bills and to date he has been diagnosed with the following: bilateral patellar luxation (slipping knee caps), ring worm (just as the OP said happened with her cat, giardia, worms (both caused chronic diarrhea which led to near ulceration of the anus, and stenotic nares (abnormally small nostrils), and brachycephalic airway syndrome. I ended up contracting the ringworm which has cost me time in seeking medical treatment and the cost of cleaning my home top to bottom to control the spread.

Now, when I initially emailed Lynn about the knee cap issue, her response was to say she would give me a new cat if I had to put him down. That, to me, was a major clue that she is likely a backyard breeder but I’ll return to that in a moment. I followed up in email telling her I would not be putting him down and later told her about the intestinal issues and at that point said that this has cost me a lot of money. I no longer received any reply from Lynn going forward and that was another thing that tipped off the concern.

So why do I think Lynn and Ben are backyard breeders. First is this ever-present obsession with insisting that she’s not. If she has to continually protest that she is not something then it’s a good chance that she’s guilty of that issue. Second, any breeder who seems to always have animals available with no waiting list is obviously overbreeding and this leads to increased chances of illness and poor breed standards. Third, she will not allow prospective customers to come to their home to meet the cats. Every breeder I spoke with before her said without hesitation that I was welcome in their home to meet my potential cat. To insist against this implies she is hiding the conditions her cats live in. Finally, there was no official paperwork that came with my cat, nor did she provide a contract or anything else that would come with adopting/buying a purebred cat. I have had two purebred collies and both experiences were world’s away from my experience with the Dreamz Cattery.

In the end, in spite of all the complications, my cat is a wonderful addition to my family. He is beautiful both in looks and personality. I have worked hard to get his health back to a point where he can have a nice life but if i had it to do over I would have found another, more reputable breeder and if I had read this then I would have absolutely avoided this cattery. It is my belief that my cat came from a backyard breeder and he ultimately is a rescue. I advise anyone reading this to look elsewhere. Although the Dreamz cats are beautiful, you are gambling with a potential problem that could cost you a fortune financially and could lead to you becoming ill yourself.

As for Lynn, you seem like a nice person but you really ought to reassess your situation and stop putting these poor creatures and your potential customers at risk. You also should return the money to the people you have harmed with your shady practices. You have a lot to learn about ethics and compassion for animals.

I have attached a photo of the worst part of the ringworm infection on my arm but to date I have 7 patches that are being treated. I’m also happy to show copies of my vet bills to anyone that wants proof.

Lynn is a very respected breeder who has been breeding for over 40 years and supplies breeding stock to an abundance of Catteries around the country and world. I have kittens from Lynn one from 2020 and one from 2021 and they are amazing in every way.

I purchased 2 beautiful kittens from this cattery in 2016. Neither kitten had and health issues upon or after Rival. No "bacteria" no ring worm. Both cats are completely healthy and happy. Lynn and Ben have been great to deal with, very helpful with any questions and I have never had any issues reaching her for anything. I've seennlosts in various sites from this lady, who apparently purchased these cats years ago, rovides no evidence, yet she still persists with trying to smear a reputable breeder. Considering she said kittens had bacteria that turned into worm ring..i1. Completely impossible. Ringworm is not bacterial, its a fungus...and its ring worm notnworm ring.. If u are gonna make a claim make sure you know what its called and how it develops.
