I am mrs chitra lekha awootar residing at 59, labourdonnais avenue, quatre-bornes, mauritius. I have been a customer of dstv (access package+indian channel) since 2007 (11 years)
My monthly subscription is rs1360
Over these eleven years, I must say I have had lots and lots of signal problems with my dstv. Out of 132 months of subscription, I should have had more than 75 months without signal.
Of course I contacted the dstv hotline and often got a positive intervention.
Once a technician came to my place and even changed my dish.
Unfortunately, 2 months before the world cup we got another signal problem.
I went to a dstv outlet in ebene way and the matter got resolved but only for a few days. I even paid an extra rs370 for one month's subscription for sports'channel to enable my family to watch football. To my utter despair, we never got the signal. A technician phoned me on 7th july to inform me that he was supposed to come to my place to fix things up but he was unwell.
So I told him not to worry provided he came on the next day.
The world cup is over and he never turned up!
Thank god we have mcvision and we managed to watch the finals!
I am requesting you to stop my subscription with immediate effect.
I am going to the bank on monday and advise them to stop my standing order in favour of dstv.
I feel very frustrated and disappointed with the service provided and I feel I have simply wasted so much money unnecessarily over these 11 years.
I really regret having taken this subscription.
