WARNING! DO NOT BECOME PATIENTS OR DO BUSINESS, with Edwin Martinez De Andino Or ANY OF The Staff/DOCTORS @ Aiken Rheumatology-Ostporosis (ALL THEIR CLINICS ARE AN INCOMPETENT & NEGLIGENT MEDICAL STAFF & RACISTS)! Me & my husband's experience there as patients was a complete nightmare, their nurses are often rude, the staff always lie to patients, give false medical advice, the wait time has always been horrible, and our physician was- Edwin Martinez De Andino (who should have his medical licenses revoked, plus he was charged with 1st degree Burglary!) -He knowingly prescribed medication to my husband that was potientially fatal, and causes impotancy! Edwin Martinez De Andino recommended this drug to him, without revealing to him, AT ALL about all the many harmful side effects, and now after following his advice, my husband has foot & ankle problems, and was critically hospitalized TWICE for using the mediciation that was wrongfully prescribed.. He even refused to monitor him with follow up visits, to make sure he was o.k., he was supposed to administer the drug at the clinic, but ordered him to take the drug on his own & administer it at home. Other physicians we talked to since then told us to get another doctor, and that Edwin Martinez De Andino should've warn my husband about the side effects, and that it was irresponsible & medical negligent of him to let a patient with no medical knowledge to administer any injections of this drug on his own without being monitered at a hospital! On top of that, we found out from another doctor, that my husband didn't even need to drug that This crappy doctor prescribed, and that Edwin Martinez De Andino lied to him about their reasoning for giving him the drug! I don't want another couple or patient, to go through the hell that we went through, while being patients at this lousy medical clinic... Plus we've heard fro other former patients; that these uninfortunate situations are not the first time, that it has happen- THESE INCOMPETENT DOCTOR Edwin Martinez De Andino @ Aiken Rheumatology-Ostporosis; have been medical negligent many times before, accused of criminal activity, & has been sued alot for racial allegations, and medical malpractice!

Funny how this person has many negative post towards several doctors and the post are all racial in nature. There is no way but to assume that she has an arterial motive. I am of african american race and have always been treated with respect. WHile waiting to be seen I have being around multiple other patients of AA race, none whom have ever complain of such ridiculous racial allegations. All other allegations from this person are false. He is an amazing physician who will give to you all time necessary for questions. His empathy is unparalleled. One visit to him and she will be proven what she is, a trouble maker.

I am white. The first posting is correct, except from the racism. That was probably an assumption of this couple based on the horrible treatment they received. Folks, it is not YOU! Dr. Martino de Andino is a horrible doctor. He misdiagnosis, prescribes dangerous medications, suggests other procedures or operations (All at his medical offices with other doctors) that are unnecessary . He will give you endless CAT SCANS every month. When you finally run out of money for the monthly scans, he will dismiss you as his patient, via letter, claiming you never followed ANY of his instructions.

His staff is incompetent & negligent. None of the nurses can put in an IV correctly and you will end up with an arm infusion. I had a procedure scheduled and the nurse told me TWICE, in front of my husband, the wrong hospital to go to. Then they blamed me for not showing up! The hospital I was sent to had no record of this procedure! I showed up at the hospital the nurse told me to go to-ON TIME! I spent 13 hours in Emergency room at that hospital and never got the procedure preformed. I am sure the nurse never admitted HER ERROR.

The doctor tells you you will have no bad reactions and you have bad reactions. He also prescribes the most costly medications on the market and gives you no alternative options.

I have no doubt anyone who writes this doc & staff are good is probably working there as one of his staff.

PLEASE PEOPLE WHATEVER YOUR SKIN COLOR, FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!

I saw this doc yesterday, May 3 for osteoporosis. He told me I had lost bone even while taking Prolia every 6 months for 3 years. He did not tell me how much bone I lost but told me the only drug I could take at this point is Tymlos, which has only been on the market about one month with terrible side effects. He did not recommend Forteo or Reclast which have been around for years; in fact Forteo is due to come off patent in June 2018. It would not surprise me if this doc gets kick backs from the manufacturer for prescribing it, even though there are other proven drugs out there. I would NOT recommend him to anyone and he would not even give me a copy of my latest bone density test done in April 2018 in his office, wanted to charge me $15. plus .65 cents for the page.
