EZPass and Thrifty Car Rental review: Platepass fraudulent charges rental agreement #833829275

Thrifty Car Rental utilizes a service called PlatePass which allows its customers to use cashless lanes or all - electronic tollways without using a personal transponder or paying the toll authority directly. Your records indicate I declined the PlatePass All-Inclusive tolling option at the start of your rental. I did not request this service and the vehicle was equipped with platepass anyways; however, to activate platepass you need to open the drawer, which I did not. On several occasion while getting a toll ticket and while paying my toll it would activate the toll booth erroneously saying EZPASS was used. I still paid my tolls and even complained about the platepass to the rental car counter when I returned the vehicle. I refuse to pay this bill! I did not request or use this service. Your platepass device is defective and activated the toll booth, not I. I request an immediate call to discuss these issues at [protected]. Your automated service did nothing but do a do-loop and wouldn't let me speak to a representative. Additionally, I have contacted my credit card company and will dispute the charge when it posts!
