FADED GLORY BRAND CLOTHING HAS POOR QUALITY PRODUCT.
MYSELF AND MY FAMILY HAVE BEEN WAL-MART CUSTOMERS FOR MANY MANY YEARS. IN THAT TIME WE HAVE PURCHACED LOTS OF FADED GLORY BRAND CLOTHING. IN RECENT YEARS HOWEVER, THE FADED GLORY BRAND QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN.
I PURCHASE TWO PAIR OF FADED GLORY JEANS AND THE THIRD TIME I WORE THEM THE SIDE SPLIT OUT, ON BOTH PAIR. MY FATHER HAS HAD THE SAME FATE WITH SEVERAL PAIRS OF HIS FADED GLORY BLUE JEANS.
I HAVE ALSO BOUGHT MY NEPHEW A PACKAGE OF BOYS FADED GLORY UNDERWEAR. THE FIRST TIME HE PUT THEM ON THE ELASTIC RIPPED AWAY. I RETURNED THAT PACKAGE TO HAVE THE REPLACEMENT UNDERWEAR DO THE VERY SAME THING. I RETURNED THE UNDERWEAR FOUR TIMES AND HAD THE SAME RESULT BEFORE I FINALLY ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK TO BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND.
WE BUY FADED GLORY BRAND FOR THE REASONABLE PRICES, AND BECAUSE OF THAT WE ARE ALSO USED TO THEM WEARING OUT A LITTLE BIT FASTER THAN A HIGHER PRICED ITEM. BUT WE HAVE ALSO BEEN ABLE TO GET A COUPLE YEARS WORTH OF USE OF THE CLOTHING. HAVING THE CLOTHING FALL APART THE VERY FIRST TIME IT IS WORE IS AN OUTRAGE! IF THIS CONTINUES WE MAY FEEL THE NEED TO SHOP ELSEWHERE FOR A BRAND WE CAN TRUST TO LAST AT LEAST A YEAR.
Hi, I am sorry about your experience with the clothing. I came upon this site when trying to find the company's address. I just sent them a letter telling them that I will Never buy jeans other than Faded Glory. I purchased my first pair(yes I am a lady who Hates trying on and buying jeans) on a rack at Walmart for $3 I did not try them on in the store for fear I would not get the size 8's on or off in the dressing room . I feared having an employee have to peel them off. Well I finally tried them at home. They fit perfectly and I have never received so many compliments EVER on how slimming they made my look. Now that is worth a million dollars esp. since I generally ALWAYS have to buy at least a 12 in designer brands. They are by far the best quality jeans I have ever worn and god I can call them my"skinny jeans" Karen
Faded glory products are not made in USA only maybe 5%
Only 5 percent of the Faded Glory products sampled were American-made; 95 percent hailed from sweatshop nations like Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, and Mexico.
I need my jeggings back! Please update when you have news!
Hello,
When I first came accross Faded Glory clothing, I thought they were unique with the extra pocket on the left leg; the stars in the front pockets; the two belt loops close together in the back and the heavy weight of the fabric. So I bought a pair and found it to be a very comfortable jean pant.
After a couple of years, I noticed the stars were gone.
Some time after that, I noticed the crotches were wearing thin faster.
The material was becoming cheaper.
I have an old pair of faded Faded Glory that was at the bottom of the pile in the bottom drawer I havent worn for over a year. I put them on and WOW, what a differance! With what they are selling now, the quality is by far superior in the old jeans; like Levi's used to be.
It is a hit and miss on getting a good jean that will last with the FG co.
Well, that's my view on the new and improved Faded Glory jean.
I still buy them, but for how much longer...?
i am a women who has always bought mens faded glory jeans for work, and i could always count on them lasting at least a year. recently i purchased 4 pair and out of the 4 pair 3 are defective. i agree the quality has really gone downhill. the one pair was really loose and i like it that way for work and when i sat down the button popped off, the other pair the zipper messed up the 3rd time i wore them, and the 3rd pair was not the size it said it was ( ya this is my fault because i did not try them on, but tried on one pair and matched numbers so you would assume they were the same.)
I bought a Faded Glory t-shirt about 3 years ago. I love it! It was the first time I ever bought clothing from WalMart. I was impressed! I went to the store today to buy another one, and the fabric is COMPLETELY different! It's cheaper quality, and thinner - practically see-through. This was a huge disappointment!
I wish American companies would stop sending our jobs overseas! People here are hurting so badly. WE need jobs! But big corporate America has to export all our jobs to foreigners, and it's wrong! They are the reason why America is in a recession and Americans are losing homes because they can't get jobs because they're all given to freekin' foreigners, and it's hogwash!
You get what you pay for. You can go to Kohls, Old Navy, Farm and Fleet, and outlet stores and find great jeans for the same price..* I always find them less* then what you pay for at Walmart and they LAST
i recieved a fg shirt at xmas. loved it.after 10 wash and wear it fell apart.not going to buy a new one.
What is the world coming to. I went to walmart today and bought my THREE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER a pack of under wear. The underwear was faded glory. I opened the pack and found they were bikini underwear. WHAT THE HELL. My daughter is three, the size is four. Yes kids are growing up faster these days but what in the world is going on when a three year old is wearing bikini underwear. I GUESS THE NAME IS CORRECT FADED GLORY. Common sence and morrals are deffinately fading...scarey to let my daughters grow up in this society
I have been wearing faded glory for years. I recently bought a pair of jeans and they are completely falling apart after only a few months. I might have gotten 15 wears out of them before the pockets started fulling away exposing small holes and exposing my underwear. After a few more wears they are too bad to wear in public. I am a 36 year old pastor and wear my jeans only casually and I am not ruff on them.
I bought two pairs of Faded Glory Jeans. I've had them a few months but don't wear them that often as they have gotten big on me. A few weeks ago I was sitting down on my sofa and the jeans I was wearing ripped along the left side front pocket a few inches. Last night I was wearing my second pair of Faded Glory jeans and again was sitting down on the sofa only to have them rip in the same location as the first pair. Again I don't wear these jeans often and now I am out two pairs of jeans. I am very disappointed as I have jeans that are older then these two and I have warn them more often and have had no problem with them. These jeans seem to be made of thinner materials and am highly disappointed in the quality. I will be more careful in the furture to buy other brands other then faded glory.

The only jeans I wear are Levi's 501 blues which, I note with amusement, are made in Mexico-at least the pair I am currently wearing. I do buy Faded Glory polo shirts for work and church. I really like the shirts and they seem to last. My blue one is a little faded because it is several years old now, but I only paid $7 each for these at Wal-Mart. When the shirt looks too bad, I will just spend seven more dolars to replace. I look forward to buying more clothing with the Faded Glory name.
I have bought the faded glory short sleeve shirts for $3 to $5 a piece. All of them are 1 to 6 months old and have little tiny holes that are forming in the middle of the shirt. I have always liked faded glory and bought it over the years. I feel the reason they are so cheap is because of how they are made. Walmart has to make their money some how, so I guess if they can sell and make it cheap, then they will eventually make their money. I look at as a sales tactic. I don't agree with it and if I want some cheap shirts to just do outside work on the farm or painting with the kids, then I would use these cheaper clothes.
I believe that this brings the value and popularity of the faded glory clothing reputation down and sure no one wants to buy them, but it is still cheap and if you know going in that these clothes will not stay together long, then everyone will be able to make a conscious choice to either buy it or not.
In Texas, there are thrift stores that have really nice clothes that stay together longer than the faded glory clothes.
I disagree with that. FG is a good company. Kids grow out of stuff so quickly, how long does it have to last? It is also very inexpencive. I recentaly got a very cute jacket from FG.
I purchased 2 Flannel Faded Glory shirts for my son, after washing one arm is shorter than the other, and they are both now too short to wear. I had pictures done the first day we got them and we hadn't washed them yet, it's amazing the difference from the shrinking. I am so frustrated, I just got the shirts 3 weeks ago, I would have hoped they would have at least lasted 6 months!
I own an XL woman's zipper flannel shirt rfc#910911-9L0, style fg15017, upc#[protected], and would like to buy another one or two. Do you still sell this style? littlebur1@yahoo.com
i bought my dauther a faded glory hoodie pant set as i was hanging the hoodie up something poked me i thought it was a sticker, but it was a needle with the string still with it. A real sowing needle. i am very very unhappy that it could of been pokeing my daughters head and if it would of drawn blood who knows what it could of had on it.
I purchased both panties and long sleeved Ts. The price was good but to what avail? The panties split down the sides, not on the seams, on the first time worn. The Ts have very tight sleeves and enormous necks. We live 60 miles from the nearest store and can not just run over and exchange things. I won't buy from faided glory again.
I keep buying Faded Glory Jeans...but issue stayes the same...after a few washes the bottoms of the pockets gives way. Is this the way you keep costs down by using almost tissue paper like cloth to make the pockets out of. Nothing worse than a grown man walkng down the street then suddenly everything in those pocekts comes tingling out onto the ground.
I love the fit an the styling of the jeans..an in todays world I think you get your moneys worth...but if my cash keeps going threw the bottom of my pockets..won't have any cash to buy more (been using extra cash to buy safety pins to seal thse holes up.)
SO here is to hope that someone from Faded glory reads all these an tries to do something to fix the issues
PEOPLE, , , PULL UR HEAD OUT! UR BUYING FROM WALMART! WALMART FORCES COMPANIES TO CHEAPEN THEIR PRODUCT TO GET THE PRICE DOWN, , , WHAT THE HELL DO U EXPECT? WALMART IS THE DOWNFALL OF QUALITY IN ANY AND ALL PRODUCTS, MADE IN THE USA OR NOT. ALL U SHEEP JUST KEEP BLINDLY GOING TO WALMART LIKE ITS THE SAVIOR. WHAT HAPPENED TO QUALITY? WHATS WRONG WITH PAYING A LITTLE MORE FOR SOMETHING THAT WILL LAST LONGER? ALL U TREE HUGGERS OUT THERE, WALMART IS A THROW-AWAY STORE, NOTHING LASTS ANYMORE. LANDFILLS ARE FILLING UP WITH WALMART CRAP, GO BUY ANOTHER ONE, THROW IT AWAY, , , , LOL WALMART IS DESTROYING THIS COUNTRY, AND UR PAYING THEM TO DO IT! BRING BACK THE MOM & POPS! F WALMART
AND DO U KNOW AN EVEN BIGGER PROBLEM, WALMART HAS FORCED ALL OTHER STORES TO BUY CHEAP PRODUCTS TOO, TO COMPETE, WALMART HAS FORCED THE QUALITY OF EVERYTHING DOWN, , THIS IS THEIR PLAN, SO U HAVE TO BUY IT AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN. ID RATHER PAY MORE THE FIRST TIME, AND HAVE A QUALITY PRODUCT THAT LASTS, THAN HAVE TO BUY IT 3, 4, 5, TIMES. R U PPL REALLY THIS BLIND?
I have been wearing faded glory jeans and other clothing of theirs. just recently, about a month ago, i purchased a pair of jeans, only to have worn them for about the 3rd time, the buttton fastener came out. i think their rivets suck. can anyone tell me how to send a complaint to them? i do have SOME shirts, which are still wearing well.
i bought a couple of shirts from walmart. i have washed them, and the red and blue ones turns my arm the color of the shirt. i have washed the shirt over ten times, and it still dyes my arms. how many times do you have to wash a shirt for the dye to stop staining you., i will never buy another shirt again.
Try a different brand if possible. :l Yes it might take a few different ones to find what "fits". I typically buy jeans from like 4-5 different brands. Yeah sizing is a bit different in each but heck I'd rather buy a BU from Malibu that costs 18.99 that has been marked down from say 30 dollars. At least then I know there's quality in the material especially when I feel the material. Plus the Bu from Malibu pair I've had for 2 -3 years are turning out to be great jeans for Steel Welding. Honestly if a product isn't working on the second try IT IS NOT WORTH RETRYING 4-5 TIMES REFUNDING or REPLACING. Yeah it's cheap what do you expect.
That's like expecting a bad dish of food to taste good even after trying it 5 times and it doesnt.
A person can change it by trying something different when making the dish. Geez, and the same logic follows with clothes. IF A PAIR OF JEANS/APPAREL is not working TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT IF POSSIBLE.
Until recently, I've had pretty god luck with the Faded Glory brand overall but now I'm seeing a problem that the company needs to address. For the first time, I decided to try a 6 pack of their cotton briefs, UPC # 8 [protected] and after 1 wash the elastic in the legs was shot. The briefs are no longer wearable since they constantly ride up your butt and if I wanted a thong...I would have bought a thong. I'm going to take them back to Walmart, but I guess the quality control is a thing of the past.

I purchased Faded Glory Briefs, after a few months the elastic in the legs gave out, could stick 2 legs now into one leg hole. Whats the problem?

I bought a pair of black Faded Glory jeans & a pair of their regular jeans. I really like their jeans except the black pair I only got to wear once. When i wash them and hung them outside (I use a clothes line in the summer) they started smelling like they were ironed with a real hot iron (they smell burnt) I can't get the smell out, I have tried just about everything from vinegar to leaving them hang out on my porch in the rain. I will probably go back to wranglers even tho they are expensive they seem to last.
Does anyone have an email address or snail mail address for Faded Glory? I desperately need to contact them.

This is the best avenue to go considering Faded Glory is a Product marketed by Walmart primarily. I would start writing to this address and complain directly to them. this is the last known ownership. off of this website:

I have bought 4 pair of faded glory carpenter style jeans in the last 6 months, 2 pair in the last 2 months. 3 of the 4 have ripped in the back right beside the back pockets already. NOT IN THE SEAM EITHER Its pretty bad when a pair of jeans only last 2 months. Wont buy anymore.
My name is Ebony Roberson I've been trying to find a number to contact someone about a girls jackets I purchused @ walmart they are faded glory jackets the zippers broke off two of the jackets I
bought the jackets last month bout the middle part I did'nt want to return them to the store because they have bee wearing them since i got them and wanted to know if the money could be returned on my prepaid walmart money card my phone number is [protected] email address is flylady20@gmail.com i also still have barcode info from jackets and recite thank you
I have purchased faded glory shirts for work shirts only to have them not even last until my next paycheck two weeks later. The lack of quality is outrageous.
I also bought Faded Glory jean leggings and after the third time wearing them the elastic on top came apart. Faded Glory used to make better quality products but now it's produced like crap. I will never buy Faded Glory again.
Walmart forces companies to lower their wholesale prices. They have no choice. Walmart is the largest purchaser of goods and without them companies go bankrupt. To accommodate the lower prices they must use cheaper materials and workmanship. Sometimes that means taking the manufacturing into foreign countries where child labor is utilized, workers are paid next to nothing and working standards are deplorable. This in return is ruining everything that Walmart touches. Sure we pay those roll back prices but we are buying shoddy merchandise that barely makes it out of the package intact. It is sad to see Faded Glory products, once known for quality goods, now turning out crap. I will be throwing out my jacket and hoping to get something in a brand not carried by Walmart.
I recently bought a pair of dark denim Faded Glory Jeans and they fit perfect except they had a TERRIBLE SMELL that I could NOT GET OUT even after washing them over and over. I tried every thing on them and the smell of FORMALDEHYDE would not come out. Even my skin smelled like Formaldehyde. What chemicals are they putting on our clothes? If it is formaldehyde it is a known CARCINOGEN. FADED GLORY PLEASE STOP USING CHEMICALS IN YOUR CLOTHES.
I'm confused by the sizing of faded glory jeans. My son is wearing size 7s, they fit him nicely. When he got a hole in one of the knees I went to walmart and picked up a new pair of the same size. The new jeans are 4inches longer and huge around the waist. Can anyone explain why two pairs of jeans tagged the same size are so different?
I also bought a package of Girls 4T underwear that have A TERRIBLE SMELL OF FORMALDEHYDE. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I threw out not only the underwear but also a few other articles of clothing that the smell ruined!
This is not really a complaint. I am searching for another pair of a certain style of Faded Glory jeans, as I got a pair from WalMart & I absolutely LOVE the way they fit ... but I'm having trouble locating another pair. They are Faded Glory Bootcut Jeans w/ yoke ; Style # FGL341038DD UPC # 8 [protected] RFC # 910911-9LO I need a Ladies size 16 reg There is one more # ... RN # 78096 24M
Can you PLEASE help me find another pair ... I don't care what color?
I can be contacted at: otherearth4@msn.com
Thank You!
I have not had issues with the quality of Faded Glory clothing but I have had issues with the style or cut. I have recently donated two plus size tops that were only worn once to the local clothing bank. I had purchased these tops in the last few months. The only thing wrong with these tops was the low necklines. I have avoided purchasing other Faded Glory tops if the necklines appeared to be too low and they often do. The first one was a heather blue short sleeved Henley. The neckline was so low that when I bent forward at the waist the top hung down so low that everything from my chest to my legs was visible. The second one was a gray and white long sleeved top. The sleeves and trim around the neckline were gray. The body of the top was gray and white stripped. The fabric was a little heavier than normal and was soft. I really liked this top but the neckline was so low that I had to dispose of it. This top would be worn in cooler weather but it did not keep me warm because parts of my back, shoulders, and chest were exposed due to the low neckline. If anyone from manufacturing or design of these products is interested the numbers off the tag of the gray and white top are: RN 52469, style FGW44220HST, EAN#[protected]. If the necklines continue to be low I will not purchase these products in the future.
I am in total agreement with the comments above. I recently purchased two pair of chino's for work; one black and one beige because the dress code says shorts are a no-no. When I buy things off the rack, I have NEVER needed to check every detail before purchasing. I check that the stitching is okay, buttons all attached, no holes, no stains; the basic check.
Imagine my surprise when I tried to put my lunch money in my back pocket. Both back pockets are stitched shut, and if I try to remove the stitching to use them as real pockets, there is another row of stitching in the way. Why are there white material "pretend pockets" in these pants if they are not able to be used as pockets? This makes absolutely NO sense. I bet this would NOT happen in the men's department with their back pockets, because they USE their back pockets for wallets and such.
I guess it's time to rethink buying my pants in the men's department so all pockets will be functioning, real pockets.
I have wore faded glory for years. I recently purchased a new pair of women's boot cut, since the others finally wore out, and noticed the smell and also that the front pockets are a lot smaller. I work outside and like to have my keys with me and they keep falling out. Please go back to the larger front pockets and don't try to improve them any more. If they don't change I guess I will have to consider a different brand next time. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
