I currently am unable to register my vehicle because of violations on the 91 Expressway and Fastrak. I have had a valid account with Fastrak since 2018. My license plate was not input correctly into the system because of an issue Fastrak had with recognizing a zero (0) at the end of the license plate and an alphabetical O was the default. I contacted Fastrak on my first violation notice and was assured that the issue was corrected and I should not receive any further violations. Subsequently, I contacted Fastrak again. It was on the second contact that I was told about the glitch in the system and I was assured again that the issue was corrected. I started receiving an exorbitant amount of violations. I filed a complaint contesting the charges with 91 Expressway and even sent a letter to the collections/law offices that now represented 91 Expressway. I then received my registration for my vehicle for 2022 and this is when I noticed nothing had been done to fix the issue and now my registration was affected. There was a penalty fee of $1200. I called Fastrak again and spoke with a supervisor this time. I was told I had violations with them as well as 91 Expressways. I gave them all my information and I was told that they would notify Fastrak about my account and the issue and that violations would be cleared up and then I could go to the DMV and register at the DMV office. Well, as of today 91 Expressways still shows I owe over $3,000 in violations. This is ridiculous. I have had a valid account with Fastrak since 2018. Every month I have money deducted my bank account to pay my tolls. I should not have to work this hard to get this resolved. I do not owe 91 Expressways $3,000 and I should not have to pay a $1200 penalty at the DMV to register my vehicle. This has been going on too long - over a year and I am driving an unregistered vehicle because this isn't being resolved. I have been told on multiple occasions that everything would be resolved. All untrue. How in God's name does this happen and how does this issue get resolution. It is unfair and really a waste of valuable time.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology, my violations reversed and the ability to register my car without penalty.
