My son placed an order on my phone for Firehouse Subs on the app. He didn't realize when he submitted the order that the last location we picked up from was outside of Atlanta on a trip passing through. We live in Augusta and he thought he was picking the order up in Augusta. I tried to cancel the order immediately but that was not an option, so I went straight to online support for the app and filled out a complaint about this. The response was they would email me back but they didn't. I called Guest Services twice and they gave me the run around telling me they could not refund my order and that I had to call the Firehouse Subs restaurant where the order was sent, so I did that. I spoke with a manager on duty but he said he had no way of refunding the order unless I came into his restaurant. I live almost 2 hours away from there. I cannot do that. Why does the Firehouse Subs app have no way of cancelling orders and since they do not, why can no one refund the order when you make a mistake and chose the wrong location for pickup. No one has been helpful.
Claimed loss: $17.28 in an order I placed at the wrong location and never received.
Desired outcome: Refund for $17.28 or even a gift card for this amount to make things right.
