Disgusted.
I am DISGUSTED by my experience today with Flair airlines. I was flying home from Cancun airport with 2 kids under 2 and the gate agents told me I have to pay for both their diaper bags for $160.00. I showed the agents, as per their website, that we are permitted to bring a diaper bag, stroller and car seat free of charge. (Keep in mind I paid for checked bags already). They told me if I do not pay for the diaper bags I will be denied boarding. This man pictured here was abusing our family and stating our diaper bag was considered a carry on item and if we don’t pay it they will call security. I will NEVER fly Flair again. Please be aware of this company, they do not honour what their website states and their staff is incompetent
Recommendation: Do not fly Flair Airlines.
Miscommunication and Lack of Customer Service: My Experience with Flair Airlines
My experience with Flair Airlines was not a great one. I had booked a flight through Cheepoair well in advance for June 29, 2018. However, to my surprise, when I reached the airport on the day of my flight, I was informed that it had been cancelled a whole month prior to my departure date. What was even more concerning was that no one from Flair Air had bothered to inform me of the cancellation. When I raised this issue with the FlairAir representative, they claimed they had contacted all their customers about the change, including third party agents such as Cheepoair. However, this was not the case as Cheepoair informed me that they were never informed. To further confirm this, I spoke with another passenger who had the same issue.
Given this frustrating experience, I was forced to purchase another flight at a much higher cost due to the short notice of the cancellation. Despite multiple attempts to contact Flair Air for a refund, I did not receive any response for a week. However, soon after submitting a review expressing my concerns regarding their customer service, I quickly received an email from Flairair assuring me that they will send a refund cheque.
Overall, the lack of communication and customer service from Flairair was disappointing and resulted in additional costs and hassle for me. For those considering flights with Flairair, I would suggest double-checking your bookings and itinerary for any potential changes or cancellations to avoid any unwarranted surprises.
Beware of Flair Airlines' Hassle with Travel Credits: A Review
Flair Airlines (flairair.ca) has become quite the controversial airline, with some passengers happy with their low prices while others are frustrated with the airline's handling of canceled flights. The airline only gives travel credit when a flight is canceled, which is not necessarily a bad thing considering the current pandemic situation. However, what is disappointing is that the airline does not provide clear instructions on how to use the travel credit and the process takes forever.
Passengers have to call to use their travel credit, which can take hours until a customer service representative finally responds. In addition, the airline only guarantees the online price for 15 minutes, which can be a frustrating process for passengers trying to rebook. What's more, the airline does not credit the customer's account and does not provide reasonable means to access the credit, making the whole process even more convoluted.
The airline's only selling point is its low prices, but when you factor in the time and hassle it takes to use the travel credit, it can be argued that customers lose more money than they save. If the airline had a credit system directly connected to the customer's account, it would make things easier for everyone involved. It's bewildering that Flair Airline, who claims to offer affordable flights, does not provide their customers with clear and easy to use instructions for canceled flights. One could say that their ambiguous approach to the entire process smacks of malicious intent.
Ultimately, it's best to avoid Flair Airlines when looking for affordable flights. Their low prices may seem attractive, but the hassle of using travel credits isn't worth the time and effort required. It's best to look for airlines that offer clear instructions and hassle-free services, even if it means not getting the lowest price ticket.
Unacceptable Delay and Lack of Customer Service: Flair Airlines Review
I recently took a round trip flight with Flair Airlines and unfortunately, my overall experience was less than satisfactory. While the flight out was pleasant, it's worth noting that there are some extra fees that one should be aware of in advance. Also, if you're someone who likes to travel with a lot of baggage, you might want to reconsider as the cost can add up.
However, my major issue was with the flight back. I received a notification that my flight had been "delayed" for two weeks, which was extremely inconvenient. To top it off, when I tried to call the airline to speak to a representative, I was left on hold for an hour and a half before finally getting through.
The agent informed me that the only available options were to either receive a refund or re-book another flight with them. Regrettably, the soonest available flight was three days later, which wasn't an option for me as I absolutely had to get back home that day.
When I requested to speak with a manager and expressed that the situation was unacceptable, I was told that they would contact me back, which didn't happen. In addition, I was also disappointed to learn that no reimbursement would be offered for the inconvenience caused, and it wasn't until much later that I received any form of communication from management.
What made matters worse was that the agent who attended to me showed a complete lack of empathy and unwillingness to work with me. She offered no sympathy, understanding or even an apology for what I was going through. I was only left with two choices: either pay over $2,000 for another airline ticket or to rent a car and drive for 14 hours.
The airlines' complete lack of understanding and consideration towards a situation they solely caused was unacceptable, disturbing and downright unprofessional. It's truly disappointing when a business prioritizes financial gain over their customers' satisfaction and well-being.
Sadly, I can never recommend this airline to anyone and will surely never book with them again.
Nightmare Experience with Flair Airlines: Delayed and Cancelled Flight with No Compensation or Support
My experience with Flair Airlines (flairair.ca) was truly a nightmare. It was the worst airline experience I have ever had. To start, our flight was delayed for over an hour, only to eventually be cancelled. The lack of communication from the airline was astounding. We were made to line up and wait for help, without any updates or information regarding what was happening. The airline employees seemed uninterested in assisting us and were more focused on getting us out of the airport as fast as possible.
After waiting in line for two hours, we were finally told that there were seats available on another flight. Unfortunately, the computers froze and the seats were given to people who were served after us. This left us stranded with no compensation for our inconvenience. It was frustrating to see that snacks were available to be given out, but we were not offered any.
Furthermore, the airline did not provide any compensation for the cancellation, despite it being caused by "unexpected maintenance." We were told we would receive a confirmation about our refund within two hours, but it never arrived. Currently, I have been on hold with their customer support for over two hours with no end in sight.
The lack of communication, disinterest in helping customers, and failure to provide compensation made this experience with Flair Airlines unbearable. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this airline at all costs.
Flair Airlines Strands Passengers, Refuses Hotel Stay: Understanding Air Passenger Rights and Protections
Recently, an incident occurred that left approximately 100 passengers of a Flair Airlines flight stranded in Toronto due to a baggage cart that hit the plane and caused the cancellation of the Toronto to BC portion. Upon reaching the counter, passengers were disappointed to learn that the next available flight was five days away. The airline gave passengers only two options - a food voucher or a refund - but refused to offer them a hotel stay as required by the Air Passenger Protection Regulations. This was despite the fact that the regulations specifically require airlines to provide alternate travel arrangements and compensation to passengers who are affected by flight disruptions.
The situation got worse when passengers asked about the airline's compliance with the Air Passenger Protection Regulations. The agents claimed that the airline was "too small" to follow these rules. This is not a valid excuse, as the regulations are federally mandated for all airlines regardless of size. Passengers who challenged the agents were threatened with police intervention, which only made matters worse.
The delayed flight eventually took off with a delay of 18 hours, and six children were among the distressed passengers. To add insult to injury, the airline offered only a $10 food allowance per person, even though they were required to provide compensation for the delay. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and passengers who experience such issues should demand their rightful compensation under the Air Passenger Protection Regulations.
It is important to note that passengers are entitled to compensation regardless of the airline's size or reputation. Flair Airlines is not exempt from the regulations, and they must comply with the rules that are in place to protect passengers' rights. It is our duty as air passengers to hold airlines accountable when they fail to provide the service and respect that we deserve. We encourage everyone who has had a negative experience with Flair Airlines or any other airline to speak up and demand their rightful compensation.
Terrible Experience with Flair Airlines: Overbooking, No Social Distancing, and Exorbitant Baggage Fees
Unfortunately, my recent experience with Flair Airlines was extremely disappointing and left me feeling frustrated and upset. Despite checking in online beforehand, I was forced to endure lengthy and overwhelmingly crowded lines just to check my bags. To make matters worse, the airline had overbooked the flight which resulted in a completely full plane, and absolutely no regard for social distancing protocol during a pandemic.
As someone travelling with my elderly mother who needed special accommodations, and a young baby, our experience only got worse from there. We were among the last to board, and spent a full 3 hours sitting on the plane before we even took off. Many other passengers were still boarding the entire time, and it seemed as though the airline staff were pointing fingers at each other for the delay. Needless to say, it was an incredibly stressful and uncomfortable situation.
To add insult to injury, the baggage fees charged by Flair Airlines were exorbitant, and left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of. The first checked bag was only allowed to weigh 23kg, and if you happened to be over even just 1-5kg, the airline charged an additional $100+ on top of the already expensive fees. It was incredibly frustrating and disheartening, and left me with the feeling that this airline does not value or respect its passengers.
Despite the friendly and kind demeanor of the flight attendants, my overall experience with Flair Airlines was overwhelmingly negative. From the awful check-in process, to the lack of consideration during the boarding of the plane, and the ridiculous baggage fees, I simply cannot recommend this airline to anyone. It may be a cheap option at first glance, but the terrible policies and uncomfortable seats make it an experience you will undoubtedly regret. Avoid Flair Airlines at all costs - trust me, it simply isn't worth it.
Flair Airlines: False Advertising and Uncomfortable Flights
As a frequent traveler, my wife and I had high hopes for Flair Airlines on our recent family reunion trip. We were intrigued by their ads boasting low prices, so we decided to give them a chance. However, we quickly realized we had made a mistake. Despite booking through Flighthub, the fare ended up costing just as much as a flight with West Jet, thanks to all the extra charges we were nickel and dimed with. Plus, the claim that charging for carry-on would expedite boarding turned out to be completely false. We experienced a frustrating delay of thirty minutes while the staff struggled to count everyone on board.
As soon as we boarded, we were struck by the unbelievably poor condition of the plane. The seats were worn and uncomfortable, with some even refusing to recline at all. The magazine pouches were riddled with holes, and the coffee cart seemed to be a hand-me-down labeled from the European airline "Sleasy Jet." To make matters worse, there were screaming toddlers running up and down the aisles, making it nearly impossible to move around the cabin.
Overall, we were left feeling disappointed with our experience on Flair Airlines. There was no noticeable "flair" - only discomfort and frustration. Even if someone were to fly without any luggage, they likely wouldn't save enough money to overlook the less-than-satisfactory experience. Needless to say, we won't be flying with them again anytime soon.
Unacceptable check-in experience with Flair Airlines: Refusal to accept government-issued IDs leading to stranded passenger and extra expenses
My family and I recently booked a flight with Flair Airlines from YYZ to YXX. We arrived at the airport early, at around 7:45 am due to COVID restrictions. While waiting in line to check-in, we provided our forms of identification to the staff member. However, he refused to accept my driver’s license with the Service Ontario renewal paper, which clearly states that the license is valid with the paper. I provided him with my health card, social insurance number and student ID as well, but he insisted on a driver’s license. I was shocked as I had already provided him with several government-issued IDs.
Our flight was set to leave at 11:20 am, but due to the check-in issues, I was unfortunately stranded at the airport. I realized that I had my citizenship paper at home, so I asked the staff member if he could please let me go and get it. Thankfully, he agreed, and I rushed home via Uber, paying $90 for the round trip. However, when I returned with the paper, he still refused to accept it. I was devastated that I was unable to join my family on vacation and decided to Uber home again, paying another $45.
The next day, I went to Service Canada at 8:30 am to inquire about any other necessary documents. However, they informed me that the paper I had provided was the only one they issued. My family had another flight with Flair Airlines the following morning, so I decided to try again. This time, I was able to check-in with the same ID and paper within 10 minutes of meeting another staff member. However, this time I had to pay an additional $350 for a one-way trip to YVR, from where I had to drive 80 km to join my family.
This experience left me deeply disappointed in Flair Airlines. I plan on reporting this incident under the "air passages protection regulation" as no one should be subjected to such subpar service.
Nightmare Experience with Flair Airlines: Incorrect Booking, No Response, and Costly Mistake
I recently had a disappointing experience with Flair Airlines while trying to book flights for a trip to Vancouver from Regina. Unfortunately, the website provided an incorrect return date and I promptly tried to cancel the flight within the 24 hour time limit for a refund. I sent a total of 8 cancellation requests via email as directed on the website, but despite the website claiming they had received these emails, I did not receive any contact from Flair Air over 48 hours later, via email, phone, or text. Moreover, my attempts to contact them were not fruitful either, as my emails were rejected by their servers and the phone line had me waiting for 2.5 hours and 1.5 hours respectively before an agent picked up and hung up on me after saying hello. In my desperation to resolve the issue, I tried to change the flight without cancelling it first, but this only added to my woes as the website completely messed up all the flights.
Unfortunately, I was charged an additional $50 for the mistake made by Flair Airlines on my behalf, and to make matters worse, the complaint venue they had listed had the exact same number as the one that kept me waiting on hold for hours and then disconnected as soon as I got connected. Left with no other options, I had to rebook everything with West Jet. I've had to spend close to $600 and 2 days of my time, as well as missed a $500 overtime shift at work trying to resolve this issue with a human being on the other end.
I'm beyond disappointed with the way Flair Airlines has handled this complete fiasco. I've taken the matter up with the Better Business Bureau, the Canadian Travel Agency, and my credit card company in an attempt to get a refund, and have screen-shotted all my phone times, emails, and forms to provide them as evidence. Overall, my experience with Flair Airlines has been a nightmare and I would not recommend them to anyone in the future.
Upset and Unhelpful: My Frustrating Experience with Flair Airlines' Customer Service
My recent experience with Flair Airlines on March 07,2022 left me feeling upset and frustrated with their customer service. My flight was scheduled to depart at 9:15am and I attempted to check in on the Flair Airline app, but unfortunately, the app was not working. I approached the customer service desk for assistance, but the customer service representative, who happened to be a Filipino woman, was not helpful at all.
From the start, she was rude and had a terrible attitude. I kindly explained to her that the app was not working and asked if she could assist me with the check-in process. She replied that I would need to pay $25 or do it myself on the app. I showed her my phone, but she refused to look at it and kept repeating that I had to pay or go home. What perplexed me was that when I asked other passengers in the line if they had to pay the additional fee, all of them said no, so I couldn't understand why she was trying to charge me.
As the situation escalated, she called the police on me because I approached other passengers, but when the police arrived, they explained that I should pay the fee now and sort it out later. However, when I tried to do that with my MasterCard, she refused and wouldn't allow me to board the plane. I was devastated as I had just secured a job that required me to work in Vancouver for three weeks, then come back home for one. I asked the customer service representative for her name, but she declined to provide it, and when I asked to speak with her supervisor, she claimed to be the supervisor.
I even called their customer service line and waited on hold for over two hours, only to get advice to send an email to support. At this point, I had missed my flight and was going to have to explain to my employer why I hadn't attended work, which put my job at risk. I recommend that everyone traveling with Flair Airlines avoids interacting with this specific customer service representative, as she can and will ruin your trip.
Flair Airlines Complaints 11
Lost luggage
My Oct 25/23 flight from Halifax was delayed 3 hours. We boarded and then were delayed again. What should have been a 4hour layover in Montreal turned in to less than one 1hour. I had to collect my bags, recheck in myself and my bags for my flight to Vancouver. I made my flight but my bags never made it to Vancouver. I reported my bags missing right away and subsequently sent numerous emails to Flair, all to which I was getting a generic reply, which is of no help. I try calling and just get automated messages. I've gone to YVR twice and there is never anyone from Flair there that I can talk to. I've done everything requested by the airline.
Claimed loss: 3 weeks now with no luggage. 2 large luggage gone!! Upwards of $6000 in personal items gone!! Clothing, shoes, toiletries.
Desired outcome: Find my bags! Or at least properly respond to me and let me know the status of the investigation as to where my bags are, or what you will be doing to rectify this for me.
Frustrating Experience with Flair Airlines Customer Service: A Review
Well, let me tell you, my experience with Flair Airlines has been incredibly frustrating to say the least. For the past two days, I've been desperately trying to get ahold of their customer service department, but to no avail. With my flight only two days away, the lack of response from the airline has left me feeling helpless and frustrated.
My attempts to get in touch with Flair Airlines have been wide-reaching, but not a single thing has worked. I've tried their live chat feature, but nobody was available to connect with me. I then waited on hold for an hour and a half on the phone, only to be hung up on. I even attempted to use their text service, but all I received were automated responses.
As a last resort, I emailed the airline only to receive absolutely no response at all. And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, the "in app changes" feature wasn't even working - it simply wouldn't load all night long.
Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and inability to make changes to my itinerary has forced me to cancel my trip altogether. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to my travels with this airline, but their poor service has truly left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.
Disastrous Experience with Flair Airlines: Cancelled Flights and Terrible Customer Service
Oh boy, where do I even begin with Flair Airlines? Let's start with the cancelled flights shall we. It's a pretty terrible feeling to have your travel plans suddenly thrown into disarray, especially before you even step foot on the plane. However, what's even worse is having to deal with their customer service to try and sort things out. It's like trying to navigate through a maze blindfolded. Seriously, trying to contact them is like pulling teeth.
After much waiting and frustration, we were promised the next available flight at no additional cost. Sounds great, right? Wrong. It was anything but. We ended up getting slapped with the cost of a hotel reservation we couldn't make, Uber rides to and from the airport, and on top of that- an increase in flight cost. It added up quickly and totally nullified any savings we had anticipated with this budget airline.
It's a shame really, because the whole reason we went with Flair Airlines was to save some dough and put that extra cash towards a fun-filled holiday. Instead, we ended up exhausted, irritated and with empty pockets! Overall, I would definitely recommend avoiding this airline if possible. Sure, they may be cheaper - but the headache and hassle are just not worth it. Save your sanity and opt for a more reliable and customer-oriented airline. Trust us, your wallet (and holiday vibes) will thank you.

Caution: Flair Airlines' Punctuality is Highly Questionable, Costing Us Our Time and Money
.
When it comes to air travel, one of the things that we expect is punctuality. Unfortunately, that is not always the case with Flair Airlines. After personally experiencing delays, I would caution you to think twice before booking with them, especially if you have tight schedules.
During our recent trip, our flight was delayed by a whopping 6 hours without any notification, causing a great deal of inconvenience not only at the airport but also for our entire trip. Since we had already booked our accommodation and car rental, we missed our first night's stay, and the rental company charged us for a missed day. Additionally, we lost 2 hours of our fishing trip on the day we arrived, which was also pre-booked.
The worst part about the whole experience was the lack of empathy or concern on the part of the airline. They did not even offer us any compensation, which was quite frustrating given the extent of our losses. Even when we asked the airline's representatives why there had been a delay, we received no response or explanation.
While it may be tempting to book budget airlines like Flair Airlines, given their affordable prices, you could end up paying much more in the long run, essentially cutting into the savings you hoped to have by booking with them. Therefore, it would be wise to avoid them altogether, as we are left with a bad impression and would not recommend it to any fellow travelers.
Flair Airlines Review: Unprofessional Customer Service and Lack of Communication Channels. Proceed with Caution
Hello readers, I would like to share my experience with Flair Airlines. I must say that it was not a pleasant one. I encountered several issues with their customer service which ultimately left me infuriated. The wait time on hold was unbearable and even after waiting for up to 6 hours, the call was often cut off. Additionally, my emails and text messages were not addressed, leading me to believe that this airline lacks efficient communication channels.
I understand that airlines can face challenges from time to time, but I found Flair Airlines to be highly unprofessional in their handling of these challenges. I was left feeling like I was stuck in limbo - frustrated and exasperated. Truth be told, I felt like pulling my hair out in frustration and despair.
If you are considering booking with Flair Airlines, I highly recommend proceeding with caution. I advise potential customers to educate themselves regarding the type of service provided by the airline before making any decisions. Don't assume that all airlines offer top-notch customer care. In fact, booking with Flair Airlines may cause more harm than good.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by Flair Airlines. I sincerely hope that they take steps to improve the quality of their customer service moving forward. It is important for airlines to understand that the way they treat their customers can have a huge impact on their business.
Flair Airlines Review: Understaffed, Unreliable, and Unsatisfactory Flying Experience
My experience with Flair Airlines was not a pleasant one. Unfortunately, I was faced with a 3-hour delay on my Friday flight and when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I was hit with a 5-hour delay on my Saturday morning flight. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the situation.
One issue that I noticed was that the airline was understaffed at check-in and during boarding. This made the process even more chaotic and prolonged the delays. It was clear that the lack of staff was a contributing factor to the overall delays experienced.
Adding to my frustration was the fact that I had to pay for both my luggage and seat on the flight. Even more frustrating, despite paying extra for a specific seat, the airline can choose to move you at their discretion to a cheaper seat without refunding the difference. It's a sneaky tactic that left a bad taste in my mouth.
The planes themselves left much to be desired. There was no WiFi or TV’s, which left me feeling bored and restless during the flight. All in all, it was the worst flying experience I've ever had.
What made matters worse was that I was flying down to attend a work meeting and the hours behind schedule meant that I missed the meeting. This delay cost me both time and money, and I was extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by Flair Airlines.
Given my experience, I would not recommend this airline to anyone. The poor management, understaffing, lack of amenities, and unreliable schedule make for an unsatisfactory flying experience.
Cancellation Chaos: My Disappointing Experience with Flair Airlines and edreams
Recently, I had the chance to book a flight with Flair Airlines through the travel agent service, edreams. I booked 2 tickets with them, looking forward to my upcoming trip. However, my excitement was cut short when I received the unfortunate news that our flight had been cancelled by Flair Air.
Upon hearing this unexpected news, we were offered an alternative re-booking option, which inconveniently happened to be 4 days later than our initial departure date. This, for us, was clearly not a feasible option given our tight schedule.
To top it off, we were disappointed to learn that we would not be receiving a full refund for the cost of our tickets. The reason we were given was that edreams charges a mediation fee. I found it inconvenient and unfair to be charged $63 as a mediation fee when clearly no mediation service was offered as an alternative. It was Flair Airlines who initially cancelled the flight and not us.
This episode has left me feeling extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Flair Airlines and edreams. It is frustrating to have to deal with the hassle of a cancelled flight that could have been better handled, and losing out on hard-earned money. Consequently, I wouldn't recommend anyone else to go through this similar experience for a flight that couldn't even be reasonably rescheduled with this airline. It is safe to say that I would not be booking with Flair Airlines or edreams in the future.
Review of Flair Airlines: Pleasant Flight, but Poor Online Booking and Customer Service Experience
I recently had the opportunity to fly with Flair Airlines, and while the actual flight itself was pleasant enough, I must say that the online booking and subsequent customer service experience were far from satisfactory. I encountered a string of issues that left me feeling frustrated and somewhat disappointed with the airline's overall service.
To begin with, the online check-in process was cumbersome and confusing. Despite the website advising that printing out your boarding pass was necessary, this proved to be impossible, as the website would not allow me to do so. This resulted in me having to call Flair's customer service team for assistance, which only led to further issues.
During the phone calls, I was astounded by the sheer number of problems that arose. One of the most frustrating aspects was that the website seemed unaware that there were two of us travelling, insisting on creating the same baggage allowance for both myself and my wife. Naturally, this caused quite a bit of confusion, and when we called Flair to resolve the matter, we discovered that my wife had been allocated less baggage than was allowed on the return trip than she was for the outbound flight. This was a rather startling revelation, and I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get it sorted out.
Furthermore, the customer service representatives I spoke to were not particularly helpful or efficient. During one call in particular, an agent was simply unable to comprehend my concerns and, to my great frustration, hung up on me mid-conversation. This kind of experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
Overall, while the flight itself with Flair was perfectly fine, the numerous issues encountered with the online booking process and customer service experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I would hope that Flair can devote more resources towards improving their customer service experience in the future, as it is an area where they are currently falling short.
Watch Out for Hidden Fees: A Review of Flair Airlines
If you're looking for an affordable option for your next flight, you may be considering Flair Airlines. However, it's important to be aware of the extra fees that can quickly increase the cost of your ticket. One thing to note is that Flair charges for carry-on bags. This means that if you show up to the check-in counter with a carry-on bag, you may be hit with an unexpected fee - one reviewer reported being charged $62 for their carry-on.
However, it seems that this fee can be avoided if you don't report your carry-on bag at check-in. While this may feel a bit sneaky, it's worth noting that apparently nobody at the gate is monitoring bags or checking their sizes. In fact, one reviewer saw a passenger with an oversized backpack and bag go unchallenged, as well as a woman with multiple bags, a dog carrier, and a backpack.
All that being said, if you're willing to take a bit of risk and inconvenience, Flair can be a decent option. One tip is to book your ticket and check in online, which can help you avoid extra charges and save time at the airport. Ultimately, it's up to you to weigh the risks and benefits and decide if Flair is the right choice for you.
Disappointing experience with Flair Airlines - Unacceptable Customer Service and Negligence during COVID Times
My recent trip home from Abbotsford to Toronto with Flair Airlines was a disappointment, to say the least. Unfortunately, we were denied boarding due to an expired driver's license during the challenging COVID times we are currently facing. However, what followed was unacceptable.
After realizing that our bag was still on the plane, which contained vital medication, we demanded its retrieval. The Flair Airlines employee told us that it would be taken care of, but unfortunately, they didn't deliver on their promise. The delay in retrieving our belongings caused us great concern for our health and well-being.
Thankfully, we discovered that we could extend our Ontario driver's license online and subsequently attempted to re-book our flight with Flair Airlines. To our surprise, we were told that this was not acceptable, and we still couldn't fly. This is an error on Flair Airlines' part, and their staff should have returned our bag and accepted our now valid ID.
Despite Flair Airlines' mistakes, I am grateful that Swoop Airlines stepped up and offered to fly us home immediately after hearing our plight. Their exceptional customer service, coupled with their knowledge of Canadian Government regulations regarding valid ID, saved the day.
Overall, Flair Airlines gave us incorrect information, created health concerns through their negligence, and failed to deliver on their promises. It's disappointing to say the least, but I'm grateful for the other airline's superior service that helped get us home safely.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Flair Airlines Amid Pandemic
My recent experience with Flair Airlines left me feeling flustered and dissatisfied. In light of the pandemic, I had to cancel my travel plans and reached out to my travel agency for assistance. Unfortunately, they directed me to contact Flair Airlines directly, which added more stress to my already hectic situation.
After speaking with one of Flair Airlines' agents, I was shocked to learn that I would receive $0 in refund and be charged an additional fee of $2.95 for my cancellation. This left me feeling cheated and frustrated. I couldn't wrap my head around how a company could charge customers for canceling flights under such extraordinary circumstances.
The agent I spoke to was respectful and professional, so I don't hold them responsible for the policies of the company. However, I do believe that Flair Airlines needs to review its approach to customer service. It is concerning that they don't seem to prioritize the needs and concerns of their customers.
As someone who has had a negative experience with Flair Airlines, I will be passing on this information to my friends and family.
