Between the blatant and very well documented harassment by the property manager, upper management downright ignoring any and all requests for help, the disgusting uninhabitable living conditions, improper rent increase notices, building code violations, horrifying pest problems, and fpi’s overall failure to acknowledge that tenants have rights, i’ve had a absolutely horrible experience the past two years. Now, despite all of the above being absolutely true, the property manager has the audacity to refuse my rent payments for two months in a row now claiming i’m in eviction status despite no legal notice or notice at all to support this “status”. When the property manager doesn’t gain traction through this tactic, they switch gears and say i’m in violation of “community guidelines”, but only me and not the 27 other tenants that should indeed qualify if their made up bull is actually true. I’d never know because they conveniently lost my lease, my move in checklist and agreement with prior resident/previous property manager, lost receipts submitted in support of repair and deduct, lost any and all maintenance requests, and as of today lost their copy of my key and now have threatened to drill through the door to enter at their own discretion claiming i’ve changed the locks (no coordination with me at all before attempting to allow strangers to run in my house and I have a big dog that could easily hurt an intruder). They also refuse to reimburse me for over $1,300 I have had to pay to repair the unit and for the cost of the hotel we had to stay in when we were without heat for the second time this past winter. They refuse to reimburse for the four floods i’ve had in two years. Hell, they flat out refuse to repair anything claiming i’ve never submitted repair requests (oh, but I have my requests in writing dummies)! Finally, they refuse to pay for professional cleaning services of over 150 porous surfaces contaminated with fiberglass insulation, dirt, drywall, and other debris cause by their filthy contractors (again, despite a lot of documentation provided). Let’s put these slum lord “property managers” out of business by completely bankrupting them via a huge class action lawsuit. They’re awful and have a reputation of being so, yet nothing has been done to stop it! There’s got to be 25,000+ current or former tenants that have experienced issues similar to what i’ve described, or worse! If I were an attorney, i’d absolutely jump on this because the payout would be tremendous! Not to mention their treatment of single mothers like me, low income housing renters, and the elderly.

Desired outcome: These idiots don’t try to ruin my perfect credit score or rental history!
