I am a Senior Fraud Victim Advocate with Fraudaid.org , first of all what you have experienced is what we call a Fake Lottery Scam. It is designed for one purpose only and that is to get innocent and unsuspecting people involved in the fantasy of winning a ton of money. They use this scam to do one of two things:
Launder money by sending you a check with your winnings letter and instructing you to depsosit the check and send off a portion of it to pay so called fees and taxes to free up your winnings OR for the purpose of getting you to pay advanced fees to gain access to your winnings. Here are the cold hard facts:
1. If you did not purchase a lottery ticket , you could not have won that lottery. Why? Lotteries only exist on the money gained through the sale of tickets. The money they get from people purchasing tickets IS the money or at least a portion of that money that is dished out in winnings.
2. IF you have gotten a surprise winning notification and a check from a lottery company you had better verify that the lottery is real and that the check was indeed issued to you by the " Account Holder". Most likely that check is Counterfeit and you can wind up in a heap of trouble either with your bank or legally if you cash it.
NEVER EVER send money to anyone you do not know via services like Western Union, Money Gram etc based on a sales pitch or promise. Those services are widely used to scam people out of hard earned money. Why? Simply put... once that money is sent and picked up at the other end there is NO way to retrieve it or to recover your losses.

Sir, Just recently i recieved a noticed, i have won a prize in FreeLottoGame $ one million dollar. confirming my address here in Manila suppose they will sent letter regarding i won possible that amount and cheque i was eligible, Want to know which i may believed its true and i should indorse to deposit what name of the bank your accreditted to claim it rather. I have notice something when i search again in my email yesterday evening such mail matter notice was missing. my name is currently on the freelotto pending ticket, i did not realise what was going on when i signed on, As soon as i signed up a fraud alert flashed up, it would be nice if this kind of alert was in place before taking such SCAMS, I am now going to sit back and watch.

lotto is suppossed to be a 1 in a million chance but i "won" 3 times with in a month... 1 000 000 aus, 10 000 aus & 300 aus...
but then asked for my credit card details to pay 14.95 month... no way am i giving my details away!
if you win... u receive money! not pay money!
If you are getting email after relentless email, do what I did. I created a filter so that all emails with the words freelotto gets forwarded to:

So now I don't get emails from them because as soon as one is sent to me, it gets forwarded to the emails above instead. If everyone created filters like this, they would be overwhelmed and would have to close those email accounts and hopefully the website too.

I also thought it was B.S. but read the congradulatory email carefully. It says you have won UPON submission of the correct numbers. I always had checked the results and did not match the numbers completely. so how could i have won? I am from the Philippines, and i have also received an email message stated that I won $1Million. The Freelotto.com has been sending me couple of messages since April. I'm confused about this conspiracy, I even gave them my information, about my email add, and personal identity. It tired me once, but still trying, but I haven't gave them my credit number or I haven't yet paid any bills for claiming my prize.

If you are genuine then use any card to give the checks out but don't demand for credit cards only. Let the genuine winners get their checks straight as they win
