Sold an account here, no contact even thought they said it would take up to 3 days. Its been over 2 weeks. They do not respond to emails BEWARE SCAM. Im guessing all these posts were made by the same person so don't trust Gamewar
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I also bought from this company. They are pretty good and have hundreds of stock. They are not a scam, and I have only good things to say about them. If I have to give a review on this company I would give them five stars because they are one of the most reliable and trustworthy companies to go with.
I am so worried these days about fraud Internet companies so it was tough in the beginning even trying to purchase an account. I decided to go with these guys because they were American like everyone has said, and I felt secure with this company. After around 40 hours I did not receive my account so I got worried. They finally e-mailed me back the next day and apologized and actually upgraded my order giving me a free game card and a gift certificate for the trouble. Not many companies I know of have this good of customer service so I do recommend them to everyone out there thank you GAMEWAR!
Just got my account and everything is in working order these guys are really good and are definitely not a scam company! I will be selling to them as well shortly.
I am happy to say that this I had a good experience as well with gamewar. They are truly professional and their services are top notch. If you guys want a reliable non-Chinese company I would go with gamewar because the are truly the only option on the Internet that I know of that is actually reliable.
I tried this alol company, and they were just awful. The live chat was pathetic. GW doesn't have live chat up, but there email + phone service is actual support while the chinese companies speak a language that they think is english but it's not!
Overall, I had a good experience with GW, so I do recommend them and speak highly of them!
I sold around 4 accounts now to GameWar, and they have done an excellent job. It's true, they can take up to a week to pay you, but they give you the best quotes out there.
Other options out there absolutely suck! Most of them are chinese ### who just use your accounts to farm gold, and then file disputes on the payments.

FYI - gamewar.com doesn't have a phone support line. I know they use to but here is a tip as you have to request to speak to a manager. When they do they normally give you a direct phone line to one of them.
People need to understand what a scam is before they post. A scam is when someone actually defrauds you, which means that they actually took your money. The two who posted above are full of it because they say GameWar is a scam yet did they actually take anything?
Why don't you sign up for a GameWar membership, and check your order status? It's right their what your status is and most likely the information is right there.
I'm a real customer, bought from them twice, sold one of those accounts I was done with back to them, so I am going to post what I need to because I will defend this company to the fullest.
What's wrong with buying with GameWar? Bought from them multiple times with no problems. Not sure about selling but I can tell you Accountsbay sucks, they are 100% chinese, and if your account is banned before they buy, they blame it on you and don't pay.
Company is NOT legit. I just sold my account to them and got nothing back in return. They stole my account, also they dragged on the process for about a month now. Thanks for the false advice guys.

If there is a positive response it is coming from someone that owns or works for the company. Been waiting over a week for a response about trading my EQ2 and WoW accounts. Feel the company is a scam to steal accounts and passwords.

I tried to sell them an eve online account. Submitted my details as requested and accepted their quote. Handed over account login details and waited...
This was more than 10 days ago. Have tried to email, with nothing but automated replies. The live customer support is never, ever online.
I have since changed my log in details to avoid them trying to get my account, after emailing them to tell them to stuff it.
I am very glad I didn't try to buy anything from these idiots, because I'm fairly certain that they would have just stolen my money.

This company is a scam. I was ripped off for 145usd after trying to buy an account from them. They sent me information for a stolen game account which was taken back buy the original owner after 24 hours, or buy gamewar.com themselves. Either way its a scam and a stolen game account is still stolen property under law. I made this purchase via paypal and the ### are fighting the dispute! just filed a report with https://complaint.ic3.gov/ the FBI's internet fraud dept. the company is based in the states and runs several other websites like this one. If you are a victim I urge you to go to the goverment crimes website I posted and report your case. the more we stack against these guys the better the chances they get put into the system. Might seem silly but it will work, stealing your game accounts or selling stolen game accounts is still theft of virtual goods and is illegal. plus its a conspiracy to commit internet fraud. report this and help get these guys.
will the other day one of my MMO account was hack and now my Account is on http://www.gamewar.com up for sell so I'm blaming this company for hack my account and buying hack accounts . So when you buy something from this company Beware! they have all the info the need to hack your account !

The company isn't fraud but they don't get an A+ in Customer Support. You need to contact them on facebook as they respond 5x faster than they do by e-mail. Even if you don't have a facebook, takes 15 seconds to signup and post on their wall.

I have sold a few accounts to them and also bought one. No problems at all though I suppose the speed of the transaction could have better.
i posted my account on their site. They said the money was coming for the last 5 days and nothing has been given to me. I tried logging into my account and they changed my password. So far I am seeing a big scam. I DO NOT SUGGEST YOU USE THIS SITE!

I also had a payment issue and opted to have my payment sent by mail. The problem ended up being USPS being to slow. Hope that helps!

Auntie is right. GameWar Reviewer who posted the original item has only ever posted one item. Given other comments, Auntie recommends you give this company a wide berth.

So this is a little crazy. I submitted a complaint last week about this company because I never received the items I ordered. I attempted to contact them 8 or 9 times over 4 days just seeking an update and ETA, with absolutely NO response. I was pissed, as they had already taken my money (over $100). So I posted up on this board.
Not long after, they email me saying they already delivered it via email, and that I must have lost it. Wrong answer. They were trying to save face and blame ME for this? No. Wrong answer. A few more emails later and they eventually "re-sent" me the info I needed, making the delivery complete. Only 48 hours later than they guarantee, and only after me all-but harassing them. for 4-5 days.
But the next part? Oh this is the best. I get an email this morning from complaintsboard.com saying:

As per your request, your complaint has been removed."
This email, sent from IP: 74.115.212.54, United States, Virginia, Ashburn, Netco Solutions Ltd (data taken from http://www.iplocation.net/index.php ) was NOT ME. I live in Tennessee. My ISP/I.P. are TN based (first octet of my I.P. is 97) Now... who else would bother to try to remove it? Well, Gamewar.com (based ion Delaware, pretty close geographically to VA) sure has the ONLY thing to lose (more customers). And clearly they're standard business practice is to blame the customer when they fall short on their guarantees, instead of owning up to it. Then making the customer badger them before receiving the goods THEY PAID FOR. Seems pretty obvious to me who would send in a request. Identity theft? Check. Fraud? Check. Piss poor customer service? Double-check.
So let's recap what they did.

Submitted EVE online account a week ago now, have only had an automated message in response, and I checked on the website and the status changed to 'assigned to agent'. Have had no response to any other emails I have sent, have tried contacting them on facebook, nothing. Aand I am now locked out of the account, the password and the email address I had on the account have changed. If this is legit, then it isnt a business, its some guy who found how to make an easy buck and will sometimes follow through on what has been agreed if he can be bothered.

This Was the Worst Customer Experience with No resolution What so EVER> I purchased a Account in 2011 and was very happy with the purchase intially I put in over 3 years of game time and extensive play. One of their Policy's was that this was 100% secure and that I wouldn't ever have to worry about the owner of the original wow account i bought to reclaim it. 2 Days ago the original owner of the account that sold it to Game war.com Logged in, changed the password, Purchased the new upgrade, used my level 90 character boost. And then sold all of my gear for US currency not only to end on that not but Blizzard banned my account. I have sent them over 10 emails on all three of their WEBSITES, GAMEPAL>COM, ACCOUNT GEAR>COM and GAMEWAR>COM. I have not received one reply and have not have anything resolved. I am extremely pissed off at this and they have done nothing at all to attempt to fix anything. I will locate all of their Go daddy sites that they use, and continue to inform people of how crappy their customer service and the experience is. This is just ridiculous! I will never EVER PURCHASE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS WEBSITE OR ANY OF THE OTHERS THAT THEY USE.!

I've traced booplay.net to... Broplay.net to .. Playboo.net to... Game-pal.net to bow gamewar... This is huge! Some Indian guy that came into America is running this company.. Take the support/contact email address from any of those websites and put them into reverse email search on www.spokeo.com
My story simply started by looking for a movie online this movie website said I need to sign up for a FREE membership to watch it. Sent me to booplay.net asked for info and bank card info said used to verify who I was and will not be charged. Wrong signed me up into a 5 day trial said I will be charged $35 monthly only way to cancel in time is to pay $1. I traced booplay.net back to all these sites! Booplay.net broplay.net playboo.net game-pal.net wargames I'm doing more research the same person owns all these who knows how many more scam sites! If you were smart you would research to.
