On our 2nd purchase from Genco Marketplace, while working on the complaints of the first shipment, we continue to get mis-information.
Upon visiting Genco in Tennessee, we were told the product was new only to discover upon receipt that it was returns and orders with missing parts. Upon taking inventory, the order was shorted 861 items out of a total of 4, 726 that we should have received. Our client was very upset at the mis-information and shortage. Hopefully we can resolve this issues to both our and our client's satisfaction.
We are continuing to workout the problem and will apprise you of our progress.
Anyone have any ideas or contacts to help resolve our issues. please advise.
Please call [protected] to resolve this issue. We are always more than willing to understand an issue and help to resolve it when possible.
Thanks
Genco is horrible, advise everyone to stay away from all these fake, scam liquidators. If you are not on the inside in this business, you will be screwed more often than not. I find it ironic that they have their own website and on ebay to sell individual items. Obviously they take all the best items for themselves and then sell the crap. These companies are all the same. They remind me of liquidators.com. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM GENCO AND ALMOST ALL OF THE OTHER SO CALLED LIQUIDATORS, THEY SHOULD BE PUSHED OUT OF THE BUSINESS. THEY NEVER RESOLVE AN ISSUE, NONE OF THEM.
Please call [protected] and we can resolve your issue.
I need a good wholesale liquidator
any suggestions?
I need suggestions for a good place
Genco is terrible and sales salvage items as returns. I see they respond and say call us for help but I could not get a return phone call to save my life. Be wise and stay away from these people, they will rip you off.
So I have researched and found out thank you for replying
As in many places it can be a hit and a miss. You do have to know your way around finding good deals. I found Genco ok on few things but not so good on others. I usually stay away from any liquidation place open to public with couple exceptions. You might take a look at http://www.lcswholesale.com or even contact power sellers on EGay or amazon, many will be happy to unload a pallet as it clears room.
I have had a very similar negative experience with Genco. I bought a truckload of "Overstock" items from them in late June 2013. I had various smaller aggravations with payment and shipping, but the main issue was that the shipment arrived short approx 75% of the items. That is not a typo ... we received 1/4 of the items we paid for. Of that 1/4, only a very small percentage was in fact "overstock". The majority was salvage goods at best ... literally bent and magled boxes and contents not fit for resale.
Initialy, we received a response requesting a list of the damaed and missing items, which we promptly provided. SInce then, all our phone calls and emails have gone unanswered. If it was anything but fraud, they would at least have made an attempt to resolve the issue. They have not. I spent $20, 000 to purchase the goods (advertised as $118, 000 in retail) and another $8, 000 to get them to Canada. I have perhaps $5, 000 in saleable goods at best. If this is not an error Genco is willing to resolve, then Genco is intentionally ignoring, and I consider it a fraudulent scam. I will be pursuing it via negative reviews in over 30 sites I have researched, as well as complaints via various government bodies both in the US and Canada, as well as a small claims suit should that fail to achieve any results.
Genco's mission, per their website, is to value "Accountability - accepts responsibility for actions". I fail to see how sending a customer 1/4 of the goods paid for and ignoring their repeared requests for answers/renumeration as valueing accountability. I hope this helps someone from getting in the same predicament as I am. AVOID GENCO.
Yeah, I would avoid at all cost. They sold me a lot of 119 HDTV's as "untested" customer returns. When get go them they had all been tested as Bad by Genco. They were all defective. They mis-represented this load and it should have been labeled as "salvaged". They offered me a credit on future purchase but why in the world would I deal with them? Ray Gallagher, said that I would have to spend at least $10, 000 on one load and another $10, 000 on another load just to get credit. for the full $20, 000 I spend. That makes no sense. Why would I pay another $20, 000 after you just ripped me off $20, 000.
